Gwennan silently put her weapons back, disappointed in the fact that she did not get to cause any pain, or blood shed. She shrugged, and turned, walking ahead of the others in the direction of the 'fire land'. She still had no idea what they were doing, or why they were doing it. Adjusting her backpack, she strode on.

Kaden looked back a Gwennan "You shouldn't want to shed pain upon someone, You'll be just as ruthless as the Demons" He smirked "Am i correct?" He asked frequently.

Gwennan looked up at him, and shrugged. "I've got my secrets," she said quietly, but seriously. "I've got my ambitions..." She said almost angrily.

Be careful of your ambitions they may cause more pain than you think

Gwennan looked over at the other man, smirking, "they've caused enough pain. I know what I'm doing, and I know what I haven't... And I know what I must." She said confidently, with spite. "I don't believe I caught your name," she said to him.

"I have something to prove," she smirked, giving off a mysterious aura. "Nice to meet you Obsidian, I am Gwennan, if I haven't already said." She smiled, nodding.

Gwennan looked at him, somewhat bitterly. After a moment of gathering her thoughts she opened her mouth, "my parents disowned me, in my training days. Our clan were the guardians of our village, and even throughout our country. I was disowned, and sent out into the streets, banned from my country until I can prove myself."

"No," she said plainly, shaking her head. "I just want to prove them wrong. I guess it's just a matter of acceptance. I just wanted them to accept me, no I wasn't a stiff hardcore fighter. I was a little lazy, a bit of a rule breaker, but nothing harsh. So they exiled me basically, until I can prove myself. One day, I will, I know it." Her expression was blank and serious, yet her emotions inside roared like a hungry beast.

Gwennan looked at him and smiled warmly, "thank you Obsidian. I admit I can be a bit headstrong sometimes, but thank you."

Gwennan nodded, "very true, yes." She sighed, and looked ahead, "just how many days will this journey take?" She asked.

I think it will take anywhere from a month to five months. Five months may be an exageration but who knows how long it will take it will all depend on how well we work together.

Gwennan nodded, "interesting, either way, it should be... Fun, I suppose." She smiled, raising her eyebrows, then continued on their journey.

Of course it will be fun. I mean who wouldn't enjoy sudden peril at the thought of killing demons and going against the strongest of them all. * he smiled again to show that he was being sarcastic *

She laughed at his sarcasm, "you've got a good humor." She smiled, he was like her, except she was disowned for being like that... Free-spirited.

Hey what use is it to live a life without humor to ease up the tension all the time.

Gwennan looked down, "yeah some people just really need to get that through their heads..." She remembered her family, easily ashamed, and scarcely proud of her. It was always her brother that got the attention.

Those people are usually no fun to be around anyway and they are usually really lets just say picky for now. * smiles to show that he wanted to say another word in place of it *

"Haha, yeah, they were painful to be around. I think if I hadn't been kicked out, I would've left. Still, them doing the job for me... Intimidated me I suppose." She shrugged, and thought back remembering her brother, prideful, yet humbled, but so cold.

A little intimidation is what brings people to give up yet it can also spur some people on like you for example.
