Holy crud... you might want to just take out a page from the middle... would you really get in trouble for turning it in over the limit? I think that it would be worse to turn something that was well UNDER the limit instead?

Zephi: It's coursework, i'll get penalised. But it was my teacher who told me to add in load of extra stuff so he should be prepared to cut some out for me. 480 words to go.

I mean, if you bring it on yourself then there's nothing you can do that can help it. Just have to suck it up and read a few extra words I say...

No, thats to the point. There is a word limit set but the exam board, and when the board moderates it, they can penalise me for being over the word limit.

Which is exactly why I don't associate with civilians... because if a soldier didn't want to do them, then I'd take them to he ground and tussle them up. They learn, one way or another, they will learn.
