I went to bed late and then got woken up early by some noisy construction or something and further kept awake by people doing last minute wrapping downstairs. V_V

Yeah, me too. It makes me very grumpy to be woken up all the time. Usually I get woken up by the shower in the morning since my room is right next to the bathroom. Sometimes it's the alarm going off for twenty minutes in the bedroom next to mine, or someone doing yard work early... There's always something. V_V

Yeah I am, a light sleeper living in a house of incredibly deep sleepers/loud snorers. It's a nightmare... They don't understand that just because they can sleep through a vacuum cleaner that some other people are easily woken. >.<

I guess they just dont understand how others can even be light sleepers

I know some light sleepers that remove themselves from people just to be able to say they had a good night sleep.

I can't wait until a few weeks from now. My fiance is leaving for a week so I'll be able to sleep in his room downstairs where things are much quieter.

Thanks, it's not for a few weeks yet but it'll be nice. Except I'll feel lonely and abandoned all the time I'm not sleeping. I feel so awkward around the rest of his family when my fiance isn't here...
