I'm nearly done my post and mene's working! XD

I'm so happy Mene is back up I miss it so much. I was bored with only a few things to do sighs. sometimes I miss being in school only cause. I got to hang out with my friends and I had choir class to keep me busy. with learning a new song aw I miss it so much.

I don't want to be out of school. the real world is a scary place. you have to get a JOB!

*shudders* It's not just scary, it's terrifying!

I graduate in december! with an art degree of all things.

yeah. or at least one can hope that. my plan was always too get published as a writer while still in school, but I never started trying until recently, so I guess that won't happen. I wanted to get ahead of the curve, but I think I'm actually behind it...

Heck getting a job is hard as hell even if you don't know how to drive. I had a few jobs before but the last one I had. I did not like it all to much. I even tried to get a job at the new petsmart. I even babysat my next door neighbors dog for a week.

there's no good places to work in houston really. especially if you don't want to drive downtown. I might stay in santa fe over the summer and get a job in a gallery or hell, the hobby lobby here!

Ah, I've always wanted to get published ... But at the moment I just don't have story good enough, and I have no clue where to send my stuff.

the idea is to start sending stuff before you actually think you're good. Try Writer's of the Future contest. most lit magazines take unsolicited entries. The Scify/fantasy magazine has really low standards from what I've read of them, so maybe that's a place you might have a shot with.

I'll be happy once the build target,chick fil a and the Izzo's around here. that means I can try get a job with one of them maybe. not sure when they are going to build it. but sometime around this time next year. they will be building a movie theater by the new blowing ally.

Wingsy used to work at a chick fil a. she liked it. I guess she's a pretty big fan of the food.

I think I might have seen it once or twice, but I never knew what kind of stories they wanted ..

I have about two years worth of the issues. of course, I read maybe 5 of the issues. but there was a lot of paranormal stories, shitty futuristic sci-fi, not much fantasy though on they're website they say they get twice as many fantasy stories sent to them as sci-fi. But yeah, magazines will take anything good.

And I write fantasy, lots of fantasy ... It's my favorite genre.

yeah. but you could try submitting that and see what happens. I never read much of the magazines anyway.

I still need to work on my stories, and pick one I think they might like.

You can do it just give it your best when your read. to send them a storie that you think mighty knock there socks off. I'd all ways like fantasy stories my self. if you need someone to read your stories please let me know. I help one of my friends with a fanfic storie of hers before. but at least it was somewhat original to say it was pretty darn good.

Well actually, I already have a few people that read them. Or will be anyway, once I can get a hold of them.
