If it annoys you when people do this with their dogs, too, we can team up and boof other sister into a wall with our all-natural fros.

I have owned cats most of my life, but I don't recall talking about them very much until after they had passed on...though I truly had a few cats worth talking about! ....like the one cat that always wanted to be on the other side of a closed door, and when he got there and the door was closed again, he wanted to be on the other side AGAIN! Lol! That cat lost an eye when he was pretty old (we suspect that a "friend" accidentally kicked him in the face), but that cat could still catch mice with only one eye!
I did co-own one dog in my lifetime, and I could brag about her for days! ...but I won't! Lol!

Kitteh always finds the most interesting gifts.

We had a cat years ago, it left a dead mouse under my pillow once.

Yeah, any time someone constantly talks about their pets or their child... it's annoying! >.<
I can handle it for a little while, but once every day the conversation is, "Look what my baby did today!" or "OMG, my cat... he just..." NO. SHUT UP ABOUT IT.

With any conversation topic, no matter how enjoyable you find it, you're going to want to talk about other things eventually. You can't grow a friendship on one common interest. You can plant a friendship with one common interest, but other common interests will water that seed into a big and beautiful friendship. Otherwise, it's more of a partnership, you see? You meet to talk about that one thing and that's it.
Even I tire of talking about cats. Even Ava tires of talking about babies.

Lately, it feels like there is non-stop talk about cats and babies... I LOVE babies, I work with them, I want to have my own, I LOVE LOVE LOVE babies...
But I get so sick of hearing about the same baby every day... And hearing what that baby did or something. It gets so old! Like, seriously? You're life is that boring that you literally have NOTHING else to talk about but the baby? Or the cat?!

"How's the weather today?"
"Oh, you know, my cat is scared of snow so..."
"What time is it?"
"It's time to feed my cat!"
"What should we do today?"
"Oh, well, I wanted to buy some toys for my cat..."
