Ace nodded a little. "Yeah, two bags of ice." he muttered. The guy really punched hard, his cheek was throbbing. As for his head, he wasn't sure if he was bleeding or not, so he just shrugged. "Don't know if I'm bleeding." he said. Looking at Ren, he blinked a little. So Hotaru actually had a brother, and somehow he was living with Janice and Hotaru. God I need to be informed more often.

"Kay." She said, giving him another kiss and then going downstairs to the kitchen. She noticed Lydia and Keel talking about marriage and rolled her eyes."Two timing.."She grabbed the two packs of ice and went upstairs, handing Ace 2 and making him sit down so she could look at his head."I can't tell if its bleeding or not." She said, kissing the bruise on his face and then putting one of the ice bags on the spot on his head."Janice isn't going to like this.."

Ace made a small face as he sat down, holding still while she inspected his head. He sighed a little, holding the ice to his bruise. "No she's not." he muttered. "Thus why I say that it happened due to a jealous ex boyfriend from a random girl." he said. There was no way he was going to tell her the guy that she might have a crush on hit her brother and almost tried to kill him. Neither was he going to say what happened this day. She didn't need the stress.

"I am really sorry about Hotaru....." Ren said to them before he picked the statuettes up and turnned to walk out the room, he then went back to Janice's house, walking in as he set them down on the coffee table in the living room. He looked towards the bleeding man on the couch and sighed heavily, he had found him in Janice's room of course so he had to clean the mess up. He ran another hand through his hair before he pull the medkit out, cleaning up Hotaru's wound, carefully pulling the bullet out of him before he began to bandage him up. He prayed that he would get better, that he would actually live, even if he didn't and wantted to die. Ren then cleaned evverything up, washing his hands before he found som wood glue and glued the head back on to the wood figure of his brother. He garabbed the paints out of the room his was sleeping in, and began to paint them very carefully, not putting to much pinat on them and not slipping up like others would.

Katie looked at Ace with a small sigh."Want to go to bed?" She asked, rubbing his shoulders."It'll pass the time so you can see Janice sooner." She said, a small smile to brighten things."You brought up girls!Even though you didn't bring up an exact name, you brought up that you were with random girls so that counts. You owe me." She said, kissing the side of his face before going to her bag so she could get out night clothes. It was already 3;00 so she figured she could just have a lazy day and sleep.

Ace raised an eyebrow before he chuckled, nodding a little. "Yeah.. Let's get to sleep. And I only brought it up as an excuse, but fine. We both owe each other." he said, smirking lightly as he laid down on the bed, waiting for her to join so they could sleep a bit.

She rumaged threw her closet and turned."What should I wear?" She asked slyly, realizing that it was stupid to not know what you wanted to wear to bed. She sat down at the end of the bed and then crawled up by him."Screw it."She mumbled, putting her head on his chest."I'm sorry you've had such a bad day.." She said, stroking his arm."And if Hotaru ever touches you again then I'm going to kick his ass.."She muttered.

Ace chuckled, letting it go as he put an arm around her to pull her closer. The other hand still had the ice to his cheek. "It's fine. He just got a bit too, heated I suppose." he said, frowning a little. Shaking his head he shrugged. "Well.. Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit better." he said, smirking before closing his eyes halfway. "We'll figure something out."

"Tomorrow will suck." She said, pulling her sweater off since it was a lot warmer here then it was there. She just got up and threw her jeans off, pulling shorts on and then folding her jeans and sweater and putting them in her dirty clothes area by her suitcase. She pulled on a black tank top and got back into bed, letting him hold her again."I'm scared.." She sighed."What if something goes wrong? I mean..our doctors and idiot and he's going to cut me open!"

Ace frowned, shaking his head. "He better do well or else he dies." he muttered, adjusting himself for both their comfort.

"Aww, I feel so loved." She said sarcastically and then giving him a kiss."But seriously..what if this is the last time you see me not in a casket!" She said, her eyes widened before digging her head into the pillow."I like my stomach...I don't want to die.." She mumbled to herself before burying her head in his chest."So send your sister my love." She grinned.

Ace raised an eyebrow before kissing her cheek. "This isn't the last time I'll see you alive. The doctor's going to do well. And I'm going to be with you." he said. He figured he would be with Katie for the time that he was allowed, and then go drop by quickly to see Janice. That is if Hotaru wasn't there. He'd have to let the other people know that he could be allowed in. He sighed somewhat. "I'll let her know if the doctor kicks me out of the room."

"No Ace, I want you with your sister..anyways. Why would you want to see the inside of my stomach?" She raised an eyebrow."The doctors room thing gets pretty messy.." She mumbled, kissing him softly."So i'd rather you be with her..unless Hotaru comes." She said, giving him another kiss."But what if I die or get infected?" She complained.

Ace just smirked and shook his head, flicking her forehead. "If you keep thinking that way, you're just going to worry yourself about nothing. You won't get infected and you won't die. So don't worry about it." he said. He nodded before glancing down at her. "Well, I'll be outside and with you for what I can then, alright?"

Katie frowned."Be with Janice." She said, giving him another kiss and putting her hand under his shirt to feel his chest."Least I had a good two days before my surgery...well today wasn't good but yesterday was." She winked."So if I died..how much would you miss me?" She asked, grinning slightly before giving him another kiss.

Ace rolled his eyes, kissing her back. "You're not going to die. And I'd miss you very much." he answered, giving her a small kiss. "Today was good, in the beginning." he said, smirking lightly before closing his eyes. "Well, after tomorrow, you'll at least stop throwing up and being sick."

"And I won't be as repulsive when you kiss me.." She muttered, giving him a kiss on the cheek."Yes it was a good morning." She smirked." Too bad we can't do anything to brighten our moods now, we cant tease or anything since if we tease each other then thats cruel and if we do anything else we'd be breaking promises.."She said, giving him a small kiss."I know i'll be fine..but still..the thought of that idiot cutting me open sends shivers down my spine."She said, wrinkling her nose in disgust.

He nodded a little. "Well, think about something else?" he offered. He closed his eyes a little before kissing her lightly, leaning his head back against the pillow. "And yeah, it does suck."

"You want your reward for winning against Drake and Si'la?" She asked, fluttering her eye lashes and giving him a small smirk. What she was going to do was probably nothing like he expected..and sort of mean but it would make her laugh."I'm feeling much better.."She grinned.

Ace raised an eyebrow at opened one eye in time to see her smirk. He shrugged a little, not really sure what she was planning. "Depends on what it is." he said. He was seriously going to try and not do anything that they'd promised not to do.

"Ugh, your no fun!" She said, sighing a little."I wasn't going to do anything like that..just a simple kiss." She said, leaning in and giving him a long kiss."There. you've been rewarded."She smirked, giving another kiss."I swear i'm going to try and keep to our promise until you love me." She said, putting her head back on his chest."Wanna play cards or do something not depressing?" She smiled, sitting up and taking a drink from the whiskey bottle.

Ace kissed her back, leaning in before she broke it. He laughed a little. "Sorry? And yeah, me too. But we can still kiss." he said smirking lightly before kissing her again. He tilted his head and raised an eyebrow. "Cards? I suppose we can do that if you'd like."

She pulled him closer and continued to kiss him before breaking to take a breath."Heh. You choose, cards or kissing?" She smirked, sitting up."You always beat me in cards so if we play I want to play GO fish." She grinned."I can't go wrong in go fish.."She said, putting her hands on his shoulders before giving him another kiss."I feel bad that we left Drake and Si'las so quickly.."

Ace chuckled, pulling her back down. "I'm sure they'll understand.. I mean, it was an emergency. And, I'd choose the latter on those choices." he said before catching her lips with his own again, not pulling away yet.

She trailed her fingers up his chest until both her hands had his shoulders so she could pull him more into the kiss, she smirked a little in it and decided to just let things go instead of talking about the surgery tomorrow. She ran one of her hands threw his hair and closed her eyes since it was odd to have your eyes open when she kissed him..especially since it made you go cross eyed! She luaghed when he had pulled her back down and was back in his arms in moments tops, though not breaking the kiss.
