Just have the outline be wavy. It's real simple.
But make sure your lines aren't all swiggly.

Most of my dolls have wavy hair. They aren't super good but it might help you get a
feel to how to go at wavy hair.

Not really. It's fairly simple.
Look up hairstyles and see how it goes and try to do one hair style with
your doll or project etc.
