@Emma: That's horrible!! I can't believe profs can get away with putting unrelated questions on quizzes. How would students be expected to prepare for them then?!
Aw that really sucks. I had to take calculus in my first year of university and since I am bad at calc I almost failed and it really dropped by GPA. It's really hard to raise your GPA after you do really bad in a course. D:

So your business is making edible gift baskets?? That sounds nice. Ya you really can't trust that any employee you hire will do a good job unless you always observe them yourself. Hiring is difficult because everyone will say that they are the best one for the job.
It's great that your business has gotten lots of exposure!

The same thing with our final too. Only weeks 8-13 were open online for us to review (quizzes, notes, powerpoints, homework, etc.), and I asked her to open up the rest if they were going to be on the final - she assured me they weren't and told me don't worry about weeks 1-7 material as it wasn't included.
Ummmm - yeah. It was included. And I bitched at her for it and she's like "Yeah, by the time I noticed I gave the wrong final everyone had already taken it. It didn't affect the over all grade though, so it's okay. Sorry though."
It's like ughhhhh.
I mean, I still got an A, but not the point. I still got an 85 on my final instead of in the 90s or a 100 - the only questions I missed were the ones from prior weeks :( </3

Same - I'm bad at Statistics and that's the course I'm failing :( </3
I started out so well!
Until he did this practice quiz to show us how the program worked and it was all questions like "Why are you taking this class?" "Do you like math?" "Are you a math major?" etc.
So of course, I chose the answers "Because it's a requirement for my degree" "Not really" "No" etc. and of course, failed the practice quiz (which wasn't added into my average, thank goodness), and it's just been downhill since then - so ridiculous :(
I'd rather take the course from a lion and be face to face with it every single minute of every day than take the course with this guy again lol
My GPA can't handle it and I can't handle the stress and worry!
Definitely not worth it :3

2 out of my 4 classes are going to be a C at best - it's so not fair :gonk:
I'm honestly dreading the 24th - that's when we find out our final grades and GPA for the semester :( </3

And if you're there hovering over them and making sure it's right, then you might as well be doing it yourself and not wasting money paying someone to do it, ya know?
It's just so important that everything that goes in looks nice, isn't damaged, and each can is reasonably priced and is built to the budget, and without watching them we can't be sure that they're not overcharging or under-filling, ya know?

Word of mouth is definitely the best thing for us right now with opening the retail store - it's helped us so much to get the word out!
I mean, we've had repeat customers since day one!
Even our Major is a repeat customer XD;
So that exposure alone has been tremendous :3
Definitely exciting!
We're hoping to open a second location in the future near an army base - the market there is just ideal for what we do, especially because we can personalize with the soldiers names and we can send them pieces of home in a tin they can use right there where they're at, so it's a gift that just keeps giving. And when they return home they can use the can to store their mementos etc. :3
That's our plan for the near future :3
We would have gone there originally, but that would have required moving and just wasn't possible with my brother still in high school, ya know?
No sense uprooting him for his last 2 years :3
But hopefully soon we'll be able to open up the second location!

But then comes the scary part of hiring someone to manage and work at the first location :P

Korea has a lot of good food, in my opinion :eager: But I'm not a big fan of vegetables which is basically what they serve with everything, lol :sweat: The meats are the best, though!! :drool:
