........
(PUTS IRO IN ANNA-LIKE-DEATH-HUG-OF-LOVE) That's it, you get another sketch. FESS UP, WHO DO YOU WANT. D:<
Have you used watercolour before? I find I use a similar approach with markers.
Anna: Noooo. How am I to draw you cute things if my eyes are exploded. *droops*

Huh Watercolour. I find watercolours easier to manage, but my lack of patience in waiting for the paint to try is my downfall. xD
*DIES FROM TOO MUCH LOVE*
I want Crowley and Aziraphale in a room with ducks. :O

Tori, stop eating on Ilya. There might be adverse side effects. :gonk:

Iro: Well, unless you have a big area, markers dry quite a bit faster than watercolour. xD The way you layer colour and use the white of the paper is similar, or so I've found.
... I would do that if I remembered what both looked like. *bricked too* it's been too long since I've read Good Omens. ; m;
Anna: You betcha. >;D
Tori: Ilya would probably consume your soul before he would admit to thinking of ever giving you a hug. Super powers, though... hm. Probably not. |D
Xuv: Ooo, thanks. *goes to look*
Anna is the expert, I can only imitate the master. ; m;

Well, most of my experiences of watercolour were in the Chinese paint style, which is so watery the water seeps through the paper.
I'm better at managing acrylics.
No need for reading! Their descriptions are just vague enough for people to work with. xD
Quote:
Aziraphale:
Most men form three impressions when they first see Mr. A. Ziraphale.
1. British
2. Gentleman
3. Gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide.
And a mite bit pudgy. xD
Crowley:
Who did not so much as Fall as saunter vaguely downwards.
Slimy, sleek, flash bastard. Black suit, methinks.
Sunglasses. Yellow snake eyes. About all. o.o

Anna: Teach me the way. ; O;
Xuv: Man, water-holding brushes are awesome and super convenient on the go. I wish I knew where mine were. ; m;
Hm, it seems the transparent set you linked me are basically the Koi line, but I guess for different markets they have different names and packaging. The 'mat' ones are still a mystery. I think they meant matte? They might just be super-pigmented watercolours. *hmms and wishes had bigger photos lolol*
Iro: homg The monkeys on nitrous oxide bit, how could I forget that. I'll whip up something for you, since you provided me with descriptions. ;D
Tori: He's... a fox spirit/shape-shifter/TRANSFORMER??? of a sort? Could probably eat a few villagers in one gulp if decided to transform into a monstrous fox creature.

Iro: Good Omens had a number of tea-nose-shooting lines, from what I remember. |D I wonder where my copy is...
Now I'm seeing some Mahler or Wagner music playing when he enters a room. *cannot unsee, Ilya is forever dorky now*
Anna: But my arms are so out-of-shape. Can't we start with something else, like... uh... toes?

it is like after reading it, it makes you 2 so happy.
Sarasvati~ But I am thinking about the so call convenient brush barrel, I will have to refill them if I want to apply different colours? Or should I get that many barrel for the many colours I will be using?

Wagner music! :drool:
I like one bit at the end... Lemme find it.
Quote:
Some police forces would believe anything. Not the Metropolitan police, though. The Met was the hardest, most cynically pragmatic, most stubbornly down-to-earth police force in Britain.
It would take a lot to faze a copper from the Met.
It would take, for example, a huge, battered car that was nothing more nor less than a fireball, a blazing, roaring, twisted metal lemon from Hell, driven by a grinning lunatic in sunglasses, sitting amid the flames, trailing thick black smoke, coming straight at them through the lashing rain and the wind at eighty miles per hour.
That would do it every time.
|
One of my all time favourite bits I could NEVER manage to draw out properly.
----------
I lost my first black covered copy of Good Omens. 2 years ago. T__T
I've just recently reacquired a white covered one and read it all over again. xD

Xuv: Oh! I thought you were talking just about the brushes, I forget they also sell those kinds of brushes with specific inks/paints in them. >_> I have a few water-barrel brushes; I just put water in them and there's no need to have a cup of water to use for colours (well, as long as you have a water fountain near if you run out of water in the barrel xD). You can fill them with the paint if you want, though, it makes them more like markers?
Tori: I never mentioned that? otl Yeah, he's a fox spirit lolol. In my story, the more powerful a spirit, the more complete their, ah, shape-shifting? That's why a lot of the spirits run around with cute ears, they're not at level 99+. :rofl:
Iro: You are really making me need to find my copy. *hopes it is in her room and not packed in a box*

Sarara~That sounds so much like markers than water colour. XD
And another advantage is that, you do not need to change the cup of water after a few dip.
heh, they have ordinary brush too? Sakura micron brand.

Xuv: The company's just Sakura~, the microns are their pen line? Yeah, they sell the water barrel brushes in three sizes, if I remember right. They're synthetic brushes, but the ones I had had a really nice tip, my painting teacher at my community college said they were my magic brushes, hahaha. xDD
