The sad thing is, I'm logged in every day, yet haven't collected any of the items in three or four months. The focus on items is gone, for sure. I'm trying to get art with what I have, but the market's so slow all around.

Oooh, girls' night! That sounds fun. Not much has happened here, which is a good thing. I need to clean some and that's it. I'm feeling anxious about work, and I'm not sure why.

Ah, the housing. Well, that's the main source of anxiousness I'm sure. We put it into contract a week or two ago... time's kinda melting my brain, but it was recently. Anyhow, we're in the process of getting the real mortgage loan now to secure the financing bit. While we were preapproved, I can't help but think something's going to fall through. The lender had given us misinformation based on the other person I talked to, so it's left me feeling less than confident. I should be able to get answers tomorrow, and if everything makes sense, I'll send in what paperwork we have. We should hear back next week whether our finances are approved.

If that's the case, we could close in May. The latest it'll be is June 30th, as that's written in the sales contract. Our landlord was cool with us moving to a month-to-month lease, too. If I know before I mail off May's rent, I'll give him the 30 day notice then.

I'm trying to figure out when to begin my new job. I sent an email a week ago, letting them know I passed my NCE, and haven't heard back. I wanted to get a feel for when THEY are ready. I'd love to just have two weeks off in between jobs to get the house crap sorted, then start at the new place. I have a feeling I'll be doing the new job training alongside closing. 9_9

Oh goodness, Chi. That is a lot of things going on at once. I should be less interested in Menewsha right now, but I'm not. So I end up really screwing around instead of doing schoolwork. Heh.

It is. The stickler is I don't (not can't) want to commit to the new job until I know when we're closing. If the tenants currently in there secured new housing, the closing date is literally only contingent on the financing going through. If that were the case, I'd ask to start the new job in June.

If not, I really should ask if I can begin ASAP at the job, because work at the company is getting a little more tense than I'd like. I'll likely be able to make a plan tomorrow after speaking to the bank lender, so there shouldn't be a problem.

I understand feeling a bit in limbo. I'm in limbo right now with the teaching. I am applying to a job for fall, but I can't really make plans until I know.

I hate that feeling. It's so frustrating! Dx

At least it's only until July 6th. I'm trying to do my homework and I just....hate it so much! I can easily come up with lessons for high school science...which I'll ACTUALLY be teaching. But elementary reading?

Makes me think back to stats and me asking what it had to do with therapy. I know its importance with regard to digesting research articles, but hell, someone in crisis isn't going to rely on me pulling on that knowledge to get them through.

I don't envy you, at all. I am so resistant to even thinking about school. To be honest, I barely studied for my NCE. I studied, but maybe four or five hours max? It was a joke in comparison to how much was riding on the test. Just can't do it right now. x_x; I have another exam May 20th... not required to work, but it'll give me an extra credential worth having in the field. Have I studied? Nope. I haven't even looked at sample exams to see where I am in competency. >_>;

Yeah, I don't mind taking well done, applicable classes. But you've got to give me some kind of bone to chew on. I am getting certified for 7-12 grade science. Shoving me into a literacy class is already make me pull on the reins. Forcing me to work with only elementary school information makes me want to buck and run.
I'm studying ish for my certification exam (which is thank god at least in science), but the class has left such a bad taste in my mouth, I don't want to study anything at all.

Yeah the weekend was a hoot. :)

I've just been kinda pulled in other directions and want to spend money on other things than pixels. I haven't really gotten into Menewsha in awhile. I'm thinking of selling off what I know I'll never use and just keep things I'll like and use. Hopefully have enough for a rainbow tshirt.

Hang in there, Chi...sounds like you've got your plate full. If everything comes together it will be awesome. I know too well feeling like I'm in limbo. It isn't a fun feeling. :(

I am not sure if I got solid answers from anyone today regarding anything. At this point I'm going with the flow and hoping to make some sort of plan when I get more return phone calls. It was definitely a hectic day. I'm glad to be home and can't wait for dinner. STARVING. x.<;

My day was pretty hectic too. They took all my conferences away and my lunch ended up being only 15 minutes long. I'm so tired. And now I go to teach dance. *dies*

I baked muffins, finally. Terra's been begging for them for weeks. We've been trying to keep as frugal as possible with the groceries and failing.

It's been semi-chaotic here too at work. Last week of the sales, so we've gone through some super busy spurts.

I have a feeling in a couple of weeks it will die right down and I'll be begging for hours, though.

I've also been trying to squeeze out what I can out of job 2, as I submit it here in the next couple of days and don't want it to be total lacking...

I'd just keep on trucking like you're doing Chi. It may all work out in the end, but if not you learn from your mistakes. You're getting closer to that goal of yours, which is super exciting! :)

And yep, I'll just keep moving forward. If the housing falls through, it's nothing we've done wrong per say. If it does fall through, we'll be able to get the credit card paid off, and most of the car, so there are plus sides. I sure do hope it works out though.

Work's chaotic right now. I'm hoping to get some type of assurance from my new job tomorrow (as in, contract to sign or something). A lot of drama is going on at work, and it's possible (not certain) we may just shut down. Some workers are attempting to strike, and I understand their reasons. However, I worry that enough businesses are burned out that they'll all just say, "Sorry, can't pay you more." I can't speak for other local businesses, but for ours we have been in the red for several years now. :/ If we pay more out, we're going under anyway, so...

Haha, well, I managed to hurt my pinkie knuckle dancing which was less than graceful.
