I finally got 20 to get the wings. Now I'm saving up again for the next item.

No need to feel stupid, hummy. Sometimes problems are just more involved than what we can do at home without help. I don't know how I'll ever make it on my own sometimes, as I hate talking on the phone period. I always dread having to speak to someone and explain something sometimes, especially when there's a problem.

I'm so far behind on this event. I've only got seven tokens for the whole thing, though that's mostly because I haven't been able to get on until late, and don't have a lot of time to post. Thankfully I might have more time over the next two days, as I'm off work, so I might have some more free time.

hi rose, same i hate talking on the phone more then in person

especially if it's an automated phone call to start off with

speically if it has tons of different things till it gets to the one you want
just to have that go on with more to pick from

I think my problem is partly that I over worry about what I'll say, what the other person will say, etc. I don't mind starting out automated sometimes, as long as the machine can understand me as well. Though, when I was younger, I used to wonder at first, 'Do I have to talk to anyone, or is it just a machine prompt thing?' About one thing I hate more than calling people, is leaving messages for people, somehow I hate talking to voicemails, and get tongue-tied especially there.

My mom actually calls me 'phone-a-phobic' because of my issue. Even though I have a cellphone, I don't use it much except to text family, and if someone calls and I don't know the number, it goes straight to voicemail. If they leave a message, they might be lucky to get a call back, but depending on the situation, they might not.

Most of the time it's easier for me to just leave a text message than to speak it out. Well, I think and speak slow and all.
That's why I'd always ignore calls and such. Oops :x
