Woot to fellow uni students!!

It sucks to be a uni student right now though because I have a mid-term this Thursday so I can't get into this event because I have to study. D:
Then I am busy all weekend, o the sadness.

Ugh I'm pissy I haven't been able to get that much sleep this week. If I do, I don't really get to do my homework, and on top of that, I have a volunteer event that I have to prep for. Trying to dress up as a little kids' idol is hard work, especially when you have fake cinnamon buns on the sides of your hair.

Still not too fond of my four-hour break. I had a class this morning (and the professor talked briefly about Henry VIII so I was pretty comfortable with that) but I also have my other class at 2pm which I never look forward to. Trying to stay awake there is horrible even if the subject matter interests me.

I have a paper coming up which I'm dreading. I have never written a paper at this school before, and I'm told they have kinda high standards.

LOL yeah it's time to play catch up and it's like, what, the fourth week of school for me? Or fifth? I'm not sure. I already lost count. Sarofset, are you at a new school or is this an entry essay paper?

I'm trying to copy down powerpoints at the moment, but it turns out there are 50+ slides in everything ;_; I'm trying to finish one up before class...got like, 40 more minutes here at the library. Didn't bring my laptop because it's raining.

At least my consolation prize was sitting next to a cute guy in class this morning??

I've been so bad lately. This is the third drawing class I've just downright skipped. Miss one more, and it's automatic fail. I think. Unless it was this one. Hell if I know. I'm going to transfer out of art school. It's entirely killed my passion for art and just my overall ambition. Time to take up some anthropology instead.

I'm still not totally sure what I want, but I'm thinking Geology. I love it. It's amazing to learn about the whole world, to start seeing how earth itself flows and moves. It's like seeing through God's eyes.

Anything that I sign up for via classes I loved before the class, and then at the end I completely hate it.

Take Costume Design for example. I had it about a year ago, and after that, I don't wanna draw anymore.
Last semester I had Costume Draping, on half-scale forms. Less work, right? Wrong. I don't want to be a designer anymore.

Then stop doing that. Maybe do a class about something you hate, and you'll end up liking it? lol.

I just got home a while ago, intending to make RP replies but I'm chillin...literally 'coz it's cold and rainy today, so it'll take a while. You?

Marguerite: That's pretty much why I'm switching. To get away from the classes that are making me hate art. I still want to study it, but not as my primary focus. I just want to get better at art to achieve the goals I want, which happen to line up perfectly with Anthropology.

It's why I made theatre my minor (so I could learn to make nicer clothes). But it ain't helping because it just drives me up the wall. So now, History major. My morning class makes me love it, but my afternoon class makes me want to stab my eyes with a fork.

Well, at least with a History major you can't be graded on whether or not the teacher likes that particular shade of pink. ;D

True, but I still have to be graded on whether or not my argument is good or not. Even if it's a topic I know by heart. >.<

I love my history class. It's tomorrow morning. Hopefully it'll cheer me up a bit.

The only thing I dislike about History classes are the tests, honestly. But I guess that's just 'cause I don't normally study very much. (Is going to need to change that greatly)

I've got Theatre and then Theatre tomorrow. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are all History classes. Tuesday and Thursday are Theatre.
