Jin sat there calmly as she explained her disposition and he sighed in sympathy for coming off so strong against her but he was upset. "Alita I care for you deeply more so than any other person in my short life's history and I just wanted us to be up front with one another. I've been bred into a life where information is power and I understand that as well as the next so I try to keep everything as real as possible. My past is stained with lies... I want to forge a future spotless with truths and I want it to include you..." His voice was sincere especially for him and it was obvious. Taking his free hand he stroked Alita's cheek and then laid his head on hers. He was tired of their arguing, which he knew was mainly his fault, and just wanted to move on.

Alita couldn't help, but let a wide smile form on her face. The words he had just said made her heart flutter as though it could take flight. "I would love to be in your sparkling future with you...Thank you... And I mean it. From now on I'll tell you everything... no more secrets no matter how hard it hurts." She giggled softly. Turning her head slightly she kissed his cheek then rested her head back on his shoulder. The brunette couldn't help but he happy since she would again be going to live in the fire kingdom with Jin. There was no place she'd rather be.

Jin smiled then shook his head, "There's no reason to thank me but I would appreciate the no secrets." He really meant that too. He smiled and again was shocked by the kiss she gave him, he was still adjusting. It wasn't that he didn't like it but that he wasn't used to it. He actually wanted to kiss her on occasion but never did so because of shyness...

(Yeah I made him a tad bit shy lol)

"No secrets." She answered quietly a smile beaming on her face. Alita nuzzled softly into his shoulder as they sat there. Tomorrow would be their last fight then they would be free... to do as they wanted. Free to the open air. "Tomorrow... the last battle... it seems like only yesterday we got here." She said quietly. Alita was surprised she didn't cringe as she mentioned getting there... perhaps it was that she had gotten it off her chest. Either way it was nice.

Jin simply nodded in acknowledgement with a slight grin. He was content with her being next to him like this and figured that he was slowly opening up to her. He really wasn't sure how to be intimate with a person but he guess it was like this since it felt natural. Then when she mentioned that tomorrow was the last fight he thought to himself about the pains that ran through his body and the fatigue and stress that he was putting his body through and he hoped that it would hold out one more day. Then he answered her, "Yeah time has sped by. If we can hold out one more time we will be free to leave..." Then the thoughts of freedom flashed through his head and he would have a woman staying with him now when they made it through this. It was an odd thought and feeling that followed...

Alita's mind went back to living at the Fire Kingdom. She had never lived with another man besides her uncle before... would everyone assume they were lovers? It was a strange situation that she had never been in before. Not that she minded if people thought they were lovers since she hoped to be his... Her body ached as she thought about the next fight. She reached up and lightly touched her lip feeling the cut that was slowly scabbing over. Her hand went to her neck as the indentations from the woman's chained weapon still remained. Alita knew some of her wounds would scar such as the one on her thigh. With a gentle sigh she softly kissed his shoulder. "Would you like to get some rest?" She asked him gently with a smile.

Allowing all his thoughts to dissapate Jin nodded to the woman in response, "Yeah, I think we both should. Tomorrow is a special day..." he commented. It was the truth and they would have to see what happened when the day rolled around...

Alita smiled and stretched her legs out leaning her head against the wall. She hoped they could sleep just like they used to. Honestly, she had really missed it. The brunette liked trailing her fingers over his face and watching him sleep, though she hoped he didn't know she did it. "Tomorrow is a special day." She added softly.

Saguine nodded and then almost instinctively laid down in her lap as they used to. It was natural to him now and it had actually made it rough to go to sleep when they weren't talking, but she didn't need to know that. Or not yet at least. In a few moments his eyes were closed and he was already drifting off into a slumber...

Alita grinned as he laid his head down in her lap. Softly she stroked his cheek and smiled. She watched him as he fell asleep and it was so cute. Leaning down she kissed his forehead and fell asleep herself. She was much more comfortable laying this way than she had been the past few days.

The next day Alita woke up early. She peeked one eye open and saw Jin was still asleep in her lap. The brunette kept looking at him while he slept. She had not wanted to move and wake him up before the battle... He looked so tranquil and hansom when he was asleep. Alita loved looking at him.

Awakening to a bright sun made Saguine more optimistic about today's fight, he was ready to be free. As he opened his eyes he turned to look up into the familiar and soothing chocolate eyes that belonged to Alita. Sitting up he wiped his own eyes and smiled, then in a soft sleepy voice said, "Good morning."

Alita's smile widened as Jin looked up at her. "Good Morning, sleep well?" She asked him softly as she grinned. Softly her hand ran over his cheek as she stared into his eyes. Her brown eyes stared into his amber ones. Softly she leaned down and kissed him gently on the cheek.

Jin nodded and replied, "Yeah, I slept much better than the past few nights," he admitted. Then after recieving the kiss he got up and stretched breifly for his daily warm up for the match. This time instead of using his blades as he usually did he decided to practice his hand to hand martial arts in case of a situaiton similar to yesterday and later he would use his blades...

"Me too." Alita giggled softly as she looked at him. Once she saw him get up to begin his warm up she stood up as well. Smiling softly she did her usually fluidly moving warm up to get ready for the match today.

As she was finishing warming up the door flew open again. Looking between the two men she smiled seeing neither were the other man who had had their way with her that day. She wondered if perhaps he had fled for his life. Turning softly she looked to Jin and tilted her head. "Ready?"

After finishing his warm ups the men who were to take them to the arena entrance arrived. Looking at Alita he nodded and smiled, "Yeah, lets go." Then he followed the men out of the door quietly. This was the last fight that they had to survive in order to walk freely out of this kingdom, and it was finally time...

Alita grinned and nodded as Jin said he was ready to go. Her smile was wide as they walked to the same gate they had so many times before. She heard her heart thrumming in her ears realizing that she would be free after this. As the guards removed the collar from around her neck she grinned as she felt the adrenaline in her veins. Once the gate was up she jumped out onto the battlefield then froze. The woman who stood across from her had the same face shape as her only older. Her eyes were different, but otherwise their hair showed a resemblance as well. The woman also froze and frowned.

The other woman lunged across the battlefield to get closer to the younger one. Alita was frozen as she saw the other brunette coming at her. "W-Who are you?" She stuttered softly looking at the woman. The other woman lightly touched her cheek, "Alita? am I right?" She asked softly.
Alita jumped back from the woman her blades in her hand. "How do you know me?"
"I'm your mother... your father sent word that you were trapped here... Of course the earth king noted him. But just said your name, not your his child... you're so beautiful."
Alita stepped back from the woman and shook her head. "I'm not your daughter. I never was... you left me... And I'm not going to get soft on you." She answered boldly. Her nose flared as she looked at the woman. The brunette kept thinking of how she was going to be going home with Jin to be happy forever.

Jin walked out of the gate only to be met by a lightning bolt that was blocked by his celestial flame. Were he an amateur he would have been alarmed at the rate at which the bolt came but he had expected this fight to be the most difficult. The man who stood across from his was a lean blonde that had a very similar body style but an aristocratic face, as if he was raised with money. Jin on the other hand was a bit rougher looking but it was arguable which man was more attractive. The two looked at each other and drew their respective weapons. The blonde across from Saguine drew a rapier which alerted the fire elementalist that he was a defensive fighter and probably a fencer as well. Knowing this he immediately sheathed his left blade and decided to fight with only one sword. Lunging forward the two blades clashed and created a beautiful sound of metal on metal as well as some sparks. The fans went wild as they watched with increasing interest...

{haha thanks! I liked how there were similarities between their outfits and stuff, but Alita looks most like her dad.}

Alita drew her blades and jumped at the woman. The adrenaline pounded in her veins as she felt anger coming into play. Her mother jumped backwards and was unsure what to do. Running at her again the brunette flew full force at the woman sending several shards of ice. As her mother dodged the ice a bolt of lightning came crashing from the sky. She was not going easy on the woman at all. Alita even considered using her energy element against the silly woman. A flow of water flew at her as she easily blew it away. Grinning she flew back at the woman the sound of her two blades colliding with her mother's halberd. "I see your uncle has taught you well... but just let me live. we can turn on the other two" Alita growled at the woman as she swung at her throat. " I won't abandon some one I care for like you did!" She hissed venomously. The brunette sent hail down on the woman and tossed ice her way. This was going to be brutal on the older woman...

After the two blades clashed there was a stalemate with both men struggling to get the upper hand on the other resulting in both of them hopping back a few feet. As soon as they landed the fight erupted into a chaotic yet mesmerizing dance of sparks. The music flowing from their blades was enticing as they sent flames and lightning through their respective swords and tried their hands at besting the other. There was a sudden explosion that shocked the crowd and sent the blonde sprawling backwards landing on his neck and following his momentum onto his stomach. Jumping to his feet, he saw the black aura that flowed from Jin but was not shaken although he had been injured by the explosion. Then out of nowhere there was a a flurry of white fireballs falling from the sky towards him and all he could do was attempt to dodge them which he succeeded in most skillfully. When the barrage had ended he had escaped with simply a light burn on his right shoulder which meant nothing since he was left handed. Jin was shocked that he had basically come out basically unscathed but was rather impressed but that was short lived. Lighting came crashing down just missing him with a force that would have surely killed him had it made contact. Then he found himself dancing in the rain on the opposite end of the spectrum since there was a series of lightning strikes aimed at him. He had dodged them all but had expended a great deal of energy doing so. By the time they had ended the blonde was only a few feet away from sword distance and he used a vertical sweep aiming for his neck to try and end his life. Luckily the fire elementalist was able to avoid the attack and he countered with a nasty back kick to the face followed by a combo of kicks in various places with the last one involving his fire element that burnt a whole in the chest of his opponents suit.

The woman retorted against her ice with a rush of water, but still several of the shards managed to scrape her skin. Alita then rushed as her sending bolts down from the sky, which the woman had to dodge around. "But Alita! Your father must never have said one word to you!" Her mother yelled as she dodged the hailing bolts of lightning. "I don't care! I would kill him too if I was fighting him." She snarled at the other woman. Alita's swords collided with her weapon as she tried to strike her mother. "I love you." The brunette just shook her head at the other woman. "I love him." She growled as she spun around swinging her swords again. As she spun her mother's halberd made contact with her thigh slashing a good deal of skin away. She groaned then returned the attack piercing her mother's shoulder. Grinning to herself she continued her assault on the woman with graceful swings and strikes. Her mother was having a difficult time keeping up, but was able to deflect her attacks. Suddenly her mother used the halberd and pierced threw Alita's side. She yelped as she stumbled backwards the weapon in her side. Looking at the weapon she snapped the weapon inside of her and pulled it from her flesh. As she removed the weapon her mother sent a flurry of ice shards at her scraping her skin. She gritted her teeth and launched at the woman dropping her swords. Using her fists she flew at the woman making an attempt to knock her out...

(That's gangsta... she earned brownie points lol)

Jin awaited his opponent to get up and he didn't have to wait long. The blonde was indeed a great warrior from his kingdom but he would have to die. Surprised a bit at his vitality he didn't expect him to launch himself at him immediately. They flew into a fast paced sword exchange that only experts would be able to accomplish for how long they did. They neglected their elements as their blades clashed creating a beautiful show of fireworks for the crowd. Every few strikes ended with one of the two get a light cut or bruise but both battled on. They looked like a phoenix and a dragon fighting to the death and it was an amazing battle. Finally Jin was able to halt the exchange with a deep slash across the man's chest but he didn't come away unscathed. The blonde landed a downward slash that cut him across his right eye though it didn't make contact with the eye itself. Both men stumbled back and Jin now had one eye to wok with since so much blood was rushing from his wound. The blonde was short of breath from his bleeding wounds as well and both men knew the battle would end on one decisive attack. Both men stood up and held their dominant hands out forward palm up and you could see the energy growing from their palms. A black flame slowly formed in the right hand of Saguine and purple lightning developed from the left arm of the blonde. The crowd stood up realizing that both men were going to give it there all in this one final attack. Then they let loose. The two attack collided and they stood at a standstill with no apparent advantage for either man. Exerting themselves to the fullest Jin let out a ear wrecking shout and pushed all his energy through him and again there was an explosion. This time when the smoke cleared there was a charred corpse lying there where the blonde had been and Jin stood there exhausted. Falling to his knees he awaited to see the outcome of his friend's match.

Alita and her mother continued their deadly dance. As her mother landed a hit in the wound in her side blood softly dribbled from her lips. Her body ached horrible as she fought again with her mother. The two skillfully danced around each other trying to land hits. Dancing around each other for several minutes her mother landed a hit to her lip bursting open the previously healed cut. Groaning Alita managed to send her mother to the ground. Pinning her the young woman looked her mother in the face. As she pinned her she gritted her teeth she could feel blood moving around in her body. "Yo-you're a blood sub." Alita choked out as she looked at her mother. Her mother nodded as blood began running a little bit quicker from her body. Shaking her head Alita tightened her grip on her mother's shoulders. She sent waves of energy over into her mother's body. Within moments the woman began seizure as her heart was overloaded. Alita shook and cried softly as her body ached from her mother still trying to get her to bleed out. Once she saw the woman froze she softly collapsed onto of her breathing heavily. Her skin had paled from the loss of blood. Turning slightly she looked and saw Jin was alive. Her heart thumped the best it could as she smiled at him...

The crowd went wild at the dramatic finishes from the two and Jin struggled to his feet and rushed over to Alita, she looked pale which meant she had lost quite a bit of blood. Using his blood element he made clots in her body to stop the bleeding wounds and would cause quick scabs. His right eye was still oozing blood from it but he didn't mind, he hadn't opened it since it was wounded. Smiling at the woman he gave her a tight hug and whispered, "We did it... we're free." As he hugged her fireworks were sent into the air of all different colors. Releasing her from the embrace he looked up and watched as they shot up fireworks in their celebration and in congratulations to the winners.

Alita could hear the confusing noises and could somewhat tell they were screaming. She could see a blurry figure of Jin running towards her. A smile graced her face as she felt the wounds in her body closing up. She was still a little spinny as he held her. The brunette held tightly onto him as he released her a little bit. "I-I can't wait to go home." She answered softly as she clung to him. "S-Sorry. I'm a l-little weak." Looking up she was able to see the fireworks up into the sky. During the fight she realized she had told her mother she loved him and thought he should know. "J-Jin. I thi-think I l-love you." She muttered softly as her head rested on his shoulder. "I-I didn't wan-want to keep it from you." Alita looked up into his amber eyes with a smile and she reached up and whipped the blood from his eye.

"Yeah we can go home now and it's alright, that's why I'm here... to be your strength," he said with a smile. He was actually thrown through a loop when she admitted that she may be in love with him and he was speechless. All he could do was stare into her mesmerizing chocolate eyes, no words came to him or from his lips. When she wiped the blood from his eye he remembered the gash that he had and wondered how bad it was but that would come later. He simply was happy to enjoy the moment he now had with Alita. While they sat there they were approached by a man in lavish robes and heavily armed guards. The assassin remembered that he was the king of the Earth Kingdom and he took a deep respective bow after he whispered to her, "That's the king."
