Well I know how to talk to you and erma... but what I was curious of, was how you talk to her
It kinda makes me think of Dissociative identity disorder

Poet, it is Dissociative Identity Disorder.
I can remember not knowing she existed. She can remember not knowing whether I existed or was real or was a ghost or whatever.
Some people with it can see their others in the room with them, and some don't even know they have others.
We got a telepathy thing going sometimes, and sometimes we're both sort of here (conscious) at the same time, and sometimes we're not. And it's not some chartable or scheduley thing either. It can be pretty random.
Sometimes we even literally leave notes for each other, on paper, and we've emailed each other, even.
Sometimes we just talk to each other in our head. It's weird, but I can obviously live with it, lol. Stressful sometimes, but I think I deal with it alright.
Sleep is calling me now, but I'll be back around.
I'm glad we got to chat, if only for a bit, we always have good conversation.

Ooh okay.
I don't know whether to be amused or amazed at DID disorder...
I mean like... if you were lonely you always have a friend right there.
But DID only really seems problematic if there's a bunch of them, with just 2, it's... I guess like an internal twin?
I'm glad you're comfortable opening up to us Vera. We're a quite accepting bunch of folk here.

But both Vera and Erma are AMAZING people~!
At least Erma isn't murderous.
Hasn't that happened?

Well my psychology teacher once had a student with it come into class as someone else. Apparently his other personality thought he could do the test better
Teacher managed to get him back so he could do the test
I think Vera is very lucky though, because they seem equally mature in ways. Some people get someone very young or old.

Yeah, the best I can do with being taking over by another person is pretending to be an OC to get myself through something difficult.

I can't talk with my OC directly. Only through roleplay, since I'm not "in their world" I guess

More like I bring them to mine! Actually, we go to a whole other place in my head… Nowhere extravagant or unrealistic. We're just sitting in a room, and we talk.

I used to not be able to understand how people could just know what their characters would do in every situation. It was frustrating. My characters wouldn't do anything unless I told them to do it. And then they'd only do it in the way I told them to. They'd be whatever I wanted them to be. I don't remember when they started talking to me, but I finally understood everyone saying their characters have a mind of their own, and I was so pleased.

I never know what they would do... they just do it
I've never been able to decide what they did. They just sort of decided they were one way or the other.
I don't have many characters though... too many is hard to keep track of

I have a couple of friends who have DID. Have you notices any others, or just the one? One friend I think has around 20 or 30.
Aww! How old is she? Is Erma a little?

I've also found that their personality shows in anything I try to do with them. Like, a character who's stubborn or not nice is probably really hard to draw, or a secretive character won't reveal much of their past or personality to me.
I get no choice in how many characters I have.

Erma and Vera seem about the same age I think
Well... I make a lot of them, but I tend to "retire" a lot of them because they're too... how to say it... too simple. Like a few of my characters... they're not fun to RP anymore because their life has already been written, So I use a descendant or an ancestor

Mine are a separate world, but there's a way to get to Earth from it.
Medieval times. You brave soul. See, I don't do historical settings because then I'm always worried about being historically accurate.

I'm taking classes where we talk about mythology and traditional stories right now, so I've been getting ideas for that. Aaand geology is also making me think of things.
