Well, I guess a few big ones, but by no means the complete list, are Aerosmith, Journey, Third Eye Blind, Creedance Clearwater Revival, and more.

mewmew07, Within Temptation and Globus are both considered alternative rock... depending on the song or album. I LOVE Journey's song Separate Ways!!!

One of their songs, "Sophia" is basically my moral code in a non-religious standpoint but could be said as a prayer to music.

I'm also very fond of "Quicksilver" Which has an awesome music video set to it as well.

Having to start uni at 9 every day is starting to catch up with me. It's just after 2pm here, just going to have a lazy day in.

Nightwish is awesome D: I was in this year in their consert and it was awesome.

mewmew... Globus is American and tied to Immediate. Immediate has done a lot of music for movies. They finally got smart and created a band of their own. Within Temptation is European in origin and band members, however their music is in English. Both bands are not popular mainstream... but withing their genres they are exceedingly popular.

lol - my old job required me to stay up late but now that I'm a teacher and get up at 6:00AM....there is no hope of me staying up late or sleeping in anymore XD

haha yes - and being a first year teacher - I'm always sick :(

I'm a teacher as well, but I'm taking time out to gain as much stamina back from my disability properly instead of working myself into the Emergency Room/A&E like I did last time I worked. Wrestling with the government. Every single little step takes months and months to process and go through, it is horribly frustrating. I've had countless dreams where I'm teaching again ;_;

I just finished my first year and am on my second... starting to get the hang of it but since I am outside my content area I am extremely frustrated often since no curriculum, textbooks or standards were provided. They say "teach English" and then walk away. Pfoot.
