Hana smiled at the outburst that Kaito made and giggled, watching the reaction that the man was making. Then she kicked Kaito in the shin and said quietly, "Thank you, I hope you have a pleasant day sir. Kaito, you should really calm down. One of these days, your mouth is going to get you into a world of trouble. Maybe we should just get our food and go. What I mean is it's getting late out and I don't want my mom to pop a vein." She shrugged at the thought of it, shivering and gathered her things.

OOC: That's great, Cassie. Thanks for helping out. Now everybody that is left wandering around, end you day and then we'll be able to start the next one, finally! lol.

Kaito shrugged and picked his food up, slipping past the angered owner, who was still to scared to do anything, "Guess I'll catch you tomorrow then." He said, waving to Hana and then darted off in the opposite direction, Tenshi barking happily as she ran in front of him. Home, food, and sleep. Definitely a good idea he thought as he landed in front of the Inuzuka compound. Now to avoid his dad and Akamaru for the rest of the night...

OOC: Great...so Hana and...is anyone else still up?

OOC: Hana's in bed and I think everyone has been put to bed except um ... Lexi and Sano I think.

Hana waved back at Kaito and his canine companion, running through the village to get home. She passed the Academy and a couple of other familiar businesses that were merely blurs as she continued to her destination. As she finally reached her family's home, she was met up by her father, Neji, who was leaning against the gates, "Hana ... hurry inside before your mother finds out you are just getting in. It won't do if she's yelling at me and you for coming in at this time of night." Hana opened her mouth and closed it, smiling that her father was letting her off the hook this one time. She launched herself at him and hugged his torso to show her appreciation. She let go after a few seconds and rushed to her room quietly, placing the food on her desk and falling onto her bed to sleep.

OOC: So, umm..Lexi and Sano seem to be still up...or did I just miss something when I was looking through them just now? And did Haru-kun ever go to bed or is he sleeping on the roof? O_o' Either is fine...just trying to get my bearings so I can start off my characters and the NPCs.

Sano walked with Lexi into the woods. "They said its where herds of deer live. Let's look around for some deer around here." Sano said. A few minutes later they finally found the Nara clan building where Shikaharu layed on the rooftop. "Ya know, he looks sound asleep. Let's leave him until tomorrow." Sano said.

Shineji drew his knees up close, bracing his back against the wall of the hollow tree trunk, as he triple-checked his traps before risking some sleep. He'd sent a bird to Konoha after Malai-sensei opened the last gate, but he wasn't sure who they could spare to send. Most of the other chuunin teams were out doing the same thing Team 4 had been, investigating the rumors of ninja with no affiliation, not even the hitai-ate of a missing nin. Damn. Shinobi rule: "A shinobi must see underneath the underneath"; with no insignia, they hadn't appeared to be a real threat, not until it was too late, and now there were three hitai-ate in his pack that shouldn't be there. He alone had survived the ambush; in a vicious irony he couldn't appreciate, he hadn't gotten more than a scratch across the cheekbone. Malai-sensei had taken most of their attackers out after they killed Kira and Jin. He'd accounted for the last two himself after she died, but when he burned the bodies, ten more had popped out of the woods and he gotten a fuuma shuriken to the left calf, hamstringing him. He managed to get away long enough to send the bird, but now he had no choice but to hole up here and hope he could survive until help arrived. He swiped at his eyes. Shinobi rule 25: A shinobi must never show tears. Well there was no one here to see him. He fell into an uneasy sleep with the taste of salt on his lips.

OOC: No, Ninja hasn't been awol for very long so she's fine. I am going to go ahead and end this day and assume Lexi and Sano made it home and to bed. Mecheo is back so she can have her character back. I'm adding a new rule to the opening post. If you go missing without giving notice for more than 3 days, I will assign your character to another player until you return. The thread will go stagnant if we have people missing for too long. I hope that sounds fair to everyone.

Soyokaze yawned and stretched as her alarm went off. "Man, what a pain..." She muttered as she looked out at the early dawn sky. She dragged herself out of bed and grabbed some clean clothes before heading to the bathroom she shared with her brother and cousin. She frowned as a thought struck her, 'That'll take some getting used to...I had it to myself while Haru-nichan was in Suna, and Kaida is here too now.'

She stumbled through a quick shower and shrugged into her clothes before heading down for breakfast. Despite the early hour, her grandmother already had rice, miso soup, and broiled fish waiting on the table. 'Obviously, Gram wanted to make sure we ate before we went out.' she thought with a tired grin as she flopped down to enjoy a quick breakfast.

Shinji's kikaichu woke him at sunrise and he showered and dressed hastily. He ate some instant ramen and set out for the Nara household. He wanted to go get Soyokaze to ensure she wouldn't be late for their first meeting with their new sensei.

OOC: Everybody go ahead and chime in with your wake up post. Remember, new genins are meeting their jonins at the academy and Konohamaru's squad is meeting his team at training area 3. Woo! The fun is just beginning folks.

Shineji's eyes snapped open as the outermost trap went off. He rechecked the binding on his leg, swallowed a soldier pill, and got ready to move. With his left hand he pointed his naginata toward the opening, leaning his weight on the haft as he scooted forward to peer out his spy hole. Three of them. That wasn't good. He knew he could take two, but with his injured leg three was a much trickier proposition. Knowing delay killed more shinobi than bad planning, bad decisions, or bad luck, he snapped his right foot forward, setting off the rest of his traps. "Kaze no Yaiba!" he shouted, using the wind blade to slice his way out of his hiding place and attack the enemy at the same time. He managed to wound one of them, with a shot to the left arm, but the other two avoided the wind blade. Luckily, one of those stepped straight onto the mat he'd woven of Kira's extra-long explosive tags. "Kai!" He smiled coldly at his remaining opponents as their compatriot disintegrated.

The sun was risen as the start of a new day. The sun rays streamed threw Sano's window as the birds chirped. The hot rays made Sano roll over as she was half asleep. Suddenly, her alarm clock rings and Sano jumps up almost landing on the floor. She thought it was strange how she would wake up the same way every morning and never picked up a certain immunity to the bell. She never was a morning person. Sano quickly slams the alarm clock button to turn it off. She then changes unto her usual clothes. "Should i wear the mask?" she asked herself looking at the mask laying on the dresser. The shrugged and left it as she walked towards the mirror fixing her hair into a ponytail and then doing her usual pose. Her pose was basically her bending forward, making her right hand into a peace sign over her right eye and a wink on the other as her left arm rests on her waist. She then giggled in a strangely girl way and grabbed a slice of toast as she ran out the door.

She ran quickly towards to training area where the team decided to meet up. "Don't wanna be late!" she said.

OOC: You did that in a dress up game?!!! Wow, which one?

Attitude, he knew, was half the battle. Shinobi Rule 25. He was hurt; he was greiving; he was scared, but his opponent couldn't tell. The no-village nin could tell, on the other hand, that Shineji wanted them dead. As soon as he could manage it. He focused on the unhurt enemy, producing as much killing intent as he could. Shineji was pretty much immune to the effects of killer intent himself; his mother went through life in a cloud of hate, and besides Ibiki lived next door. Movement in his peripheral vision made him turn to his wounded opponent. Tiger sign. Shit.
"Mind on the mission, stupid." he told himself, hitting the ground hard to avoid the fireball. He took a knee, katana clearing the sheath and faintly wished he'd finished working on that earth wall jutsu he'd been trying to figure out. He couldn't use Crescent Moon in these conditions; they already knew where he was. He'd just have to hope they couldn't block him. Kaze no Katana was a little too easy to figure out; he couldn't rely on a lucky shot. But what else could he... That was an idea, did he have enough charkra for that?
