At the same time as Lori, Gemini popped up and yelled surprise. Lucifer barked happily. "Happy birthday!"

Bruce missed the cue to yell surprise, but decided not to feel awkward. Happy birthday. The key to the city?" He said, raising an eyebrow at Lori.

((I give up with that thing))
"It's nothing." Lori grinned at him. "Cake or presents?" Helena blinked the decided to roll with it. "Cake."

Gemini cheered happily and went to bring out the cake. "Here we go! Everyone sing happy birthday!"

Bruce raised an eyebrow. Singing happy birthday to a full grown woman? "Is that really necessary?" He asked.

Gemini glared a glare worthy of Lori. "We will sing."

"Just go with it she doesn't care what I want why should she care what you want?" Helena crossed her arm staring Gemini down daring her to still want to sing happy birthday.

Gemini's face fell, making her look more pathetic than Lucifer. "We always used to sing happy birthday. I thought you liked it." She said sadly.

Bruce looked utterly confused. Why was the woman acting so strangely? Is she trying to guilt us, or is she really that childish? Somehow, he was starting to think that Gemini really was just a child.

"I've told you before that I'm to old for that...I only let mom give me a party is because she always surprise's me with it." Helena rolled her eyes blowing out the candle and started to cut it. "Matter settled."

Pouting, Gemini let the matter go, but not without mentioning how she missed the sweet little girl who loved her auntie. "I need to find a boyfriend so I can get married and have kids of my own." She said wistfully, before going and getting the present she had brought.

"Right, well...happy birthday, anyway, Helena. I got a gift for you." Bruce said, deciding to ignore the woman who was clearly insane.

Helena shook her head and hugged Bruce. "You being here is enough of a gift daddy." Lori gave them aw eye's but said nothing not wanting to embarrass either of them.

Even Gemini managed to hold back her squee, but still smiled brightly.

"I'm glad you think so. I still brought you something, though. I want you to have it." Bruce said, taking a long box out of his pocket and holding it out to her.

Helena took it blinking slightly. "What is it?" she asked opening it.

Inside the box was a beautiful pearl necklace. "This necklace once belonged to my mother. I always imagine that if I had a daughter, I would give it to her. Now that you're an adult, I want you to have it." Bruce said.

Gemini was close to tears. That was so sweet!! She would have to squee with Lori later about what a sweet guy her boyfriend was.

Both Lori and Helena stared at him with a grin Helena had her mother put it on. "Oh thank you papa." Helena hugged him tightly. "I'll treasure it always."

Hesitantly, Bruce hugged his daughter, as if he wasn't used to doing so- which he wasn't. "It looks beautiful on you." He said.

Gemini bit her fist, trying not to cry. She felt like she was seriously intruding on a private moment, so she walked into the kitchen to let the family have their moment.

They all spent the day together just hanging out till the bat symbol appeared.

Gemini was the first to spot it. "Uh-oh. Ah, Bruce?" She said, pointing out the window. She vaguely wondered if Lori had an apartment that looked directly on the bat signal on purpose.

Bruce looked up. "Oh. Wonderful. Well, I've had fun. I'll see you later, Lori." He said, the last part with an obvious innuendo.

Lori smirked at him then stuck her tongue out at his retreating form. "Think I should go make the night interesting?" She asked both girls.

Meanwhile a half limbing Joker left the hospital chuckling. Behind him the cops, guards and nurses who had tried to stop him lay with unseeing eyes and big grins on there faces.

((Why?))

Gemini grinned. "If you're talking about following him, then I think we all should." She said, thinking that "Vixen" would at least make an appearance.

Bruce, who was now Batman, arrived at the hospital at the same time as the police. Once seeing the damage, He took off to find the clown and drag him back if necessary.

((This is how early I have to get up for work today I did sleep thank goodness.))
"Perfect." Lori grinned while Helena chuckled shaking her head. "Looks like dad will need some help." She slipped away to get changed.

Joker greeted his hyenas as they looked up from there meal of some one. He fell onto his couch groaning a little while he would have loved to go out everything still hurt to much to do that.

((Wow, you poor thing.))

Gemini slipped into the bathroom quickly, and returned as Vixen. "Shall we go?" She asked.

Batman, unfortunately, was still searching.

Lori was waiting in her cat suit grinning "let's go." She slipped out into the night heading for the museum. She stopped and looked back at Vixen "you choose the job."

Vixen landed next to her and thought for a moment. "There's a new museum exhibit about ancient Egypt. Apparently there's a legendary cat statue there that's worth millions. It's under heavy surveillance and won't be easy to steal. You up to it?" She asked. She usually didn't speak in costume, but since Lori was the only one who knew who she was, it was fine.

"I'm always up for stealing cat things." Catwoman laughed and climbed to the top of the city examining the museum closely. "Poor thing I've robbed it so much you would think they would stop bring exhibits here." She smirked then kept off the edge using her whip to launch herself to the next building.

((Up early for work again?))

Vixen smirked behind her ANBU mask. "They never do learn." She said, and jumped after her friend. She didn't use any tools to help her, just her reflexes and speed.

Catwoman examined the alarm "well at least they upgraded this...looks like battech" she sounded to happy about that. "OK you get the statue I'll hold the alarm as long as I can and hope it doesn't fail batman as soon as I touch it " she opened the box. "ready?"

Vixen nodded, getting into position. "Hit it." She said, ready to go. She almost hoped Batman did show up, just for the fun of the chase...and because she knew Lori wanted him to.
