Zantarni is quiet but it is a very nice place if you give it a chance. I guess you just have to find niche there. As I said before, I'm a lurker so that's why the quietness doesn't bother me that much.

@Blaze: Yeah, I kinda figured. I know you and Scarz are admin's there but still have to bring things up to Alex to get a lot of things done.

@Jelly: Yeah, that is probably a big reason. I personally don't know how people do it. I had a bunch of raw materials stockpiled up and I was just trying to refine a bunch of them and nearly died of boredom D;

I actually like the site alot, I just hope it picks up sometime, so I can talk to some people more and enjoy the whole site.

ummm... because Zantarni has an *amazing* community of players, and because Zantarni has a new owner -one who is involved with and cares for the site...?

There have been many positive changes in the last month, and there are many, many things being planned and worked on for the overall improvement of the site.

Yes, there is also an event starting at Zantarni on Aug.14th (which should really be a lot of fun!), but there will also be pre-event things going on before then...

LOL - I don't exactly have a marketing spiel ready to go (although I probably should!), but I'm happy to help / give more information on the site -- I'm just not sure what you're looking for, and with an event starting at Zan in a couple days, my plate is rather full right now - most of my time is spent at Zantarni, to be honest (same username).

I'm happy to answer any questions you have, though.

I guess I was just thinking of general things about the site and what makes it different from other avatar forums.

I've been a member of Zan since almost the beginning. The previous two owners took on more than they could chew (IMHO), and just never really paid the site enough attention. But the theme was solid and the regulars devoted. This has culminated in one of those regulars (someone I've known for years) buying the site to hopefully do with it what it was meant for--to be a niche site amongst all of the "regular' forums. I love Mene, and even still have a fondness for Gaia, but neither really has a specific theme.

Give it a shot.

Eh, not to worry. I think those kind of rumors happen at a lot of these sites.

I like both sites about equally, the people on the sites like the same things have very nice personalities. The only thing about Zan is that not many people are on it unless an event is going on, same thing happens here though. I'm rarely on unless I have a break from school (such as currently), so I assume many other people have the same problem, they're busy with real life. I enjoy mene, but I also enjoy Zan. I think both sites are fine, as long as they don't get to the population level and greedy level of gaia I think things are good.

I have an account on that site. I don't really care for the training, stats and roleplay part of it. The bases look a bit off to me, but people are really nice there. As soon as I joined someone donated some gold to me and asked if I needed anything. I almost feel sorry to leave. Plus I like the name.

<_< Been kinda slow lately, but I guess that happens during the summer when people would prefer to be outside and stuff.

I love the community there regardless, it's nice to see a place with decent people and little (if any) e-drama.
