Kaylita laughed all the harder and looked at him shaking her head as tears ran down her cheeks. "Oh God! That was hillarious!" she said and then looked at him. "Well I must be really good at selling a story like that then." she said still laughing and got an idea. Once she got her laughing fit undercontrol she crawled over to him and smiled. She looked into his eyes and wrapped an arm around his neck. "We should really do that more often." she said smiling and then kissed him softly.

"Whoah.... whoah. you gotta be kidding me." He frowned and leaned back, eyes wide as he stared at her, "And are you seriously implying something like that?" He blushed and shook his head biting his lip, "I mean. Your, not like that." He slid back across the carpet and leaned against the wall, "I mean, I only met you yesterday." He smirked, "besides, I'm still not sure I subscribe to your entire 'fated ones' idea."

Kaylita grinned and shook her head. "Ah ha...." she said seeing his blush. She smiled and got up. "Really? And yet who was the one who said they could get used to this while having a hand around my waist?" she said raising an eyebrow. She the. Smiled and shook her head. "Anyways, stay I'll be right back." she said grabbed a package andthrn walking into the bathroom. She came out minutes later wearing black leather pants, a white off the shoulder tee shirt and a black corset over it. "Much better... Remind me to return Amy's clothes sometime. She said and sat on the bed.

He raised an eyebrow and chuckled, "Oh? and what would you be wearing instead hmm?" Rubbing his eyes he sighed and stood up very slowly and glancing away quickly, "besides, I was talkin about pissing the old man off. i could get used to THAT." he muttered and looked at his robe, frowning, "And look at this I actually gotta wash this. Damn it. It's supposed to stay clean." He pulled it off quickly and dropped it next to him, showing off an old tee and cargo shorts. "What... you look like you where expecting something."

Kaylita smiled and looked at him. "Yes I was... They were suposed to send me my sword..." she said and looked out the window. She folded her arms over her chest and then sighed heavily. "I was hoping they would send it." she muttered and then grabbed his robe. With a wave of her hand it was clean and she smiled handing it back to him. "Better?" she asked. She was on edge. Why would her friends be able to bring her clothes and not her sword... Unless the council stopped them....

"Well. Why don't you, y'know, look into it?" Grabbing the robe he frowned, "Besides, I'm sure you can find another sword somewhere. Hell I bet theres a whole bunch in this place somewhere right?" He shrugged and folded the robe up and frowned, "Anyway, This things getting a bit too hot. Plus no ones quite as impressed around here. I miss the old days when people thought I was some all powerfull warlock or something." He muttered and straightend out his clothes looking out the window, "Besides, shouldn't you be more worried about, you know, cutting your first day of classes?"

Kaylita smiled and looked at him. She shook her head and frowned. "Im worried about the council... They stopped my friends from giving me my sword..." she said and then grabbed his hand. "Together we can see farther." she said and closed her eyes. Their sight traveled deep into the woods and into an underground place. The council was staring coldly at her friends. They asked them again where she was. They said nothing and her uncle stood. He hit her friends with magic and they fell to their knees in pain. He then turned and growled feeling her presence. Kaylita gasped and pulled away from Kevin breaking the trance. "He almost saw us..."

He frowned and blinked, "Oh now... thats just mean. I don't like when people are mean. At least, people that aren't me that is." He smirked and shook his head, "And now I'm annoyed." He stretched and raised an eyebrow, "You think it can wait till tomorrow? I think I might have an idea..." He turned away and walked to the door, "and, do me a favor. Don't do anything stupid. I've had to save your ass once, and thats more than my usual 'Damsel In Distress' Quota. thank you very much." He opened her door and stepped out. Right... Time to hit the books... need someplace comfy and warm. He glanced around and started down the hall, "Oh what? I'm cutting class, shocking." He snapped as one of the older students approached him.

Stepping into the sunlight he grinned, he laid down on the grass and closed his eyes slowly, Right... time to see if that old hag's still eavesdropping on my... Oh hey there!

The world was dark around him as he frowned, an old woman with long dark gray hair stared at him from the floor, "Well well, I figured you'd be watching me." He sat down next to her and grinned, "So. Tell me. Whattya know. and what do I need to know?"

"Hmm? You asking me? I thought you said 'get outta my head you dirty old hag. I can do shit on my own!"

"Cut the crap and talk."

"Well now. You've changed." The old woman sat up and grinned, "Your intrested in something specific hmm? Tell me what your looking for sonny."

"You know what I'm here for, you got what I want?" he sighed and began to pick at his pants carelessly.

"Keep your pants on sonny. Yes, and you are right. But even in here, getting ready for that is not something you can just pull off with a binge of studying." Groaning, she stood up, straightened her back and glared down at him, "Not that I should bother, your just going to try any way aren't you?

"Wow Gram's your starting to learn a thing or two, books?" He waved his hand at the blank landscape, "or are you going to say no?"

"Insolent little whelp. Give me a minute, I'm not as young as I once was." Waving her hand limply a massive column appeared and she began to fade away, "remember lad... call for me next time."

"yeah yeah," he muttered and turned to the books in front of him, "Right... lets get to work."

After having lunch at lunch break, Katie Fisher, one of the new kids, went outside with a piece of homework to sit in the sun while she did it. Shielding the sun from her eyes, she found a dapple shaded patch under a tree and laid out a blanket to sit on. She sat down with her legs crossed and opened her books, bringing her mind back to where it had been at the end of that lesson so she could remember what to do.

Similarly, Thomas Kite had also gone outside to do some work after eating lunch except he was up the tree above her, one leg on either side of the branch he sat upon and leaning against the tree trunk. The movement of Kate coming to sit down below him caught his eye.

"Hello again. It's Kate isn't it?" he called. Kate looked up to find who's voice it was and smiled, brushing her dark black hair out of her face with the free hand that wasn't keeping her place in her textbook.

"Hello again." she repeated. "Yes it is. And you're Tom?"

The young neko boy nodded, his grey ears twitching slightly. He nimbly climbed down the tree to join her on the blanket, bringing his things.

Kaylita looke at Kevin and smiled. "Fine..." she groaned knowing he was right. She layed on her bed and went ink her trance like state. She walked threw her dream scape and began making it look like her woodland home. She sighed longingly as she watched a five year old version of Secari running around laughing happily. She smiled and made a little Amy appear and both played together. She then sighed and looked at the blue sky. "God why can't we Just live here?" she asked and even put Kevin in their sitting on a tree branch and starin at the sky.

He frowned, "aura manipulation magicks are the most... blah blah blah." He grinned and stretches. cracking his neck and frowning, "If I read one more of those introductions I will go insane." He leaned against the bookshelf and sighed, rubbing his eyes. "Even if this is just a dream, I'm still getting tired." He looked around and watched the darkness swirl around the book shelves. Than he noticed a small speck of light and sighed, "I forgot... I'm not alone anymore... ever." he muttered and glared at the white speck than turned back to the books, "Well I'm begining to get a good idea of the mechanics... I wonder if I can actually do it." Standing up he reached out and touched the side of the book case, watching it fade away, he turned to look at the speck and shook his head.

He sat up quickly and groaned, rubbing his head, "Great. Now my heads been crammed... lessee if this works." He glanced around the yard and frowned, "Right... classes... no one around... dammit..." he turned and started towards the dorms.

Kaytlia frowned. Her dream scape shattered as she walked over to her door. She needed fresh air. She walked slowly feeling much more comfortable in her regular elven clothes and walked around for awile. She knew if she stepped outside she would be so tempted to go to her uncle and demand the meaning of all this, but Kevin was right. It would be unwise to act on an impulse right now. She then spotted him and smiled. "Well did you have a nice nap?" she asked having spotted him sleeping from her window before going into her meditation.

"Hmm? Oh that? no... thats not a nap..." He winced and rubbed his eyes, "I just crammed about three weeks of intensive study into about an hour. Not nice. Usefull, but not nice." he grunted and shook his head, "But I think I got somethin usefull." He grinned, "Attack me."

Kaylita looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "You are so strange." she said and sighed shaking her head. She then shrugged and looked into his eyes. "Dont cry when I knock you on your ass okay? I don't want to get expelled on my first day." she said and then aimed a round house kick at his head.

He felt her move before he saw it and frowned, Right... I do this... focus here he bit his lip and focused a quick burst into his aura. It suddenly solidified and smacked against the kick. "Wow... that works. Kinda surprised actually." He grinned and raised an eyebrow, "something a bit more substantial now?"

Kaylita hd her amusement at his little aoura burst but said nothing. He has no idea how long Ive known how to do that... She then thought about it and looked at him. "Like what?" she said and then got an idea. She grabbed him by the shoulder and which a twist of movement she was flipping him towards the ground in seconds.

He bit his lip, closed his eyes and focused around himself. he landed, bounced, and rolled up onto his feet without any trouble, "Now I did NOT mean to do it like that, but it works." He grinned and cocked his head, "Something magical now? I want to test something... special."

Kaylita chuckled and shook her head. "Alright," she said and in a flash had figured out the right attack. "Ill try a physical attack inhanced by magic first okay?" she said giving him fare warning. She then went for a kick her foot glowing and went straight for his stomach.

He smirked, he saw the movement, the magic, and it clicked. He understood. "Just like before... Damn I'm good." He muttered as he shrugged, two heavy layers of aura glowing between him and her foot. the glowing fading away and the foot getting caught in the air. "Its exactly like earlier. With the wings and theory... you know... hmm?" He chuckled and waved her back, "something real now?"

Kaylita raised an eyebrow at him and shrugged. "Okay, but you must share your geneous because your 'its just like this' or 'hmmm's dont exactly explain alot." she said smartly and then thought of a spell. Saying nothing she casually flicked her wrist sending the magic at him at top speed.

He smirked, "I will explain later... but right now..." he glanced at the spell whizzing at him. Suddenly, everything froze and he grinned, "well thats interesting, but..." he looked at his body, "I can't move... hmm... okay what am I looking at..." he returned to the spell and watched as it broke itself down to its basic components in front of him. "Fascinating." He looked at his blazing aura and frowned, concentrating hard he watched as things began to move again, slowly at first. Resuming normal rate quickly. "Not quick enough.... gotta... fuck." he winced as a majority of the spell hit his chest hard.

Surprised Kaylita watched in intrest but when the spell hit him she quickly grabbed his hand and made sure he didn't fall. She then took the paralizingness of the spell away and looked at him. "You should be a little more careful." she said and looked at him. "Cuz that hurt a little bit." she said having felt the impact ofthe spell.

He winced and smirked. "thash nothin..." he straigthened his shirt and frowned, "beshides... I thinksh i gotsh an idea..." he leaned against her and limped, "The... thing earlier... the bird thing... your spells... other stuffs...." he grinned, "I saw exactly how your movements worked, your magic, your spells. And adapted. That plus aura adaptation, and voila, 360 ultimate defense." He spat and closed his eyes, "But I just started studying the field... sooo... I'm shocked it actually worked. Literally."

Kaylita looked at him and smiled. "Well I'm glad you figured that out..." she said and then pressed a hand to his forbear and stopped. "Good." she said just making sure he didn't get any side effects. "Well the shock will be over in about a minute or two... So until then where are you planning on going?" she asked and got an idea. "I wonder how bad your father is flipping now?"

"Oh, I looked in on him... some other kids dragged his completely frozen ass to the nurses. Hes still in shock." He grinned and shook his head and pointed to the barrier, "theres something I want to look at..." he chuckled sheepishly, "Mind helping me over?"
