I just got Silas and Ren up on the front page, along with Ver. There are still a few things I need to work out in the background of the RP and such, but once everyone has their characters done, we are all set to start.

River is my last character, and I actually don't have a personality for her yet... I am debating using her at all, to be honest.

Well, Ren is also more down-to-earth and practical, so I don't see too much drama happening with him. He's a flirt and fearless, but also is mature and likes to keep the best interests of everyone in mind.

Hmm the last rp I remember you using Ren in was ... uh ... Wasn't it the one where it was supposed to be a whole bunch of disasters?

Hai, this is a slightly different version though, he does not have a heart condition and is not as sensitive and artistic, his whole life revolves around exploring abandoned and haunted places. This is actually closer to my original version of him, which was for a horror RP called BloodWidow Manor.

And Ren is just another one of those characters that's based on you, hmm?

No, actually. He is inspired by the band AFI and their lead, Davey Havok.

He was originally a character for short stories and random ramblings, a character so human... unlike one I had ever made before. His personality and story is around the concept and idea of grasping life, holding it tight and making the most of it, no matter what happens. He echoes the power and beauty I find in the songs and the meaning within the lyrics. Though he has been through deep depressions and has been suicidal, he carries on and embraces each day, not willing to experience the fear of life he had then.... I suppose in this respect he reflects a part of me, but as a whole, he is his own person.

Ah, well now that you point it out, I can see the resemblance.
I've never really put such thought into any of my characters.

*smiles* I think I just put too much thought into my characters sometimes.

While I on the other hand mostly just throw them together on a whim. They kind of pop into my head all fully formed.
