EXACTLY! It's the stupidest thing ever. I'm pretty sure it's designed that way by the printer people to force you to buy ink even if you don't really use it often.

Yeaah, or when your printer won't print a black and white document because it's low on cyan ink...

yes it was hubby. My toddler broke his glasses when she as about three months old. She got ahold of them and pulled them off his head just kind of snapping them apart. xD

Toddlers and glasses are not a good mix.

she was an infant than. but yeah. my glasses are never safe from her now.

Also, glasses are not a good idea when dealing with large birds. We had to remove every shiny piece of anything on us when we were taking care of the ostrich at vet school. Or else risk having to do night watches until the item that she invariable ate came out.

Haha, yeah. She was a funny girl, but not all that bright. And the shinies were just completely irresistible. But I felt real bad for the people with glasses. Going into a bird enclosure blind has to feel weird.

It would be pretty disconcerting. Especially since before you're sent in with her, you're informed about exactly how dangerous ostriches are. But then she turns out to be the dumbest, sweetest bird ever.
