AliciaNwonderland: did you like living in California? I have always wanted to live there. Possibly in San Francisco, Pasadena or Los Angeles. Lots of big companies are there.
[i hope you don't mind the pinging]

I am definitely looking forward to the holiday break. Over the summer I took summer courses so I did not have a break then. To put in plain and simply, yes in am looking forward to the holiday break.
What is the last news story you heard/read. Where did you hear it and do you have an opinion on it?

as far as I remember, it was very nice... I only have a couple of fuzzy memories of the time because I was very young. i would love to move back to Florida though, the beach is my absolute favorite place to be in the whole world. I'd like to move to Miami in the next year or two :)
unfortunately i don't watch a lot of news. its always violence and sadness.
have you ever been to the beach? where would you most like to live?

Yes I have been to the beach in America, Ghana, South Africa, and Thailand. It is beautiful in every single place that I have been too. Although each have their advantages and disadvantages. In my hometown the ocean is always cold, but in Thailand it is like bath water.

I think that in America I would most likely want it live in either Colorado or California. I am not entirely sure of what town I would live in though. Outside of America I would like to live in South Africa, Sweden, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Noway, and some other of which I can't remember at this point in time.

I do like the atmosphere and the environment, but each day my will to leave increases. I would like to move into an apartment and get out of my parents house. To do that I would need money and to get money I would need a job. So for now am in college and hopefully getting out either next semester or the semester after that.
Once I get enough gold on this account to exchange for fleet commander and the apocalypse engineer items I will start looking for users who have those items.
Does anyone know if we have any items like a laptop or a computer on menewsha?

2600: glad you're here Twenty-six.
Also, to answer your question, no I do not like where I live. Everyday, it's something different: A kid is shot, a woman is raped, a person goes missing. I know I live in chicago, but it's not by choice. When I get the chance, I'm heading North. The only other way I'm getting out of this city, if I stay here for too long, is a body-bag.
Has anyone ever had a dream, where they can't understand it, but it feels like it has a deep meaning.

Yes I had a dream when I was younger. I would be in my room and I would go to the window. When I looked out the window I would see a scary figure from the afterlife. Then I would run into my parent's room, which then turned into a tilefloored kitchen. Then I would wake up. I have never known what the meaning of this dream is or was, but I have had it multiple times over many years.

Thanks Ali! Your avatar is looking very cool. I can't help but get a festival vine from it for so,e reason. I love the conversations here as well. Especially when people go in depth with what is being discussed. I really feel like I am getting to know more users by talking to them here. Even without private messaging all of them. It is always fun to come up with new questions. Since my last question has not been answered it still stands. What is your favorite store on Menewsha?

To answer your question, my favorite store on Menewsha is The Toy Chest, because I love having a critter or two next to my avatar.

Hey to sal and anybody else here aswell :)
In answer to the question Sal asked i'd probably say my favourite accessories are my hair bows. Honestly i don't have that many other items considered accesorries, unless certain poses of CI's count? xD
My question is, do you have any fun plans this evening? It is the weekend after all! :P

I do have some extremely fun plans to do an eight page easy by Monday and study for a math quiz. As well as complete two other short essays and a speech. Then yeah I will have a lot if fun, but not all of those things will be fun to do. It will be extremely fun when they are finished. :)
Have you ever been in aclassroom wondering what it would have been like to just get a job and a home instead of doing school?

Impressive list of links you have in your signature now. ^_^
In response to your question -- I do both. I currently work two part-time jobs while in school full-time. So, I guess I don't really wonder what it would be like to just get a job. It will be a long time before I am working full-time without being in school.
My question is -- what are you studying and why?

salvete: thanks salv hehe, I wanted to put emoticons next to every link, but mene rules only allowed me to put four in my siggy. :0 so that's why the money symbol is there, and I just typed out the art thread link.
Good questions!

Currently I am studying communications. I wanted to study it because it can lead to any entertainment industries such as television, radio, web design, and public relations jobs. I also enjoy studying the effect of media on society. Gender is one of the topics I am interested in, but I am not sure if I would ever become a woman and gender studies major. I do miss art and music. My first year of college I was a musical theatre major and it was extremely fun, but I did terribly in my general education courses. Now I am about to finish out a semester with an A in my communications classes, possibly a B if my speech doesn't go over well, but I also passed my gen pera, education courses that I failed the first time around. Honestly if I had it my way, I would take one course at a time without any breaks except for like two weeks in spring, winter, and national holidays. I feel like I would pass every course in that schedule, because I would always only be doing one class.
What college degree do you have or wish you had?

Engineehh! Hehe i've gone giddy for some reason xD
If this netbook was a big faster and swapping pages i'd be able to multitask better >.<
I like your question, but it is hard! But i did spend a little time looking at some degree's last year that i wish i could have done and my favourites were around the animal/conservation side of biology.
Like Environmental Biology or Marine Biology + Oceanography.
I love that kind of stuff, i just didn't get the grade when i should have done so i didn't get the option to further my education. I could still get there but it would cost SOOOO much money and take me way too long. Maybe i'll just settle for being a zoo keeper or something xDD
What is your favourite wild animal? (one you can't have as a pet, even though you might wish you could!)

Lavinia: I am on an iPad. It is pretty difficult to do the multitasking thing on it, but somehow I have managed to be on two accounts at once using two different browsers while having at least five tabs open for each account 0.0 iPads can be useful, but I have been using a touch keyboard.

My favorite non-pet wild animal is the duck billed platypus. They are very cute, but I am afraid I would never be able to give them the environment they desire as a pet owner. Also platypus food is not a normal store item haha.
If you could be any animal, what would it be and why? Would you have a different name?

Ah yeah, i have a kindle which is faster, but i hate typing without a keyboard it takes way too long and autocorrect annoys me xD
Platypus? I didn't expect that answer haha, they are cute though.
If i could be any animal, i'd probably be some sorta bird. Maybe an Owl or an Eagle, so i could be totally independent and swoop around freely. I just wanna flyyyy! NO idea about a name i probably wouldn't need one xD

I have wished to be called many different names. One that I always wanted to be called wAs Devian or maybe Devin. I don't know why, but I really like that name. I went so tar as to name one of my Oc's Devian XD. IRL I actually go by my last name, so I kind of did change my name in a sense. My first name came from my adopted family.

Sometimes when you dream, you feel you're on the border of something. I feel it, and when I reach for it, it always move away from my grasp. I sometimes want to just dream forever, trying to reach for it.

I have not had a dream where I was exactly reaching for something, but I definitely have had dreams where I was either being chased or chasing something that kept going just a little faster every time I would catch up to it. Those dreams usually end with me tripping somewhere in the middle of nowhere and jolting myself awake I'm the real world. They can be pretty freaky.

To answer your question, 2600, my favorite season in the year is probably spring, fall, or summer. Well, maybe winter, too. I am kind of non-picky person in that regard. Every season has its pros and cons. Winter has fluffy snow that I love, but it is also a literal pain to shovel a lot of it. Fall and spring have classes, even though their weather is usually the nicest. And summer is usually no classes, but can bring on heat waves!
What is your favorite thing to eat during a heat wave?

To answer 2600's question, the last time I took a risk was...hmm...right now! I am supposed to be finishing an assignment. But, I couldn't figure out how to go about it. Sometimes, it helps me to step back from my work and let my subconscious think about it. That doesn't always work. But, I am risking it.

If you are referring to a subject in college <which is what I assume> then it would probably be abstract math. It is more like logical concepts and stuff rather than actual math. There aren't variables and it is more about proving things and changing numbers for no reason. It is like there are no problems to solve, just words that are difficult to make sense of. I love english though. I am jot doing amazing in it, but I love it because we read so much.
What is the last song you listened to?
