It's great to get back into doing something you love.
I used to skate quite often when I was 5-7 with my dad and cousins, but I stopped now.
I can't even stop well on skates xD

Lenna and her cousins and brothers used to go ice skating every Xmas eve. Lenna fell on her bum every year. T_T

O skating on Christmas sounds fun! Awww. I fell a ton too, although I went so often that I stopped falling after a while.
One of the reasons why I like skiing better than skating is because when you fall while you are skating it hurts a lot more D:

Lenna has never skiied before. I would also fall on my bum, I'm sure. XD

*sigh* It kind of makes me want Xmas to come now...XD

You haven't?! Is it because you live in an area that doesn't get snow most of the time or are there other reasons.
I live in Canada so we got tons of snow every year.
Skiing is tons of fun and while you do fall you don't fall nearly as much as you do when you skate, trust me ;D

Ya it is! Although now I do not enjoy skiing as much as before because it's really lonely when you do it yourself. My friends are all reluctant to go skiing because they don't usually do it and it's pretty expensive. It's around $50 for a ski-lift pass for one day.

For an entire day, I guess that's not so bad. It's nearly more expensive to go to Worlds of Fun or other ride park thingys. Lenna doesn't go to those...she's afraid of roller coasters!

Ya it isn't. However spending 8 hours straight skiing will DEFINITELY kill you. You will start feeling numb everywhere, get windburn, and just be exhausted xD
On average I usually spend only 4-5 hours skiing in a day and the rest of the time I am relaxing and warming up.

Heh true amusement parks are pretty expensive.
Aw you are? Do you just dislike heights or just being hurled down heights at a fast speed? I like most roller coasters, however I stay away from the really extreme ones D:

It's fun though, and you definitely don't go as fast as if you were on a roller coaster.
