My post-Christmas is going well. My sisters and I went shopping together today. It was fun, though I had a huge let down. :O It happens. My shopping trips usually have huge let downs. Lol. How is yours?

To be honest, I can't remember how mulled wine tastes like anymore. The only time I had it was when I was in Bali for a Christmas vacation, and that was years ago (when I was till underage). xD

I stop expecting anything for Christmas, so that way there would be no let downs. :lol:
But I had some really nice smelling lotions and perfume(?) from my mother.

My boyfriend's parents got me smelly things. My boyfriend got me slippers of the alien squeak toys from Toy Story. My sister got me a beautiful necklace. But I just got money and gift cards other than that...which I really didn't expect. I didn't expect to get anything for Christmas, so it was a big surprise. :)

Mulled wine is just so spicy and tangy and good! Especially with an orange slice on the side. :drool:

I've always stood by the idea that you should be able to sip or taste alcohol while you're underage. It's really nothing exciting or special, so the sooner you realize that, the better. Then you're not about to go crazy and end up hospitalized the first time you get offered some!

I've always thought that it's more fun to pair wine and alcohol with foods, too. I can't just sit at a bar and drink. You need to make a whole meal out of it and actually enjoy the stuff. That's why mulled wine is pretty great - Eating it with beef and cheese is amazing.

You know, I've been telling people for years, if you can't decide on what to get people for Christmas, they'd actually be really happy just to get money or gift cards to place they shop often at. It's better that way at times, rather than getting something they'll never appreciate. xD

That is very true, Knerd. I could never drink wine on it's own for long. And I actually do not like most alcohol, some of them I find taste terrible to me. The only one I could drink straight without anything accompanying is sake. xD
