I don't like acne either. I usually break out around that time of the month, but aside from that, my skin has been relatively clear and great. But now, I have these little bumps beneath my lips, along the chin, as if things I have been eating dripped down and ruined my skin. T__T
So I gave myself a chemical peel tonight, and I'm using lots of tea-tree oil, so I hope it helps.

My mother was really into this company called "Beauty Control", and I use products from that company. Everything is relatively gentle, and my mother has sensitive skin and enjoys it too. There's a skin wash, and scrubs, all sorts of cute and wonderfully aromatic girly things.

But! The best store-found item that I've ever used is St. Ives Apricot Body Scrub. It's incredible, Jennifer. Any time I take a shower, I'll just use a little bit of it and scrub my face and body and it feels great. The dead skin is sloughed off, and it helps keep everything clear and clean. I've heard that you should only use a scrub once or twice a week, but I haven't had any problems, and I shower almost every night. Even once every two days is fine. I've found it's best if you use all your body and face treatments after washing your hair, because it helps get rid of that shampoo and conditioner residue that might contribute to blocking your pores.

Also, I use this tea tree oil gel, and it's a great cure-all. Almost overnight, blemishes are gone if I use it. And it's natural, and a natural antiseptic, so you can use it on cuts and it heals them up in double-time. The only downside is that it has a strong aroma that might not be very appealing to others.

I'll have to use that St. Ives. My sister seems to swear by it too, so it must be good. Lately I've just been using a foam wash, but it doesn't seem to be working too well. Thanks for the shampoo/condition tip. Though I don't have any hair, haha - it's still a good thing to know for when my hair grows back. I didn't really think that the shampoo and conditioner could be a contributing factor to clogged pores.

What brand is the tea tree oil gel? That sounds like something I'd also really like to use.
