Coventina shook her head and breathed out deeply. "I cannot simply trust you. If your leader knew of upcoming events, that already makes you suspicious." she said and smiled to Cheza. Her side then felt a searing pain, and she felt her knees get weak. "The caves are full, so I cannot offer sanction, but the huts on the beach are well insulated, and can be used by you for your temporary stay." she decided. "You will proove yourselves, and if you lie, the sea is not kind to betrayal." she said, and nodded to the sea. A wall of water was waiting the slam down over the newly arrived wolves. It then slowly returned to the ocean, and the alpha turned to walk away, but her strength finally gave way.

Sky couldn't stand by anymore. Darting forward he caught Coventina, and gently pulled her into his embrace. The pained look on her pale face broke his heart. Her eyes were squeezed shut, and her hand instinctively clutched his shirt. "Covetina..." he whispered with worry, holding her with ease. "Hang on... I'm right here..." he breathed, kissing the top of her hair, as she whimpered into his shirt. He turned to Cheza, and offered a saddened smile. "I'm sorry Coventina can not talk with you, I'm sure she would have loved to... She loves talking with anyone..." he whispered, brushing the hair from her pale face with love. "You're welcome in our caves if you wish to see our clan." he breathed and walked forward, keeping the alpha against him. A tear ran from his eye, seeing her silent pain written all over her face.

The thought of a wolf-made tsunami didn't bode well for the possibility of betraying the newly-formed alliance. Either way, she was certain Jazereth wouldn't do that. The hairs on the back of Cheza's neck tingled. She recalled Jazereth's words when she had first agreed to be her understudy, "You can worry when you're the alpha." So this was the power of the alphas.

Cheza looked back at the woman sincerely. "We will remain on good terms with it." Coventina's message was clear: don't betray their trust.

She looked surprised as the green-haired male darted forward to support the alpha. Then...she smiled. Cute. While members of the fire pack themselves tended to ignore the whole concept of "love", something about the situation was pleasantly humorous to her. "I'll come soon enough. Thank you."

Her gaze fell upon the brown wolf and the small group behind him. "If you don't mind telling me", she asked slowly, "just what danger is approaching?"

"I don't know. If you wish to know, you need to speak with Syndarion. I was only told to send gaurd's to this area."he said. 6 more wolve's came, and all started preping the hut's. "Syndarion is in Wind-tribe territory....."he said, then looked at the green haired male. "Oi! You, give a message to the Water-clan leader, when she awaken's...."he said, then spoke quietly to him. "We still haven't forgotten what happended on the day's of frosts."he said, and they walked away.

Sky walked his alpha into her room, and laid her down carefully. When she whimpered, be kissed her head, and stroked her head. "Why do you push yourself like this Coventina? You need to rest and keep yourself strong..." he whispered and she curled up shivering. His arms instinctively wrapped around her and pulled her into his arms once again. "I can be your strength... Your sheild.... I can support you." he breathed, running his nose over her cheek lightly. Her scent was divine, and her skin was so soft and warm. He wanted to be her's, he wanted to mate with her, and only her. No one else called to him like she called to him. "I won't leave you... You need me, whether or not you admit it." he breathed, and she nodded giving in. It was nice to feel someone holding her, someone stroking her head softly. Sky couldn't help but close his eyes as he thought of the wolf's words. Should he really say that to his alpha? Would the day of the frosts bring up bad feelings?

By chance, another gust of wind blew past her. This Syndarion was in the wind pack's territory. Cheza watched him leave until he was several meters away. Then her eyes briefly shifted to view the huts being prepared on the sandy beach. With a turn that slightly turned up the dirt underfoot, Cheza shifted into her wolf form and ran back into the cave to find Jazereth and the fire pack warriors.

"Alpha." Cheza's furry head dipped slightly in a small bow. "They've arranged huts for the pack on the beach. They're preparing them now, last I saw." She straightened and looked up at her. "I suppose they thought it would be more comfortable for us than staying in here." Indeed the cave was a bit cramped.

Navi accepted the book from Syndarion, looking curious. "Thank you again." She smiled a bit before heading off with Ketaro. When they were a decent ways off, she looked over her warrior. The male was . . . tense. When they got to his living area, she listened in silence. The story was sad, and Navi reached out to him. The tips of her dark fingers wiped a tear away from his cheek. "I am sorry for you," she whispered, "and for Shizuko." Her pale eyes moved over Ketaro's face slowly. "Syndarion has proved to be a useful ally. He has offered our tribe more strength in our time of greatest need." Navi slowly pulled away, looking around the hut about her. "He has saved my life, and I will not turn him away. Syndarion has warned us, and protected us."

Sympathy filled her eyes. "I don't mean to say your story doesn't matter, dear Ketaro." The Wind alpha held the male's gaze. "It most certainly does. I will be sure to keep a close watch on the strangers among us. Your warning is fair, and I thank you for bringing it to my attention."

After Noctis' raised voice went on for a few more moments, the Earth alpha sighed loudly. His anger had been spent. "Help pack. You know that we will move quickly." From the look on his pale face, he obviously wasn't happy. "You will be the one tending to the tracks as we travel." That meant Demicora would be the last wolf, clearing away whatever signs of passage they left behind.

"Don't let it happen again." Noctis' feral hiss turned into a sudden yawn, stealing the ferocity from the statement. He needed rest after the earlier attack, but it would wait. The entire pack needed to be moved to another location many miles away first.

After Ketaro, Navi and Syndarion left, Gemini made her way to where the last bits of food were and grabbed herself some.she took her food and sat down with it, saying thanks and digging in.

((*purrs* Well, it sorta makes sense: Syndarion wouldn't want to mess with the flow of time any more than necessary. :sweat: So, he told Ketaro what he'd seen, and then refused to help alter the flow of time. :lol: It's all good, right? :3))

Luka glanced up from his finished meal. "Is everyone else alright, Gemini?"

Syndarion looked at gemini. "What do you have against me, warrior?....."He asked, quietly.

Gemini nodded to Luka."yes, everyone is fine.I would never relax until I was sure the pack was safe." She said.than she turned to Syndarion."why ask me? I didn't even see you there.I'm just eating, minding my own business.I have done nothing to you.but if you really want me to say something- I don't trust you." She said simply.

syndarion grumbled "This is why I didn't want to get involved. If the god's didn't offer us what they did in return, I wouldn't have. We hate dealing with people. "He said.

Gemini shrugged."maybe that's why I don't trust you.if you were more able to deal with other people, then I would know that you could be trusted to some degree.but since you have no people skills, you are not to be trusted fully.I will accept you for as long as my Alpha does, but one word from her and I will run you out faster than you can say bite me."

"Remember who's fault it was that we got drove out in the first place, scum. "He said, growling.

Ketaro nodded,"Thank you my alpha, for listening to my reasoning. You might have a different opinion of this man, and I respect that....... If anything.... If he does anything, call for me and I'll personally bite his head off. He has had his chance. He need not get another." Walking from his tent, Ketaro arrived at the dining area. He was starving and he still had to give Gemini an explanation for how secretive he was being. Entering, he saw that Syndarion and Gemini were in the middle of a insensible arguement. Though he couldn't judge. It was, just the wrong time for this. Tensions were already high. Grabbing some water and the last of the scraps, Ketaro sat down between Gemini and Syndarion.

Gemini stood up so quickly the table rattled."would you like to say that again when I can reach you, coward?" She growled, claws appearing in place of her fingernails.her challenge was loud enough for Navi and Ketaro to hear.

Jazereth replied,"Thank you. Though I doubt it was only out of the kindness of her heart. They are making sure that we are cornered and of no threat. I would rather stay in here, we shall move there. I will not sacrifice my packs safety just for foolish reasons. To inform the pack and start making them move. I'll be watching ahead."

"Calm, Gemini!" Navi followed Ketaro out to the dining area. She'd witnessed the reaction that her warrior had. "Syndarion is here under my allowance." She glanced at the other male before frowning. "I bear the decision, and I bear the consequences. Is there something I can help with here?"

Luka had been silent, and was now glancing back and forth between the two uneasily. What happens if they fight?

Gemini growled but forced her claws back."Alpha, I have already warned him that I would tolerate his presence because of you, and that if you said so I would run him out.this was a kind statement considering that I do not trust him.his reaction was to call me scum.with all due respect, I will defend my honor if it is called into question again."

Navi's eyes narrowed, and she looked to Syndarion. She might have trusted the male, but she had known her pack for much longer. These were people of her own heart. "Not everyone will trust you just because I do." The Wind alpha felt the air tugging at the area around them, responding to irritation. Her dark hair was tossed back as she growled, stepping forward. "I will have no trouble with my pack."

Gemini watched, expressionless.it was becoming difficult to focus.she felt feverish, and she was having quite a bit of trouble holding back her wolf.what's going on? she wondered.suddenly, she swayed where she stood, stumbling to keep herself up."ah! Ketaro-San!" She called.

Cornered and of no threat. Cheza had known that already; Coventina had made it obvious in telling her. The water pack already had one problem to deal with. Somewhere in the back of her mind, the alpha probably considered the newcomers as a possible danger, thus the extra precaution. It was wise of her to do that, Cheza thought.

"Should we suggest to Coventina that we wish to remain in here?" Assuming Coventina wouldn't get upset if they refused to comply with her orders. Then again, Cheza was certain she needed the extra help.

((I think another day should come soon. Coventina is down for the count, and Sky is an impatient and tense boy with a massive crush that won't let anyone disturb her... Sooooo yeah.))
