I'm not expecting to finish and at this rate I highly doubt I'll meet my goal either.

Camp Nano I set my goal for like, only 20000 words in hopes that I could get that but ugh no cigar. I'm just not good at writing goals. Haha. I'm too whipped by my muses.

I stupidly set mines to 50,000 (I guess that's what it was defaulted at) so yeah. I wonder if I can change it....

You should be able to for Camp Nano? It's only the official Nano site that demands 50000 for November. But Camp Nano, you should be able to set your own word goal. :D

Oooo okay. I'll have to look at it later.

50k is way out of my league. On the days I can write (which is like every other if I'm lucky) I'm managing at most 1k. >> << >> So yeah.

Yeah. If you think about it, 50000 divided by 31 is 1603 words a day, at least. So. Yeah. Most I can sit down and accomplish is maybe 1500 words if I'm feeling the motivation to do so, but that's rare.

i wonder what i could do... i don't think anything i would write in that amount of time would make any sense what so ever though.

*nods* Yeah and falling behind even one day doubles that to 3206 so it's nearly impossible to catch up after awhile if you miss a couple days.

I dunno. By my estimations, I wrote 7 going onto 8 pages and I counted early there's roughly 300 words on both sides of the page. If this holds I may have written close to 2400 words today :O

*blinks* You know... I don't think I ever wrote down the general synopsis... so here's one quickly thrown together haha. Forgive me, my summary abilities are a bit weak.

Abstract Reality:
Book 1: Checkmate

War is at the doorsteps of the Shinrei Empire, something Empress Hotaru Suzuki wants to avoid at all cost. But enemies lurk both outside and inside and it all comes down to who to trust. Meanwhile the key to stopping the war lies with a rebel named Asho who found himself the newest recruit to the Numbers the elite army of the Master who rules the Kingdom of Tyst with a tyrant fist. All around, things are cracking...

haha I hope so! I'm gonna run into a problem soon though. After the current chapter I'm working on I got nothing else planned except for the next big event that needs to happen in the middle/towards the end of the book and I have no idea how I'm going from the beginning to there.

Here's a mini-synopsis for the two things I wanted to complete this year, but can't sit down and write for unless the fancy strikes.

Cassiopieae "Cassie" Corwin comes from a mixed line of Fae and witchcraft. When a young boy goes missing after a night at a famous Fae bar, Cassie is sucked into a mystery much bigger than she thought and it puts her on the map. Now she's being targeted for the same reason her mother was put under a curse when she was five years old- her Fae ancestry. Breaking her vow to never enter Underhill, she puts herself in the midst of enemies and friends to find the missing boy and find out why her mother was cursed, and who did it so they can reverse it.

Tentatively Titled: Sophie Warren's Adventures in Hot Men and General Badassery

Sophie Warren is a 29 year old bartender under the servitude of the local werewolf alpha. Some wonder why a human works at a bar that serves mostly non-humans, but Sophie has a secret that only seven people know; four of whom are dead, one missing, one is her employer and the other is one of her best friends. She's a natural born necromancer with control over the dead (or so she thinks.) When the ghost of a girl recently murdered in the woods comes to find Sophie, she originally resists helping her. But eventually she gets curious and tries to find her killers. When she realises what her killers are hoping to summon with their sacrifices, she has no choice but to get involved.

And I have another idea about a loner werejackal that comes to be the protector of a child of prophecy. But I haven't thought much about it.

Book 2: Angels And Reapers

For Serphia, Lady Kindness and the leader of the Angels, all she wants is peace and a chance to reconnect with her previously thought to be dead older sister. The newest leader of the Reapers, Pride for once agrees with her. The fighting between the two races has to stop. What Serphia doesn't know is that secrets run deep and everything she thought she once knew as true turns out to be nothing but a lie. Then... everything breaks.

Ooo both sound really interesting. I hope inspiration strikes you soon. The first one I really sounds interesting (mostly cause Fae~ \o/ )

I always like fantasy stories.
Not so much on werewolf. XD I love sparkles, glitter and prettiness too much.

It's not just werewolves in that story, though. There's were-any animal combo I'll dream up. ;) Vamps are in it, too. Part of why people like Sophie are so rare- vamps have a nasty habit of killing necromancers seeing as they can control the dead and vampires are, for all intents and purposes, dead.

But she's not really a necromancer- she doesn't actually have magic in that sense. She has something called Death's Grace, which is entirely more rare and more powerful since there are barely any limits on what a person with Death's Grace can do. Sophie was stillborn and was dead for 43 minutes. But during that time as a dead infant, she met Death, and Death sent her back to her body and that's how she got the ability of 'Death's Grace'. She can control the dead, talk to and control ghosts, can even bring the dead back to life through pure power of will so long as they haven't been dead for too long and take life, although taking a life leaves her immensely drained of energy, and she has been warned it could kill her.

She can't 'cure' vampirism, though. She's tried and it didn't end well.
