Oi, it is odd. The summer was what was weirdest though, since it would be hot like back home, but then the humidity just made it so much worse! D: If it was a dry heat like in CA I would have ran around in underwear all day but here it's all sticky and nasty so you have to wear clothes to keep from sticking to yourself/other things (I cross my legs a lot and I hate it when they get all sweaty and icky or stick to chairs >.<) Worst summer I have ever been through. and what makes it worse was I was only here for the end of august/beginning of september XD july is going to be bad. I can feel it.

o3o So even the summer is different. Wow. That's a lot of adjusting. I like july and june, it's not so bad. Spring and fall are favorites because it's moderate.

I think I'm going to like the end of Spring/Beginning of summer the best XD since ti should still be nicely breezy and everything

oh another thing about summers here, freak thunderstorms/rain showers. It's crazy! they come out of no where! one day we decided to go out to eat (since we just bought the house and had no food in te fridge) it was clear as a new contact when we went in. When we came out there were bee sized rain dropping on us XD it was crazy! and the thunder was scaring the kids and making for an all around bad yet laughable experience. when we got back in the house after... 3 minutes of being inthe rain it looked like we had jumped into a pool. I was amazed.

It's so strange. <3 But I like the experience as a whole. Makes me feel like my horizons have been broadened (and not just because I would have to watch the sunrise on a beach instead of the sunset d: ) It's worth playing with and going to new places to experience at least.

probably not until the summer or the year after next sometime. Plane tickets are costly, and with 5 people it will be even more so. I think Scotts mom offered to cover half the cost though since she misses the kids so much d: I won't be surprised if when she comes to visit in the Spring if she tries to take Kura home with her. She loves that kid to death.

my favorite place to be for them is Santa Monica. The colors are really vivid and there is the pier with the ferris wheel on it and all the other rides and it is just really pretty. (:

I'm sure it's beautiful. You are right though about the weather here on the east coast. It's really unpredictable. Of course you probably won't get the snow we are getting right now with the temp being around 25 today for a high. I never realized that everywhere didn't have the humidity like we have here. It's just down right awful. No wonder Gary keeps telling me he loves Florida so much.

From what I understand it's not as bad as it is further north. It's not as dry and CA but not as humid and we have it.

owo impressive XD maybe I should move again >.>
I'm in North Carolina, I think I've gained weight since moving from California </3 all that good ol' southern cooking d: I've started to work on that though. making things healthier and exercising semi regularly... but yeah, here I end up sweating from not doing anything too. at least, in the summer. I can be sweating from standing under a fan. it's so hot and humid over here </3

So what made you decide to move to Indonesia? It seems kinda random

Hey guys!
I'm sorry my thread fell off the first page :( But i was sleeping!
Right, i was supposed to go back to college today, mum woke me up and she just told me to go back to sleep because i'm still not better. And then i slept in from 7.30 to midday >.<
And i think i managed to fall asleep at half 11 last night so i've had 12 hours sleep. I think that's the most i've slept since i was a baby! xDD I never get enough sleep.

Ooh! I have some news. I had this letter come in the mail this morning about college ending and possibly taking a gap year before uni. Well this organization is all about looking after the planet and i can have the change to go to Australia, which i have always wanted! So now i'm seriously considering taking this gap year and travelling to Australia. <3333

Honestly, I think taking a gap year would be good for you. Keep you from getting too worn out of school. As long as you don't forget everything you learned thus far it shouldn't be too bad. (: yay for getting the chance go to go Australia!
I've decided to honeymoon there >.>

I think i've decided that taking a Gap year is probably the best option for me at the minute. I'm unsure of what i want to do as a career so i don't want to jump into something that i'm not 100% sure on.
I just need to look into this Australia stuff a bit more now :) I don't know why, but i've had this huge obsession for Australia for an uber long time. I might even live there one day <333
