Wow. In terms of video game consoles, mine are ancient relics. I grew up playing the 1985 "box" nintendo. Sometime in middle school someone acquired one for me at a yard/garage sale, and it's at my biological mother's house. I play Tetris, Bubble Bobble, Mario, Mario 3, and Duck Hunt with the orange gun on it.

The first console I owned was a sega genesis, and I had a shitton of games for it. I gave them to a family who was more poor than my mom and I in middle school... one mother with four children and no child support. Gave them the console, controllers, and all my games, and they broke it within a week's time.

I also have the Super NES which I covet. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the seven stars was the very first RPG I ever played. I still love the music from it. I also kick amazing butt at Mario Kart, the original. I've had a couple of brave souls consider challenging me to "Strip Mario Kart".

I also own an N64, but I skipped out on the Nintendo Gamecube because nothing about it impressed me. At that point I was however impressed by the Playstation 2. Not only could it play up to date games, but it had backwards compatibility for PS One games (which was novel at the time), AND it could play DVDs, so it was a triple score.

Now, Nintendo has once again impressed me with the Wii, but I haven't that much money laying around, and when I do have money, it gets sucked away immediately by rent, bills, car insurance, student loan repayment, etc.

I'm still very childlike in my head (I have LEGOs!), but when I am reminded that I am an adult... it is usually not a pleasant feeling. Bill collectors should do us all a favour, tie their ankle to a nice large rock, and go drown themselves in the nearest sizeable body of water.

One thing is for certain, these charity threads are far more active then any other forum I've been in (save the exchange of course. Haha)

I'm merely trying to save up for a pair of jeans @ 450 gold. I fear a lawsuit may be coming my way if I subject you all to my day-glow legs much longer.

@meatballhead - you're more dressed than I am. Haha. I'm saving up... what for I have no idea. I'm trying to buy this months CI's in the Exchange, but no one seems to want to sell them :( But I suppose if no one does I'll have all this extra gold to hang onto for the Halloween event. I heard a event store opens up. I'm rather interested to see what they have (and be able to buy them).

and the layering is so free on this. that the colour balance is fun to get with all these items.

Back to the account you linked to, I think some of the photo's are really nice and others seem, excuse my blunt-ness, amaturistic. But every photographer, no matter what level always gets shot like that.

Well, in 3 days i seemed to earn 1k. And that was a busy 3 days already. So in total id guess i wasnt online more than mabey 9 hours total. So mabey a week or two i should have my quest.

Amaturistic just means they look like they were done by an amateur -basically someone who does something for a hobby rather than profession and usually doesn't have the same level of skill as someone who make a profession out of whatever the skill is.

I'm not saying they're bad, I'm just saying some of the photo's are not as good as others. My personal opinion though.

Yep, and i dont mind not having it either. Really i didnt mind being nekkid the past 3 days. I like this site more than just for the avatar and teh gold. Rather than gaia, all i like is the avi and gold >.<

@ Sk8er - Haha. Gaia is only good for the avatar's and gold. All the games suck. Fishing is glitched out the wazoo, you can't play zOMG by yourself because the bosses are impossible, but forming a crew takes an eternity and a half, cards and jigsaw are boring to play for more than 10 minutes and Rally is just useless, you can't make any money off it and scriptors are super annoying in it and towns.

At least here, everything you can do is fun and the avatars look nice even without clothing XD Our nickers are nice and white, unlike on Gaia.... Man, I remember when peasant cloths were the starter items for everyone. Haha.

@ Apple - everyone needs a hobby :) And photography is always fun.

Haha yea. I actually liked peasant clothes D: Go Gaia was pretty nice. Not gaia online.. Once they changed there name it went down hill from there.

No, I agree. I've been a member of Gaia since 2003, the name change I think happened when they started going cooperate, which has inevitably lead to their decline in my eyes. They just don't care about the users like they used to.

They care about there money. Not the users.. Thats why i like small sites. They care about the users.
