Nkay, I made my entry:
[x]
It was a collab written by the mods and the NPCs about Mr. Mayor and his life throughout Menewsha.
>>;
It would include him through growing up in the history of Mene, and in the back it'll have a list of places he's been and a short description of each.
XP;
@ Korrye:
Woah, that looks awesome.

I did that shortly after making my list, when people kept suggesting some interesting books to read. XD
Oh! *updates list*
I finally finished Breaking Dawn sometime during the weekend,
and am now starting on Go Ask Alice. 83
And I've just reached the 10/50 book mark! XD

Ooh. Tell me how you like it please!
I remember when we were talking about it, but I still haven't picked it up. xD;
Yay! How did you like breaking dawn? Oh...wait...I think I already asked you that. xD;;
Hehe hooray 10! I'm on my 19th one now...I think...xD
Well, I'm adding the to-read list because I have a membership to Books-A-Million, and when they send me discount offers or just their book club picks, sometimes titles catch my eye, but I dun wanna go out and buy them at that moment. :lol:
So I scribble the names of the books down, but it makes a lot more sense to keep them here rather than on random pieces of paper. xD

Yeah.. I didn't do as much summer reading as I wanted to do.
I have a lot of books lined up to be read though. XD;
Ahh~ I see. And then I end up taking random pieces of paper to the bookstore
because I can never remember the titles I was planning to look for when I get there. XD;;;

Still having problems with Great Expectations.
I'm following it, it's interesting, I don't dislike it. I just can't get into it. Nothing at all is compelling me to pick it back up. *headdesk* This is really slowing my reading down...
I got Syrup the other day by mail. Thinking of just starting that.

Lura:: I need to like...have someone take me to the bookstore and take a notebook and just prowl the shelves and write down names of books I want to read. xD :ninja:
Cherry:: Maybe its just not your cup of tea? There's nothing wrong with that. -pats-
What's Syrup?

I've heard mixed reviews about Go Ask Alice. I think it's another one of those love/hate books.
Just look at it with a critical eye, I suppose. There's no telling whether it's fact or fiction.

I dunno. Maybe. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just not compelling at all. D:
Uhh, it's hard to explain since I haven't read it, yet. xD My boyfriend's a big fan of the author, and recommended it to me.
I'll link you to the wiki. It's not very long and it explains it pretty well.

Lura:: XD
Except the fact that you're like halfway across the country might be a little bit of a problem, no?
Knerd:: Go Ask Alice, from what I've gathered from the reviews and such that I've read online, is apparently definitely fiction. >.o Written to persuade teens to stay off of drugs. There was apparently another "diary" of another "anonymous girl" (or it may have been a boy. I can't remember the specifics. D: ) that was edited or published or whatever by the same person/people who did Go Ask Alice, and it was about Teen Pregnancy. D: Published around the same time even, I think. x.x
Cherry:: :ninja: It sounds interesting...

^ All Beatrice Sparks has ever published are adaptations of teenage diaries. I believe it was "Jay's Journal" that started to get her negative attention. There were so many inconsistencies that the family ended up suing her, I believe, so that now her name is actually listed as author, not editor.

You can do either.
You can list books that you've read from January first on, and then must be done by the new year, or you can list books you've finished starting today, and then must be done by this time next year. ^^
I started with the new year, since that's just easier to remember. And then you start off with some stuff already on your list, which is definitely encouraging.

I've been gone for months. I wanted to update my book list, but now I've got to find everything I read.
Brutal Beauty: I started from the day I started my list because I couldn't remember everything I'd read, but a lot of people started from New Years.

I think I started mine from the day I joined the challenge, because like Joie, I couldn't remember everything I had read.
If it wasn't the day I joined, it was like a week before or something. I don't think it was from the beginning of the year...
