Bellatrix walked in and stood at Aurora's side, the look in here eyes when she saw Betelgeuse was everything but loving.She looked extremely angry, her sweet eyes staring at the king as if she was trying to rip him in half with her mind. "Hello, DEAR.I see you've missed me dearly.So nice to know that if I hadn't been blessed by a goddess to return from the dead, that no one would ever remember me.Such a kind husband."

Alnilam returned to his quarters and sat flush with the wall dividing his room from Myca's room and he sang a lullaby, just loud enough to hear through the wall.It was also a prayer, the same one that was embroidered into his robes.

Vega smiled and climbed up to Curry's bunk, managing to squeeze onto it with him. "My brother's ceremony was a success!The queen is alive, so is Aurora Borealis!Thank the goddess..My father gave me these.." He showed the glowig crystals on his hands to Curry. "They give me healing powers..With just a touch I can cure almost any wound within seconds, oh this is so wonderful, the magic I've alawys dreamed of, I finally have it!" He said softly, but oh so enthusiasticly, his face just bursting with happiness.

Betelgeuse laughed harshly, barely sparing them a glance, as he continued reading. "Figments of my imagination, both of you..."

Mycroft didn't seem to hear him. He was curled up under his blankets and pillows, very close to having a mental breakdown. It wasn't clear if he needed to be alone--or if it was even safe for him to be alone, for that matter.

"Good for you." Curry had his signature grin on his face.

"You always have been insane." Bellatrix said, taking Betelgeuse's book from him and nudging the king's chin harshly up. "Is THIS a figment of your imagination?Because me lovign you surely was. And by the way, sweet Myca isn't even your son, such a kind soul and such a talented, magical mind could never come from you..But who is the only other blonde man in the castle who is around my age and placing in the castle hiearchy..Hmm, surely not the handsome Archmage Aurora, it could never be him."

Alnilam got up and opened the door to Myca's room, worried about the prince. "Myca?..Are you alright?" He said, sitting beside the prince. "I can tell something is troubling you..As Archmage, my job is to be a wise, guiding mind for my king..And to me, you are my king..So..If you need to speak to me, don't be afraid to..Or if you just need comforting.I wouldn't want you to break down and start freaking out or something of that nature.."

"Ah, does anything ache on you or anything from your work today?(GUTTER MIND) I'd like to try it.." Vega said, seeming very very eager to help Curry with any acheing muscles from the various heavy things he had lifted during that day.

Betelgeuse's eyes narrowed. "In case you have forgotten, this is my castle." He extended his arm out, shoving her away. "This is my home. Get the hell away from me, you useless wench."

Mycroft curled up against the new company, still under his blankets. It did seem he needed comforting.

Curry's always-present gutter mind went bananas, but he cleared his throat. "Uh...I never get hurt while lifting, but...go for it. Anywhere's fine..."

"I think any of the servants would say otherwise. Did you also either make servants out of or banish my family?My sisters, my cousins and aunts, and my nieces?If so you truly are a heartless tyrant." Bellatrix said, before smacking Betelgeuse as hard as she could and walking off, trying to find any servants that would have remembered her.

Alnilam smiled and got under the covers with Myca. He had removed the shackles and pendant, so now he was just in those gorgeous robes. He cuddled up against Myca, like a comforting parent or older sibling. "It's alright, Myca.."

Vega almost squealed in excitement and planted his hands right on Curry's chest. "Do you feel it?" He said excitedly, his eyes glowing the same soft, holy white light as the crystals.

Mycroft clung to him, closing his eyes. He felt a bit more secure, now.

Curry bit down the gutter-oriented part of his mind and nodded, amused. "I do. Your eyes look quite pretty in that color, by the way."

Aurora Borealis left teh room wihtout a word, and as he left, chains wrapped around both sides of the door's handles with a lock with no key, and the windows became unable to open.

Alnilam held Myca tightly. Fall asleep..I won't leave you before you wake..And..I trust you now, enough to tell you this..My name..My name is Alnilam.Only call me by it when we are completely alone.."

Vega blushed, and his crystals turned pink. "Ah..Thank you..Does it feel good?"

Betelgeuse didn't seem to mind. Surely the servants that were loyal to him would find him sooner or later...

Mycroft nodded, and easily fell into a much-needed slumber.

Curry chuckled. "Yeah, it does..."

In the servants' quarters, there was commotion because of what had occurred above--they'd all felt a strange pulse of magic, though they couldn't identify it. So, there were servants running around all over the place.

The Archmage softly hummed, and eventually fell asleep as well, with Myca so close that the prince would be able to feel his heartbeat.

Vega smiled cutely. "That's great!Come to me if you ever get hurt.." He said, putting his hands over Curry's lungs. "Thought so. Open your mouth, please.." He said, gently opening Curry's mouth amd pulling up a bunch of odd looking spores from the other servant's lungs. "Forest mushrooms. You would have woken up begging for soup and my medicne." he chuckled. "These spores brought down a former archmage for almost a month, he was bedridden for two of those weeks..And I had to care for him.Not fun."

The queen--or former queen, at this point-- and her magically-gifted lover went down to the servant quarters, and the queen smiled as she saw the servants that were all ina commotion about the pulse of magic. "Hello..Did you miss me?"

Curry shrugged. "Getting out of work sounds heavenly right about now...I'm tired of it..." he muttered, laying back in his bunk and stretching himself out. "I could really use a bigger bed." His feet dangled off the end of his bunk.

The servants paused and stared, open-mouthed, for a moment before flooding on her. Through all the greetings, there was only one that didn't smother the queen--a (possibly seemingly) young man, who lingered behind the crowd.

"You're so good at it though, sometimes I don't know how any of us survive without your strength." Vega giggled, laying down on Curry's chest. "You do need a bigger bed--so I can fit, too!"

The queen laughed and hugged a good portion of them. "I missed you all..You've been taking good care of my son, I assume?" She giggled softly. "Borealis is back as well..And he's back to the sweet man he once was."

Aurora's cheeks went a bit red."Ah..I am sorry if I was ever harsh on any of you. Forgive me.."

In the back, Altair stood alongside the other young man, not joining in because he had already known of her return. "Why do you not join in?Are you too young to remember her?"

"I do enough work around here...I've earned a bigger bed," Curry grunted, wiggling his toes. "Maybe I could bother Myca about it..." The casual way in which he addressed Mycroft was strange...

"I was four when she died," the man mused. "I remember her. I just don't want to get involved with the crowd. I'll wait till they've settled down--I'm not getting caught in the stampede..." He had a slightly, only slightly, African accent.

"..Why do you call Prince Mycroft that? Are you just friends, or should I worry about competition?" Vega said, seeming to be joking, but the look in his eyes seemed worried.He had heard of curry's nature, but he still couldn't help but hope that he would stay with him, that he would be interesting enough to keep Curry with him.

"Ah..I am surprised you can remember back that far..I was a teenager, my brother was a child, and my other brother was still with Father, in the forests..MI don't remember my real parents, but my adoptive father was the Archmage before Aurora Borealis, he taught Borealis how to use magic in the first place..When he fell in love with a servant girl, he ran away with her to the forests to save their child from not being able to learn magic, by being born with servant's blood, but she died giving birth to my brother..He is now our archmage..When the archmage was a teenager, Sadal Melik found me in the forests, wandering without any memory of anything with my baby brother in my arms, both of us crying, scared and hungry..He took us in, gave us names..Then when we grew he sent us here, the visions he saw showing him what our futures were..He didn't want us to be miserable, but he knew Vega would have me..Vega is all I have of whatever life I had before my father, before this place..My name is Altair..Vega is resting with his lover, I think.." Altair said, sounding bitter when he came to the word 'lover'.

"Myca's my best friend," Curry muttered, curling up slightly. He felt tired. "So, I call him Myca..."

"I'm Algernon. Algie, for short," the man greeted. "I don't have an interesting life story to tell you, unfortunately. I come from a faraway land, is all..."

"Ah.." Vega said, sighing lightly in relief. "Ah..Can I sleep with you? Or is this too uncomfortable.." He blushed. "You're just so warm.."

"Nice to meet you..I do too..But..If what father taught me is true, my home and my culture is long gone..There aren't many like me left..Even less females. Luckily our magic allows two males to have a child, but we can't just create us a new population like that, unfortunately.A lot of us are either feared or kept from performing magic..Same thing I guess. I've been able to build up mine in secret.." Altair said, creating a small ball of fire in his hand which floated and danced.

Curry wrapped his arms around him, pulling him a bit closer. "Fine with me...settle down."

"Wish I could use magic," Algie muttered wistfully. "I'm about as magically talented as a rock, I'm afraid. My people were labeled as savages, and heavily persecuted. Exterminated. We're shape-shifters." Algie glowed a white light, and then morphed into a cheetah, sitting beside Altair.

Vega smiled very, very happily and got himself comfortable alongside Curry. "Night..I..love you.." He said the last part very very quietly, like taht mattered when they were so close.

"I'd call that magic..My brother has a couple of shapeshifting cats, I wonder if our homes were close, to have similar things like that..Unless Deneb and Baten are really of your kin." Altair said, looking over Algernon's body, seeming quite amazed by him."Is that all you can transform into, or can you be anything you wish?"

Curry, who couldn't quite say that yet, patted his head and held him. He would say it when he ws ready--he did like him, of course...

"I can change into just about anything, but this and my human form are my normal forms," Algie responded, tail swishing back and forth animatedly.

Vega dozed off, before he could even realize that Curry hadn't responded to what he said.

"I'm surprised you can speak like that..Unless you're doing it in my mind like Deneb Kaitos and Baten Kaitos do, then I'm going to start to look crazy to teh other servants, unless they kjnw you can do that." Altair laughed.

"I've always been able to speak while changed," Algie informed him, puzzled. "I had to learn how to do it, but I certainly can do it."

"The Kaitos brothers can only meow, but they can speak english through their minds..There's Baten now, actually.."

Baten, the grey cat, walked up through the halls and purred, standing in front of Algernon. "Someone was talking about me?"

"Yes, actually..This is Algernon." Altair smiled, leaning down and petting Baten.

Baten purred, and lightly bowed his head to Algie. "Pleasure. I am Baten Kaitos.I came for my brother Deneb..He is somewhere within that corwd, last place I saw him was with a female servant, in the form of a small lizard.Have you seen him?"

(Deneb's such a ladies' man, he's probably still with that servant girl. XD

"I don't bother with the female servants--go and have a look around," Algie informed him, amused when a nearby female servant shuffled away from his cheetah form with fear in her eyes. "I suppose this isn't the best form for inside use..."

"That's why I like this one..I'm actually a tiger, so is Deneb." The cat said, stopping the female servant when he saw a little white tail between her breasts, by touching her foot gently, he meowed up at her and Deneb jumped out, and turned back into a kitten.

"There you are!It's very warm in there but she almost crushed me!" Deneb said, before noticing Algie. "Oh hallo!I didn't know there were others like us in the castle!" He said happily, waving his tail curiously.

"Hello there." Algie looked much like a normal cheetah...but he had warm, honey gold eyes. "I'm Algernon..." He seemed a little off-put for some reason by Deneb's action. Not a fan of the ladies, apparently.

The kitten purred. "I'm Deneb!Deneb Kaitos, actually, but you can call me Deneb." The little white cat nodded, his voice had a childish charm to it. "Are you human, or is that your normal form?I don't like going into my normal form, people stare.."
