The questing is going phenomenally well especially within the last couple of days. I've found more time to be online now that Spawn is able to sit up on his own without support and can entertain himself for 20 minutes at a time as long as I don't leave him alone for too long.

I'm looking forward to the break in-between quests and donating to others, though, as much as I am as finishing my quest!

Facebook has been really wonky the past couple days. It may just be because of editing, but BP seems to be down as much as it is up. At least this way, you know what you're doing and can put things where they really need to be (as much as it will let you).

That is definitely a plus for me. I'm still frustrated by the placement of the sawmills but I'm overall much happier with the layout of my resources.

One of my biggest issues with these types of games is that I never go into them with a plan or even intending to win and/or finish the game. :sweat:

So... you just prefer to reset and redo the newbie quests over and over again so you never have to work with other people?

Uhm, yes. That's pretty much it. I hate other people mucking up my precisely ordered ways. I don't really play well with others.

Lawl. As amusing as I find it, I am inclined to agree. This is why I don't really play these kinds of games anymore. Getting attacked is just too frustrating. I think it would be better if I could just play with NPCs or something. <_<

It's not that I mind the aspect of the game that involves combat but I find it more difficult to enjoy the game if someone launches an attack on me and never stops. After that I can't get a break and no chances to really play the game - I'm always struggling to stay ahead on my resources and build up my own kingdom, let alone defend it.

So, you're saying you would prefer that combat and resource management were more disjointed?

I would prefer it if jackasses didn't farm my kingdom like the gold farmers on WoW do.

There is that, too. I can certainly relate. There was a game a played ages ago that was not dissimilar. I got in early and got big--big enough that it took an entire guild to take me down. But once they broke my defenses, it was pretty much over. I was a farm--an easy hit. I couldn't keep enough resources to even build new defenses.

That pisses me off to no end.

You should have the gold to get that banner made. They never costed more than 200:gold: did they?

I have 150g set aside for the quest. I really only have 50g to spend on a banner right now. Plus it's not like I'm in a hurry to get one made up.

I'M FEELING A LOT OF PRESSURE TO DRIVE THE THREAD. IS THIS NORMAL? I DON'T THINK IT SHOULD BE. MAYBE I'M JUST BORING AND HAVE LOST THE ABILITY TO KEEP A CONVERSATION GOING. OF COURSE, I'VE NEVER REALLY BEEN GOOD AT THAT WITH FORUMS. I THINK IT HELPS WHEN WE HAVE A VARIETY OF PEOPLE POPPING IN, THOUGH. WHAT DO YOU THINK? VARIETY = SPICE OF LIFE? OR KEEP IT SIMPLE?
