The star shows you my status on the forums. I have my status set to "Hidden" so you won't see my name in the online users list in the main forums page if you're a regular user. Since you're a mod now, you get to see who exactly is online, and who isn't.

Haha, I'd never seen a star before, so I was thrown off. I should have figured it was because of my status change, but I'm that slow right now XD

Its just kind of overwhelming I think. There is a lot involved with being a staff member that most users don't know about before they accept. It takes a lot of work to make sure you have all the rules and such down, and to know when something needs to be done. And all the extra goodies can be a bit confusing at first. You wouldn't believe how many times I tried to quote something and clicked edit or delete at first when I became a mod. And then just all the extra features that you get. I know things have changed, but its a lot to take in at first : )

Hopefully we're a bit better now about explaining how to go about doing things than we were a few trial sessions ago. ^^;

I don't think I "dress like" anyone on the site. But I'm not really considered one of the people who usually makes great avatars, so it probably doesn't matter. LOL.

ck's style is slightly different, but some of jelly's avvies are sorta sim with ck's

I think the explanation threads are pretty detailed. I just need some practice in each area to make sure I know how to do things properly XD

I used to confuse jelly and juru all the time, because in my head they were very similar o.e

I probably dress like others on occasion, but I certainly had my own style back when I always used my super bright blue hair. XD That's mostly because no one else liked my avatars so no one copied it.

Yeah, take some time over the next few days to try each of the things you can now do. XD The best way to learn is by doing. And of course, not being afraid to ask questions.

But, yeah. It's going to be something that becomes more distinct as you get to know them more. Just like if you have two classmates with very similar names and they sorta look alike too. If you don't interact with them, you'll likely always confuse them, but once you get to know them you'll know that one has a really dry sense of humor that people mistake for rudeness, and the other is rude intentionally and people love her for it. LOL.

@PC: I'm not putting myself down. XD I liked my old avatars, I was just noting that most other people didn't. Or they thought it was alright for me, but would never want to copy it. (Which is why I dressed that way on purpose since it made me happy and I was unique.)
