well basically I had an okay job and gave it up for an amazing job and now because of some minor paper work
I don't have a job at all
and rents due
T.T
so I haven't a clue what to do

are you sure the minor paperwork can't be fixed at all?

and maybe try calling the old job? (i know its horrible but... if it keeps a roof over you head, it's worth the prideful swallow).

It's because I don't have a license and even though mixing paint requires no such driving, Home Depot just requires it from all there employees. So she's calling her lead to talk about it being I have already gone through orientation and everything! Today was going to be my first day T.T
she was supposed to call me about it "within the hour" 3 hours ago.....

and well the thing about my old job is one particular guy ... if you want to know all the details I'll link you to the post that I wrote while the shit was going down....

I dunno have okay luck getting jobs but even if I got a different job tomorrow I wouldn't have the pay check in time, I used to model and that would be a way to get them money quick. But my hubby did not like me modeling at all.... but I'm thinking it may be the only option...

hubby might have to suck it up and deal. i mean, I guess it depends but really especially if you're a clothed model, he should know that that's your job and when you're down with it you go back to him

back-ups, i never think to do them until i am screwed.

lol. I'm such a back up fiend. I have about 3 back up hard drives and one is solid state for files I know are set for archiving.

I haven't backed it up after all my wedding stuff not long ago .... I should do that
but it takes SO long

well that's the thing even if your a clothed model 99% of photographers will still try to push you to take off your clothes for "artistic" excuses. Which is why I stopped. Even once and a while a good one come along but most male photographers seem to think it's just better to pay a model her 100 an hour fee then go to a strip club.

me too! I think I'll keep the avi i have no hough for a while before switching it up for something new. I usually change my avi once a week or every other week if I don't have time.

Haha. I fight really hard to keep my avatars for at least three days. I have total avatar ADD.

well she said worst case seniero I can get it and then re-apply in six months and she would for sure hire me.... again

but if I have to get a new job for six months anyway then why would I even go back?

I used to change my avi EVERY DAY
then after about two years I got lazy
now I change it.... whenever

I think it really would make more sense to keep you since you've already been trained and give you until your probationary period ends to get your license. like with me, I'm a graphic designer. I never actually work IN the gym. but I still had to get my cps and first aid certification done and they gave me 6 weeks to get it done. If I didn't then i would be suspended without pay and eventually let go if I continued to not get it.

I hope so, but she never did call me back soooo that's not good. I think I'm just going to get dressed up tomorrow and go to lowes and a bunch of other places and start looking for something new but still peruse her a little about it. I just don't like how she won't be straight forward with me about it

it might not be her fault perse that she can't be straight about it. she probably really wants you to stay. plus it for t of looks bad on her part... i mean if home depot's policy is that ALL employees need a license at the time of hire, then really, you shouldn't have gotten to round two of reviewing applications. so she might be trying to make it work out so you get her job and she's not in big trouble and everyone's happy but higher ups have the final say.

Oh that's sweet of you Empress I hope so *crosses fingers* the thing is, on my application on line I specified ID and the hiring people (who are corporate and not even in this state it was all over the phone). So to me that's like them saying okay already right? It was a pretty big tease to get that far, and I think they still may have to pay me for my training time any way...

lol your sweet but I don't like entering contests, they aren't really my thing. Plus I won admins pick not to long ago and I had enough fame with that XD
