* Sy suddenly realizes she can hear sounds of construction coming from the soon-to-be hot tub room, though she could swear it was silent a moment ago and she didn't see anyone walk past *

aslaina got up and stretched a bit. "well, as long as i'm here i suppose i should try to earn my keep." at that she walked over to the kitchen door, knocked three times, and then let herself in."hello, any chance you might need some help?" she cringed, excpecting the rejection that always hurt more than any blow.

Alana went to her room and after sleeping the night away woke up totally refreshed. She took a nice hot shower and then went to the bar to get some breakfast. She noticed someone had already awaken. She went up to the cat and smiled "Hello Mr. Kitty. Havent seen you here." She stroked his back.

Anora woke up with a start. "Oh, how foolish of me" she told herself. "I never even asked her name."

She pulled herself out of bed, cast a quick glance at the black duffel, and a slow smile creeped across her face.

As she came downstairs, she hopped two and three stairs at a time. As she reached the bottom, she stopped as she saw the cat curled up in front of the fireplace. She walked over and sat next to it and Alana. "Morning Sy. Sleep well?" She glanced past Sy to Alana "Morning to you as well... um..." she looked at her for a name.

"Alana. What do you mean good morning Sy?" She looked at her a moment and then at the cat she was petting. "Let me guess she can turn into a cat?" She stopped petting the cat and stared the girl "And your name is?"

Anora smiles. "It's Anora, and it looks like she can. As a Knight, I have a sixth sense towards supernatural beings. The best way to describe it to you would be this cat FEELS like Sy, and in my experiance it probably is... though it could just be her familiar." Anora rolls her eye. "Then I'd feel silly, cause I just called Sy's cat Sy."

She looks over and spots Aslaina, and waves to her, then she looks back at Alana. "huh, Anora and Alana. Got a lot of A's at this Inn, don't we... and what is that noise?" she finishes, looking around for the sound of construction.

aslaina sees anora and waves back. she walks over to them, "as i recall, at least two of the guests here have the ability to turn into cats." she looks at anora, "but your right, this one does feel like miss- er, Sy was it?"

Anora nods. "Oh, and I don't think I caught your name last night, either. Mine's Anora, and this is Alana."

* The sounds of construction suddenly stop, and the door opens. Cal walks out, rather sweaty and covered in grease and sawdust. He looks around the room, gives a working smile and wipes his brow. *

"Nothing like a good hour or so of manual labor to start the day. And nothing like a good breakfast to follow that up... What do we have to eat around here?"

Alana smiled "nice to meet you anora." SHe saw some guy walk in and looked at him hard "Um who are you and why in the world would you do construction on an inn that isent even yours?"

*notices everyone* "Oh hey! I'm Cal, and I'm building a hot tub. I always make a point to repay good hospitality, and all the mundane chores were taken." *smiles* "And whom do I have the pleasure of meeting this morning?"

Anora blinked twice. "Anora. This is Alana and Aslaina. I assume you already got permission to build this thing."

Zake and Kliff came down and Zakewent to the kitchen turning to ask, "What does any one want for breaky?"

Kliff started to play a quite tune for those just waking up.

"Oh yeah, Sy was all over the idea. Pleasure to meet you all." *calls after Zake* "As long as it's got some kind of meat and some kind of egg I'll eat it and enjoy it!"

Anora turned to Zake "Some Bacon cooked in syrup, and an Egg Sunny-side-up, and an Orange Juice." She stands up and starts walking towards the bar. "If that's not to much to ask." She glances back at Cal. "Well, as long as you have permission, let me know when it's done."

*Wipes his forehead, unintentionally making it dirtier* "Will do. I'm gonna go wash up for breakfast." *wink, smile* "See ya around." *jogs upstairs*

calls to zake," want any help?" she smiles brightly to kliff ," i'd to speak with you later on sir." turning to Cal, she extends her hand, " i am pleased to meet you as well , mr. cal."

* Cal's voice comes down from upstairs *

"I'll shake your hand once mine's a bit cleaner! Be down in a minute!" *sound of water running*

she smiles even though the sound of water nearly causes a flashback that feels worse than any nightmare.

Anora sits on a stool and glances at Kliff. "If I might, do you mind a request? Keiko Matsui's 'Light Above the Trees" would be wonderful this morning."

"I got it all brb soon comrades" Zake called

Kliff switched music and walked to the kitchen to cheer on Zake.

* Cal comes jogging back down the stairs, his clothes somehow clean too though it's obviously the same outfit. *

"Pleased to meet you... Aslaina, was it?" *shakes her hand with firm respect* "So what's your story?"

tabitha stood in the middle of the front room her eyes flashing. she hopped from one foot to the other unsure of what to say. her ears twitched and she grabbed onto her tail.

Sy just watched all the commontion with a smile on her kitty lips. The Inn was populated, people where happy, Thats all that mattered.

Alana went to the bar and sat down "I'll have a salad. Its all I ever eat. With fish on it if possible." She grinned at everyone else. "Sorry Its just what I perfer to eat. And dont try making small talk. Im not that talkative." She turned and faced the bar table ignoreing everyone there.
