I have a sick amount of Gaia accounts, mostly to store items on or dress up. I put so much on Gaia. My main is a female, but my others are mostly male. I just do it when I get bored or want to make a cosplay account.

I have Silently Xurxo there. Compared to Xurxo here.

I'm thinking most of my friends from Gaia like it there more or their software isn't combatible with this site or don't know I got blocked.

I myself have a few accounts on Gaia but I closed them out. I lost my first account on Gaia when I first started in 2004 before, but I found it and deactivated it. After that, I created a new account and now it serves as my main permanently.

I don't go on there quite as much as anyone else, though. Ever since Gaia evolved into more hackers, bots, etc, I gave up speaking in the Forums area. For now I only go on Gaia to change outfits on my avatar and that's about it. xDD;; I do sometimes talk to my friends on their profiles but it gets boring. >> I found menewsha through Gaia and that's how I ended up here in 2007 or so.

I've tried getting into playing the ZOMG game when they updated the site for it. At first it was fun for me but then all the lagging got me down. o_o; I'm basically still a beginner on that game. Oh well ~ I do occasionally go on Gaia during events once in a while to collect the items and that's about it. :P

I have a few accounts on Gaia. I mainly go on one(crazy ninja foxcoon) and occasionally go on the other two to mess with either the clothing or trade items that I have too many of on my main one. :3

I still use my Gaia account. I used to have two but the other has this weird database error so I just have the one. I've had it for two or three years and I still like roleplaying over there. My username is Chibi Duckling.

Ah Gaia. My first love. I started up on there Feb 06. I'm still on there today under the same name as I have chosen on here. I've developed quite a number of long time fiends which is the main reason why I haven't left there yet. There are so many things that bug me about the site now though. The main one being all of the little preteens that like to cyber in the towns and rallies. The magnitude of it as become quite disturbing. Not to mention all of the scriptors that lag out the towns. On top of that is the huge dump of new items that are virtually unattainable unless you are made of pure luck (i.e. Rigs) or have such a limited social life that you can spend hours upon hours on the site building and hoarding your gold (i.e. EIs) But still I log on everyday faithfully hoping that it'll get better.

I don't even go in rallies anymore. It really is very disturbing...
Actually, I don't even go in the forums to talk really because of all the spam and cussing and whatnot!

I hate how you can't get those new items that are like a million gold. (And they're not always even that spectacular anyway!)

Wow, I can't believe the trick or treating candies are skittles this year...

I'm kinda getting the feeling that they're pushing the skittles a bit much, you know...


Oh, I saw the Halloween event that came out today! I think it's a little unfair that the skins can't be sold/traded and only the winning team can keep them. :(
But other than the followers thing, I'm kinda liking this event! :yes:

I had a Gaia.
Had is the key word there.
I got sick and tired of Gaia being... well, like they are, so I quit going.
They hardly come out with new items in the normal gold shops, and when they do, the items are really expensive.
Plus, they're pushing the cash shop a lot.
I know that the site is getting tons of members, but I don't think selling every new item in the cash shop is a good idea.

Agreed. I thought it was weird when they changed the daily chance machine to a skittles thing. >>;

It's so sad. ): This is the 7th trick or treating event I've participated in on Gaia, and it's mostly been following the same format so introducing skittles is unthinkable. D:

I agree, though I guess that means Gaia is trying to discourage mules. Finding followers is incredibly annoying. XD The forum is moving waaay too fast. I joined the demon side because I think they'll win. 8D

Ugh, I know how you guys feel. I'm doing trick or treating this year just because I like the items, but I rarely go on Gaia anymore. And when I do, it's usually just because I want to change my avvi's clothes.

=/ The place just feels so negative nowadays, y'know?

I like the event right now. It's really fun, to me. So I have to see how Mene can come up with something more better. But who knows, you know? xD

@ lightkanna: Well, I don't think you can really compare Gaia's events with Mene. Gaia has a whole team of coders and graphic designers on hand to make whatever they want. Mene doesn't have the resources to do that. That's not to say Mene's event is going to suck - I like Mene's events because they're more personal. It's nice how the staff give up their time to run events and masquarade as NPCs for us. :)

Plus there's the half price commons to look forward to. :drool:

Also, Mene's event pulls everyone together and creates a nice atmosphere. There are some people that I only see during events because they hang in forums I don't usually visit. XD I wouldn't try chatting in the S.I.N. or B.O.O. forums on Gaia.. all the threads there are titled "FOLLOW ME!!11" and move at the speed of light. XDDD


@ Rabid Rainbow: I don't even know what the items are.. XD I think I'm just on there because Mene's event has yet to start. :lol:

I am from Gaia too and I only started playing it recently(my name is Tigrosharu over on gaia) it is really fun but the Cash Shop is kinda unfair since all the really cool stuff is there; other than that I love it and I like playing it..

Gaia's events are nice in that that they have a bunch of different ways to get lots of event items plus a manga update, but I don't talk to anyone there.

Menewsha has a nice commons update with their event items plus you get the event currency for actually chatting with people, so you actually get to hang out with your friends for the event rather than just play a battle game.

Yeah, I'm sick of all the battle games for Gaia's events. (And Skittles, I'm so sick of Skittles! XD)
I'm kind of sad that the people in the shops didn't really dress up this year...only in the BOO or SIN robes. :( Except for Edmund. xD
I'm not getting the whole weapon charge thing on the missions page. What makes it go up anyway?

I got bored of the event fast. You don't talk to anyone, it only takes like 15 minutes to get 100 followers and then it take HOURS to get fully leveled up in everything. And all the repetitive clicking is so annoying. I rather preferred the summer event over this one and I had found the summer event dull. At least you interacted with other users, even if it were just on the battle field.

I know, this event is really boring...you just pick missions from a list and find people to follow you. And I guess the missions make the weapon charge up more...but SIN is always like 5% ahead of BOO.

Well, honestly I hope S.I.N. wins because I want to keep the skin. The overseer skin is just lame. There's nothing interesting about it. It looks like the developers took two minutes to make it >__<

I wonder if they will make the loosing skin a potion for the skin tyte shop.

I can see them doing that... or making it for the cash shop. They've done it for every event since 05.
