Sometimes that is exactly what games like that are perfect for!

That's true! I loved playing Animal Crossing for that reason. It's so peaceful and chill.

Lately I've been playing Tales of Symphonia, which isn't exactly brainless....but this is like my dozenth time playing it so it also kinda is

Ooh, that's a nice game! I never played it myself but I always loved the game art.

I adore all the Tales games, Symphonia and Legendia are my favs though so I have played them a lot

They are so so so long though. AND in order to get 100% you have to play 2-3 times to completion but I still love them

I watched a friend of mine play back in high school. It seemed like a good game for sure I just never ended up picking it up myself.

Hahahaha, I get that though. You know how many games are sitting on my self that I will "get to someday" but yet here I am playing a game I've played a dozen times before

lol I love the Tales series! What's funny is that the only Tales game I've completed was a crossover game called Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology on the PSP. I'm in the middle of Tales of Arise currently. But I'd love to continue my playthrough of Tales of Legendia, Tales of Zestiria, Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Phantasia, and Tales of Vespiria... I love the characters and the worlds and the animation.... Can't believe how many I've started... orz

I do love me some JRPGs! I especially liked Atlus games back in the day. I never did finish my Ar Tonelico 2 game... Back in high school I had a friend and we used to hang out and watch each other play games. It was more fun that way. I just don't have the time to sit down and devote to games anymore which is very sad. My ADHD also has me popping around from one thing to another so fast I never manage to finish what I start and then I feel guilty for abandoning things.

Yeah, I think it really helps when I have someone to play with or watch me play~ Lately I have Hadsie watch through Facetime on my ipad while I play games. XD

Sounds like me with art and books and video games. orz

The reason I am playing Symphonia is because I decided to go on the crazy quest to finish all the Tales games to 100%. Anyone who has ever tried this will tell you its a grueling task. Symphonia alone you have to play 3 times to even hope to get 100%

I love the setting of Tales of Arise. The male mc is a really cool character too. I haven't gotten far but it's basically a story of one planet's people trying to free themselves from the ruling of an oppressive other planet's people. The female mc is from that other planet and seems to have escaped from a fancy life she didn't want. It's rather intriguing so far. I rather like it.

Cool! Good luck! I'm very much a completionist too and I hate when I miss out on things so I like to follow a walkthrough/guide so I don't miss out on things on my first playthrough. XD I think I've started Symphonia two times on both the ps2 and ps3 and never continued. XP I'm still contemplating getting the switch version too...

That sounds...painful. I'm a semi-completionist in that I will do my utmost to get as much as I possible can but I'm not going to drive myself to the point of insanity.

There's this one game called Summon Knight that I quite enjoyed but if you wanted to complete it you had to limit break all of the major enemies to get their special crafting parts but those combats were so hard I could barely make it through let alone do the special limit breaking thing so I gave up on that part. But I did do a hella lot of fishing to get all the other components you could get through buying from the special fishing shop lol.

It stresses me out to call a game finished if I don't complete it. So often times it goes in my "I'll finish it someday" pile. I have completed Kingdom hearts to 100% in all of its games though, that's why I moved onto tales

I have so many unfinished games it frustrates me. But then when I go to pick them up it takes me ages to remember where I was going and what I was doing and how to play. I really need to just sit down and play through one game at a time. But that probably won't happen soon given the number of books I'm also reading at the same time.

Books should be given the higher priority always >.>

I really want to try to finish reading some of the things I'm in the process of reading to get my "currently reading" list a bit more under control.

Well I did manage to finish two that are on my list! I had an audiobook that I crossed off the other day and I just finished the French book I was reading so I'm feeling accomplished about that, lol!
