I'm procrastinating warming up to get to work on homework, so I added in some tips on the front page where the FAQ post had been, since I didn't have Q's that had been FA'd. How's it look?

I'm trying to figure out an idea for a topic, but lately I've been second guessing that anything I have to say is worth sharing, so that isn't really helping me come up with anything.

Don't second guess yourself, I am always doing that. I reeally shouldnt though

Easier said than done. I just don't know if people would find whatever I have been thinking about possibly making a topic interesting.

What type of topics?

Nemo - It's hard to know what would be interesting to other people until you find out. If you think the topic is interesting and worth talking about, go ahead and make it! The worst thing that could happen would be that no one replies. You still get 50g automatically for making a thread!

I don't even know if I want to even do it. I've had bad luck in the past with threads I start. >.< I honestly don't want to throw myself into a bad mood again just because yet another thread of mine flops yet again.

That is a cool topic, Seri. A lot of deep thinking involved.

I figured Mene could do with a few more deep topics in the critical thinking forum. Trying to think of a few more to put in there.

It's always nice when that forum gets a topic for critical thinking rather than angry debating.

I try to avoid angry debating. Angry people make me twitchy.

Me too! I've historically avoided that forum (except for modly duties) because it tended to be mostly anger. I always wished it would get more friendly posts.

SO HEY YOU GUYS! New thread creation is slowing down drastically now. I'm thinking of a few ways to deal with this because I definitely want more than three threads a day out of you guys. I'm glad to see there's still activity in the recent threads, but I'd love it if everyone was in the habit of regularly making threads so we'd all have things to chat about all the time. That's the joy of a forum!

I like that idea too, but I also like lingering on a topic for a week or two in the GD and such before moving on.

I'm going to try to get a few more discussion posts up in the next few days. I have a few ideas I'm sorting through at the moment. Hopefully people will take to them.
