So I have this problem. It's called procrastination. I have to come up with a 5 page word project for my EDT 321 class which is due at midnight, and I only just started it. And that's not even my only problem. I have work in about an hour and a half and I won't get home for another 8 hours after that. I still have to finish my research and get everything written out and super formatted and include all these features in word and write up my works cited. Wish I could take my computer to work and have wifi so I could get it done during slow periods.

Well, you could take a notebook with you and write some then. Typing up something you've already written takes much less time than coming up with it in the first place. If you need to do more research before you can even do that, print out some pages that look like they'll be extra helpful, maybe?

I can't recall if you have a smartphone or not, but if you do, you could also bookmark some good research-related sites on that as well. Of course typing an essay on your phone would be a royal pain, so it'd still be best to write, but then you'd have unlimited information.

I have an iPhone, and I've actually written essays on it before while sitting in class with a dead laptop battery. But we're not allowed to have our phones at work. They watch us on camera and we get in trouble if we're on them.

I've already printed out my stuff and grabbed some paper so I'm just going to do it by hand while I'm there.

On a completely unrelated note, I've been talking in a Texas accent all day today for some reason. Or at least it sounds like Texas coming out of my mouth. And also, time to get ready for work. You guys converse a bit more today. I want to see this on page 10 by the time I get home. Or, if we can get to page 15, I'll give the first poster on 15 the new June CI! : )

@Seiki: Yikes, I hate when you get stuck writing a paper at the last minute. I got pretty good at BSing papers, but I regret it now. It's hard for me to remember a lot of what I learned. Trying to cram all of those dates and names in for test time has ensured that now my memory is a jumbled mess. :gonk: But that's probably less of an issue for your majors. In my case a big portion involved studying ancient history.

I only crammed in subjects that hardly mattered......like for me....history was only a gen ed.

I crammed for stuff that I didn't think mattered - like the random gen eds I had to take D: XD To be honest - at one point I was taking 11 classes a semester - some of the stuff just didn't seem that important compared to others XD

my school refused to let me do more then 6 classes which was 19 credits o.0

That semester almost killed me......I was also working 3 jobs at the time.

Yeah I wanted to pull my hair out to be honest. i have a hard time saying no so I worked in college, was on the executive board on like 3 different clubs, and was taking all those classes...i was so stressed all the time!
