"Enough nagging, will you?" Kaimiri grumbled, shrinking the orb to the size of a jewel and securing it in the setting on the pendant at his throat. "I'm leaving already."

Selena nodded. "To keep things from getting mixed up, Marshall and Aria are Alpha. Negi and I are Bravo. The rest are Charlie." She said, using the phonetic alphabet.

Laria tilted her head.
"Eh? Why are you naming them those?" she asked.

Good luck brother Rose thought, cause you will have some party crashers.....

"It's the phonetic alphabet." Selena explained. "I named them in order of you pairing everyone up."

"Ah, I see" Laria said, as she opened a portal to Oblivian, "Well, it's show time! Good luck!"

Amelia looked in the mirror. Her head cries for Kaimiri, but her heart cried her one true love, whoever that was. Her eyes tells that she was under his control, but he hasn't gotten control of her heart.
"Why does it has to be him? This is forced marriage. He's a lie, cheat and a power hog" she said out loud, "Why does he wants me so badly? He knows if he kills me, the whole universe will be destroyed." Just then, the door opened, revealing Kaimiri.

Selena led the way into the portal. "C'mon, kids! We've got people to rescue and general chaos to create!"

"Hello, love." Kaimiri said, letting himself into the room. "I must admit, that dress become you very much."

Laria watched as the circle went through the portal. After the last person went through, the portal closed. Then she looked out the window.
Now, what am I suppose to do? she thought.

"You think so?" Amelia asked, "I'm not that sure...."

"Look in the mirror if you want proof." Kaimiri sighed.

---

"Everyone, make sure you keep your minds open to mindlink." Selena said out loud. "But keep your barriers up against hostility; I trust you're all capable of mindlink." The group nodded. "Good. Just keep in mind that while we'll have mental connections to each other, we'll also have to keep chatter to a minimum as a precaution against being detected. I'll also have my implant off, so that won't tip them off. Each of our three teams will be pretty much on our own."

"I have, but really? White? This is unacceptiable" Amelia said, "Is there any other dresses out there?"

"But how are we suppose to know where we suppose to head?" Aria asked, "This is like a maze here."

"Yes, but isn't it tradition in your world for the bride to wear white at her wedding?" Kaimiri responded.

Selena's eyes unfocused as she let the bonds on her power loosen just a bit. "Yes...but once you know the layout, it's a cinch." She replied. Her eyes still unfocused as her vision sped throughout the castle, her power allowing her to investigate the entire place at least by sight while she stayed in one place, she took out her data slate and started tapping commands with the stylus and drawing a map. As she returned her sight to herself, she made the final adjustments and sent the map with highlighted locations to the slates of the group.

"That should be at least a close enough approximation of the place for us to be able to get around," She said. "I highlighted the likely locations of where our objectives are; Amelia, Miku, and the memory shards."

"White? Ha! We don't do white. Not part of Earth remember?" Amelia said, "either find me a new crimsom dress with grey and black assessories, or the wedding's off." That's when Kaimiri realised that she turned into a bridezilla.....and he liked it.

"From what I understand, they should be heading there" Ruby said, pointing to the main reception hall, "That's where Amelia is headed. Knowing Kaimiri, that is sealing the deal and he has his seal stronger since he will have the most dangerous power in his grasp."
"Right, then lets go" Aria said, after Selena highlighted the new location. The groups split up and headed to the directions. After a while, Ruby shivered.
"I have no idea why this place seems familiar" she told her group, "It's so cold and icky."

"I see your point," Kaimiri said, coming close to her and putting a finger under her chin. "Well, that's easy enough to change." With a snap, the dress's colors were changed, while the style was the same.

Jiyann looked to her out of the corner of his eye. "Something wrong?" He asked.

Amelia looked at her dress and smiled.
"Perfect" she said.

"It seems that this place is familiar....but I don't know why" Ruby replied, "And I haven't been here before."

---

"I was thinking" Aria said, as she and Marshall was walking towards the main reception hall, "what are we going to do after all of this is over? I mean, sure we have a long way to go, but what are we going to do afterwards?"

Kaimiri smiled. "Now, shall we?" He asked, holding out his hand.

Negi paused and looked to Ruby. "What makes you say that?"

---

Marshall shrugged, at a loss for words. "I have no idea," he said. "Pick up where we left off, I guess. I mean, it's not like we're in school or anything, or if we are we're wrapping things up, which we can do easily enough on the road."

Ruby turned around to face Negi.
"Laria said you were suppose to be with Selena" she said, "we'll deal with your sister."

Amelia turned away.
"I'm not sure if I want to go through this" she said.

---

"Maybe, but to be quite honest, we're kinda drifting apart" Aria said, then sighed.

---

Yugi walked down the hallway to see how Rei was doing. To his surprise, the room was completley dark. The woman held her wrist, while blood streamed down her arm. In an instant, he quickly grabbed Laria and brought her in.
"Oh no...." Laria groaned, "This isn't good."

"Uh, right. I'm going." He said, running off.

Jiyann stared after him. "You'd have blown him up if he didn't go of his own accord, wouldn't you?"

Kaimiri put his hands on her shoulders and squeezed in encouragement. "You'll do fine."

Marshall took a deep breath before replying. "I hope not." He said. "I mean, we've known each other since we were little kids. You think the advent of being Signers and these Circles of Power is what may be driving a wedge...?"

"You got that right," Yugi said, striding up to Rei, a healing spell and several protective wards at the ready. "Get Dartz; we're going to need his healing specialty."

"Not precicly" Ruby replied, "I just don't want those two to have another feaud, that's all."

---

Amelia pushed his hand out of the way.
"I can't go through with this" she said, then she ran out of the room, leaving Kaimiri a bit pissed off that the Seal plan might be on a verge of failure.

Amelia ran as fast as she could, till she got to the throne room. There, she hid. Kaimiri's father opened one eye and looked at her.
"I can't do it, I can't" the poor woman said to herself quietly over and over again.

---

"Signer, no. The Circle thing, yeah. I mean, ever since Sakura came along with this Circle buisness, it has done more harm than good. I mean, look at the first group. Yuzaki is gone, Rei got depressed, what else is going to happen to them" Aria replied, "If she just waited a bit longer....."

---

Laria nodded and ran to Dartz. A few minutes later, the two returned and they had a look at her arm. A large cut was around her wrist, and it looked really deep.
"What are we going to do?" Laria asked.

Jiyann nodded, having seen the siblings go at it far too often.

"Sooo...when we going to find a few of these memory shards?" Aotori said, looking like his usual lazy self. "I mean, it's not like they're standing out in the middle of the room with flashing signs saying 'Here I am!'."

Marshall was silent for several long moments. "Hey, we've managed to get through things worse than this together." He said. "Besides, we can't exactly say when we get stuff like this thrown at us. I mean, isn't that what you said when our Signer Marks first showed up?"

Dartz was examining the wounds. "Get her to the infirmary for one," he said, using a spell to stop the bleeding and bandaging them.

"You think she might have tried killing herself?" Yugi asked in a low voice.

Dartz shook his head. "No; I can tell from how clean the wounds are, and the remnants of an aura, that Rei didn't cause these wounds herself." He replied. "Usually, when someone tries to kill themselves by slitting their wrists, the cut on their second wrist is jagged, far more so than on their first wrist." He traced the vein on the inside of his own wrist with his index finger. "This artery here is what's cut when someone does so; and usually, when severed, it bleeds out. Fast. The rapid blood loss leads to, among other things, a loss of coordination, as I'm sure you know Yugi."

The Earth-aligned mage nodded. Selena said the same thing when she explained about the scars on her wrists. He thought.

Dartz continued. "That leads to the person attempting suicide to end up with one wrist bearing a clean cut, and the other being jagged. Both the slashes on Rei's wrists are clean and precise; whoever did this knew what they were doing."

"Yeah, but the Marks hasn't been used much till now" Aria said as they headed to the reception hall.

"Looks like we have to think like Kaimiri to answer that question" Ruby sighed, "And I don't like that idea more that you do."

Laria took Rei to the infirmary. After admitting her in, she waited for Dartz to return. After a while, he and Yugi entered the waiting room.

Marshall nodded. "No arguments here," she said. "We haven't really had to use them till now, anyway."

---

Aotori shivered. "Uh, yeah. Think like a psycho bad guy. Always a comforting thought."

"Just think of it this way," Jiyann said in his usual monotone. "We don't have to fight him."

The group stared at him. "Y'know, Jiyann," Aotori said, "your sense of humor sucks."

---

"Well, the wounds are healed," Dartz said, stowing his hands in the pockets of his labcoat. "But the next question is this; how did someone of that power get on the ship, wound Rei that badly, and then manage to get off-ship as easily as he or she did?"

"It may not even have been caused by a person," Yugi said. "For all we know, we may have inadvertently taken on a kind of dark aura that's been getting into everyone's heads, and Rei's feeling the most effects from it."

Laria clicked her her finger and the box which held the rings appeared. She opened the box to show the ring that Selena put on has not only changed colour, but also the design.
"I think that's the cause of it" she said.

"There is something that is bugging me" Aria said, "Are you in love with Amelia?"

---

"Yeah, what gives with your emotions anyway?" Ruby asked.

Dartz took a look at the rings, then paled and stepped back, a hand going to his mouth.

Yugi, though able to more than sense the dark energies coming off them, was a bit surprised at Dartz's reaction. "Dartz, what's wrong? You look like you saw a ghost...."

Marshall turned instantly red. "I...uh, well... uh...uhm..." he stammered.

---

The group was silent. It was a subject that they all knew about, but didn't like to talk about. "About that...it's kind of, complicated." Yurine said.

"I can't feel. Emotions, that is." Jiyann said in explanation. "Never have."

"I think we found out why Rei's emotions are out of wack" Ashleigh replied, turning into her light angel form "That is the exact same ring that Selena put on to demostrate something to her."

"Be honest" Aria said, in a nosy tone.

---

"Is that all? There has been others like that which fell in the same bloodline as yours, though we don't know why that happened or what caused it" Ruby said.

"Some of Selena's power must have stuck to it." Yugi said. He sighed. "That Eye just doesn't like people."

"There's something else that's attached itself to that ring." Dartz said, still pale but recovering from the shock. "Something that I thought I had seen the last of in Atlantis."

"W-well, she is kinda attractive..." Marshall said, his face getting redder.

---

"Some kind of genetic experimenting," Jiyann replied, all monotone. "Sometime between the Signers 5000 years ago and now, some mad scientists decided it was a good idea to take the descendants of an old Dark Signer and muck around with their chromosomes, to create living weapons. The project got scrapped when they were found out, but by then the damage was done; the mutation was there, and it's been passed down ever since." He shrugged. "Though, my parents can feel, only it's severely dulled. That's how it is most of the time. I don't have emotions at all."

"And yet, he's got morals. And knows what friendship is." Aotori said, coming up behind him and Yurine and putting his arms around their shoulders. "We're all one big happy family!"

Yurine's eye twitched. "Watch it, Bluebird, or one of your 'happy family' is going to give you a black eye."

"And whats that suppose to mean?" Ashleigh asked Dartz, "a part of the beast is in there?"

Aria giggled, then skipped ahead.
"Marshall loves Amelia! Marshall loves Amelia" she sang.

---

"Thanks for letting me know" Ruby said as they reached their destination of Kaimiri's Secret Room, "At least I can report on that when I go back."

"No," Dartz said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Something much, much worse. The thing that created the Leviathin."

"What's that?" Yugi asked, his spine running cold. If whatever was attached to the ring was enough to make Dartz go that pale, and scare him so badly, it couldn't be good.

Dartz looked at him and Ashleigh levelly. "The Destroyer. The god that has been trying to annihilate humanity since we climbed down from the trees and started walking upright. Takkarsiss. My guess is he decided to add his own...mark to this ring just after Selena tried giving that demonstration to Rei.

"He's the one who created your friend's Demon Eye."

Marshall's face went even redder, which only made his hair look blonder. "I didn't say that!" He protested. "Oy! You listening to me?"

Jiyann frowned. "What do you mean by 'report'? On what?"
