Raien smiled. "It's a topic to discuss alone, I'm afraid. Unless you trust Drake to keep quiet for a while, of course." He sipped at his tea.

Kilyo blew on her tea a little. "Why do you say you have no nice people? There has to be some at least."

Katie nodded and took his hand,walking into the hallway and shutting the den door."What?"She asked.

Drake shook his head."They used to be nice people.."

Princess kiki was not the shy one in the family princess nina is the one that is shy and wish she could leave the family and wishes to be in love and be taken from this place as well "I wish someone could take me away from here." She starts to cry.

"Used to be? What changed?" Kilyo took a sip of her tea, enjoying the warmth.

Raien smiled a little. "It's just an idea, so you can say no. I was thinking, remember, its just an idea, that you and I could get married. That way, you can rule your kingdom the same you have always done while I rule mine and nobody can complain that you have nobody to take things over if something should happen to you. And if you don't end up loving me or you can't, I am perfectly fine with just being friends and letting you do as you please. We could just use the marriage for appearances." Raien waited for her verdict, uncomfortably aware of his hand still holding hers.

"Thats a great idea!"She said and hugged him."Thank you!And if you want to you can divorce me as soon as Alexander turns twenty..Oh thank you."She said and kissed his cheek."Your a life saver."She said and then grinned."I told you,your good with the ladies."She laughed.Even though she just met him..she was excited to be getting married."When should the wedding be?"She asked,leaning against the wall.

"They were all very nice people until the king died..then they started getting ticked off easily and shit.."

Raien shrugged, not showing that he didn't really like that she said that about getting a divorce. "Whenever it is nessacary. You can pick the date. I was thinking we could have it on the border of our two lands. Theres this spot I know of that is very green all year round, with the perfect weeping willow canopy that I think would make a good place to do the ceremony." He thought to himself, And I'm not good with the ladies. I'm marrying one that probably doesn't even like me!

Kilyo frowned, holding the cup in her lap, her eyes a little sad. "People normally do things like that when dealing with grief. Patience is needed to deal with that type of reaction. Everyone does something different." She looked down. "I am sure they are nice still, underneath the hostility that grief has a tendency to cause.

Katie blushed."It sounds beautiful.."She said and took his hand again."Hmm..when do you want to get married?She asked,enterwining their fingers."Oh and maybe since were getting married..we should get to know each other better."She said,looking at him.He was handsome, kind, sweet and seemed to be funny. She was trying her hardest not to like him but she wasn't suceeding.

Drake nodded."They made a big deal out of everything because...well don't get me wrong..the king was a great guy..they just kinda panicked now that he's gone."

Raien looked at their hands, liking how they fit. He looked up at her and smiled just a little. "I agree but I suppose we could let that wait until morning. It is getting late. We can discuss dates then too, if you would like. Oh! We should probably discuss times when we come stay with each other here and in my land so that our people know that it's really true."

Kilyo nodded. "That's pretty normal. Though they still have Queen Katie, so I don't understand how theres much of a problem with the managing of the kingdom. A ruler is still in place and from what I've gathered, she is a good one."

She smiled and kissed his lips softly."Would you like me to show you to your room? Since you've been so generous you could always stay in mine if you want.."She said quietly and looked up at him."Maybe being married to you won't be that hard.."She said with a small blush."Yea...we can discuss everything in the morning."

Drake nodded." Katies a great leader..I guess they just think shes nothing without her husband.It's getting late..would you like me to take you to your room?"He asked with a yawn.

Raien looked geniunely surprised. "I..." He barely managed to get his voice back. "I think maybe I should have my own room for now. Until we announce it in anycase. Does that seem fair?" His head was wheeling from the affect of her kissing him again.

Kilyo sighed. "They should be shown something then. I believe you don't need a man to be somebody." She sighs and drank down the rest of her tea, not bothering to be dainty. She stood, straightening her skirts. "That might be for the best. You look tired." She smiled.

She nodded and led him up the steps."You know..you don't have to do this."She said, hoping he would since she actually liked him. "But your one of the only guys I actually care for in this whole kingdom..even if I barely know you..your a great guy."She said with a small smile and led him into a blue and black room with a blue and black bed,everything looked like it had diamonds on it."We have rooms like these all over the house..the hearts one is the weirdest."She laughed."Your sisters room will be right next to yours."

Drake smiled."I feel tired.."He said and took her hand,leading her up the steps."The butler will get the cups in the morning..I should know since I'm the butler."He grinned and led her past Katie and the king and into her room."Night Milady."He said and bowed to her.

Raien smiled at her. "Thank you, I like the color scheme." He turned to her and held her hands in his. "Katie, believe it or not, I want to do this. Your beautiful, intelligent, and I like being with you. And I think it would be best for you if we did this. Even if you didn't like me, I would still suggest it so that you can still rule your kingdom without any fear for your people. Forgive me for this." He took her face in his hands and kissed her, savoring the moment.

Kilyo smiled slightly, pulling him up from the bow. "Don't bow to me and call me Kilyo. I'm only a princess and don't like to be treated as such in any case. I will see you in the morning, Drake Vladimir of Spade." She backed into her room and gently shut the door just before Raien kissed the queen, missing it. She turned and looked around the room, actually a little happy. She frowned. Did I make a friend other then Fresla?
