Welcome to Thorn Academy,
You the student have been selected because of your gifts to join this school. the curicular is something not usually thought of by most of your human comrads. Please, come to the air port at 5 o'clock sharp. All of your things will be transported by us so just bring yourself... Oh and another thing, the number of your flight is 30. we do not accept stragglers and in this school you do not have to hide. I hope you will join us, and this letter will become a map in ten seconds.

Welcome to Thorn Academy. Here there is where you dont have to hide. All races are welcome and all are incorraged to use their powers. Our curicular consists of Defesence against magic, swords play, music, star gazing,, fortune telling, art, magic weilding, self control, the anatomy of the soul, and heaven choir. Here there is a seven period day and lunch is one and everyone dines at breakfeast, lunch, and dinner together. Being late to any of these meals means no food for the meal you are late to.

The Houses
There are four different houses in this school and all students will be sorted on first arrival, at dinner. Many of you will be bording with someone from your own house and some shall not but all the rooms are sectioned off into four towers. The Freshmen tower, the Sophmore tower, the Junior tower, and the Senior tower.
The Heavenly House
This house is for those pure in heart, mind, soul, and/or body. The occupants of this house are known for their gentleness and love as much as their outstanding grades and their ability to hold the Heaven festival every year. The Heaven festival is a day in which the groups of this house come together to create an amazingly wonderful snow castle in the huge court yard. This fesitval takes place every Chrismas.
The Lilly House
This house is known for those graceful, true, heroic, brave, courageous, soft, and artistic. This house house is know for their artisticness as much as their amazing fighting skills which they have turned into a beautiful art. They hold the Dueling contests every year. The winner of the duel gets world renouned fame and popularity and love beyond all else for one's courage, and all houses are welcome to join this wonderous contest. This is held on the first day of fall September 23.
The Trickster House
This house lives up to its name for its people. They are sly, clever, ingenious, quick, myschievious, playful, and outgoing. This house is known for the quick wit and the outstanding grades that surpass the Heavenly houses. They hold the Festival of Ghosts every year and hold the tricks and haunting in the dining hall. This of course is on Halloween.
The Snake House
This house is known for its dark and devious occupants. These are the misunderstood and more violent students and their dark thoughts and ideas. Though not much is certian for this group, many believe they are a cult. Thought this is not true. This house hasnt had a champion in anything for years... And much dishonor weighs on their hearts for past deeds.

Graduation
When the students are about to graduate they take a test pairing them with another student of the same grade and they are given a few mounths to get to know eachother. When they graduate they graduate together adn are given a potion ensuring true love with their deplomas.

Bio: Asher grew up in a complete life of luxury. His father had owned a wealthy and profitable megacorp. His mother, on the other hand, was an elf refugee that had stumbled into his father's office building after being chased by hunters. Soon they had a baby boy with the main features of a regular human, yet with slightly pointed ears and piercing orange eyes. Everything that was given to Asher while he was growing up was of the best quality: child care, education, clothes, food, you name it. Though wealthy, his family always was humble and taught him proper manners as well as respect and the true value of a dollar, nature, and the weather. Asher, on his own accord chose to quit being taught at home by all the best local teachers and start getting a feel for the real world during his last year of school, his senior year.
Personality: Asher is a carefree, yet aware, spirit and is always looking to have a fun time after studying has been completed. He hates being alone to his thoughts because they always give him head aches, you see he is always thinking and thinking and thinking of things, as the elf part of him is always aware and alert. As a very outgoing and handsome guy, Asher always finds himself to be somewhat the center of a gathering, making new friends as well as keeping up with old ones. He's making the very best of his last year.
Powers: Call of Nature: Being part elf gave Asher connections to nature that is impossible for humans. He can call on the local flora and fauna to do his bidding, unless a demon has empowered a creature. Then the work becomes harder.
Weapons: Wand: Because his mother was no longer being hunted, Asher was given her wand. This obviously was no wizarding wand, it is made from a particular tree that is full of energy and power and located in his mother's native lands. The wand provides Asher with a more powerful connection to nature as well as a new connection to the weather and seasons.

Biography: He was sent to several foster homes after accidentily killing his family with his new found powers. Finally, the care-takers sent him to Thorn Academy to hopefully get friends and put those deaths behind him, but they know it is going to take a miracle.
Personality: Quiet, pays attention, and gets good grades. However, he is always lonely and is not easy to talk to. Gets agitated from overly happy people and spends most his time in solitude.
Powers: Psychokinesis, small powers over most elements, and the ability to conjure false images.
Weapon: Sleeps with a dirk in his hand, but mostly uses a gunblade. (Long, hefty sword with the barrel of the gun near the tip, and the trigger on the handle.)
Extra: Watch out, don't get close when he sleeps, things get knifey.

Bio: Sophia was always smartest in her class. In fourth grade, she got sent up to tenthh grade. Her mother was always kind, her father always gentle. They sent her to Thorn to get a better education, and to go off to a good college.
Personality: Sophia is kind, gentle, and sweet. She loves friends, but so far, no one has tried to befriend her.
Powers: Water control.

Bio: Alice didn't know that she was special until her 14th birthday. She was with her friends celebrating her birthday when they came into gangsters. Her friends almost died due to the gangsters' brutality. She didn't know what to do and was afraid that she let out a really loud scream, causing her powers to awaken. A demon was summoned and killed the gangsters. Her mother found her knocked out on the street the next day and when she woke up, her mother told her that a friend of her mother asked her to adopt Alice for safety. Only her mother knows her true identity and unfortunately, her sister heard their conversation and said it to the whole family. They immediately didn't accept Alice. She wandered the streets for 1 year until an agent of Thorn Academy found her and trained her.

Bio: Louie had come to the school to learn to control himself, become stronger, and find a place to belong. Things were great for him the first three years till Mel Blackwater showed up. A childhood enemy. Through the thick of their fighting Louie's friend Livanna stood by him and helped him learn to control his anger and hate towards the hell hound female.
Livianna and Louie had a thing going for a while until Louie seemingly disappeared. His days he spent in class but the rest of his time he was away from the school. He'd follow Livianna sometimes and watched her fall apart and then be put back together slowly by her newly found friend Wolf. Increasingly jealous by how close the two were getting he left for a small vacation of the time period of the duels. He stayed in a monastery owned by a different demigoddess from his past. There he trained himself to become better so when he returned he could win Livianna back.
On his way back to the school he had run into Mel and tried to make his peace. While traveling with the hell hounds they were attacked by a group of hunters. They were able to kill Mel's two cousins Vladimir and Dracul. Along with half the pack. The others were forced to flee from the area and back to the older hounds. Louie saved Mel and quickly returned to the school where they were safe. Before he could return to Livianna he had to help Mel recover from the shock and trauma.
Personality: Louie appears cold but he cares a lot. Everything strikes a nerve or rakes up an emotion. He tries to keep it hidden from everyone.
Powers: Water control, ice control, and mind reading.
Weapons: Sword, and a staff.

Bio: She was tinkering before she could walk. Her parents encouraged such activities and she learned quickly. She took apart her mother's vacuum cleaner at the age of 6. Personality: Fun-loving and flirtatious. She is also smart as a whip and has the mechanical skills to match. She is as much at home at a formal dinner or ball as she is in the engine room of an airship. She is very gregarious and makes friends easily. She is also a shameless flirt who pays little attention to gender. She is also fond of alcohol.
Powers: Able to work metal without a forge, can "see" how machines work just by looking at them, can make seemingly impossible things work.
Weapons: An over-sized bronze and wood revolver that shoots hollow-tipped shells. It has the power and kick of a shotgun in a much smaller size.

Illusionist - Can supernaturally control the spirit realm, and make things happen, under the disguise of being an illusionist. In short, he does the things that magicians do to entertain, but he does them for real, and pretends to be a simple magician. (examples- teleportation, mind reading and levitating)

She has a Type A personality which means, more often than not, she is highly competitive, aggressive, obsessive, and stressed. Because of this, it's difficult for her to date around. He had fought for both of their lives but Alexander still went to the hostpital from a broken arm and luccator was stabbed. he changed forever after that day and now its hard for anyone to get close to him. Though he has a beautiful and kind heart he doesnt assisiate with anyone. He also won the as a fresheman and has kept his title every year. He plans on bringing glory to his house for all four years.

Bio: My name is Ravenell Freebird. I was first born in the early 1700's to a Duke's family somewhere in England. My mother Lilian Freebird died in labor and I was left to be raised by my Uncle Jonathan Freebird. I was given many beautiful things as a child and raised with the highest education. When I was 15 I was engaged to a son of a fellow Duke. Then I got sick with the Spanish Influenza. I was supposed to die but as my life seemed to be flickering out my father reentered my life. I should mention he is Death, and no I'm not joking. Apparently he has a lot of children each born during a different era in time but all having a different power of his. Although my mother had given me beauty, brains, and the most wonderful family it did not compare to the gift he gave me. The power of reincarnation and the art of mastering memories.
After I died I was able to reincarnate myself. Although my memories where foggy the first couple of times I did it, I soon had the art down. Now I can reincarnate myself and others with full memory of their past life. Although this is sometimes dangerous and traumatic depending on how they died the first time. I don't have much family left though the Freebird line continues in England I have to be careful not to look to similar to my old self. It makes things...shall we say complicated?
Personality: Ravenell is a spunky girl, sometimes using more words than she needs too. She's a rebel and loves to party. Its an adjustment from her old mannered self. In public she is proper all the time but if you get alone with her or your a trusted friend you see her wild side. She can sometimes be cold and cruel but like her personality get close to her and win her favor and you are safe from getting toyed with.

My father is Dr. Ian Eckert, the foremost mind in bio-engineering and ranked as one of the top 20 richest men in the world and in the top 10 best looking men. Personality: Flirty, mischevious, but when angry becomes very angry.
Powers: Can conjure roses he uses to feed off of people's souls in little bits in a way that won't cause any harm. Can summon hellfire (black flames that can't be put out my non-magic means and burn hotter than a normal flame) to increase his strength by coating himself on it (which causes his third power to become passive due to the fact that the fire burns his clothes off). Normally, exudes a seduction aura that affects anyone attracted to males (doesn't affect lesbians and straight men) but he can actively use it to completely make someone fall in love/lust for him.
Weapons: Black Rose Blade (summons it by creating a rose and infusing it with hellfire, turning it black before it become a black rapier covered in thorns, when it swings it trails black rose petals)
Extra: In addition to the roses, he can feed off of someone by normal incubi/succubi means (i.e. sexing them to death and eating their soul in the process) but Fang would only do this if he was out of control of his 'hunger'. He's also a master pianist.

The Snake House

Bio: Mel came to the school to learn to keep her shifting under control. She made some friends and when things started to get rough invited her twin cousins to come to the school too. A small pack formed and soon the hell hounds were forced to keep separated for the safety of students like Livianna. Mel finally decided to take the other hounds out to work on their mental connections and to try working as a pack.
While she and the other hell hound youths were running around on their own. They kept a low profile so people couldn't find them. None the less Mel and her cousins were captured by a group of hunters. There was a lot of trouble and in the thick of it all the twin hell hounds Dracul and Vladimir were killed. After the trauma of it all Mel created a second personality. A way to deal with the shock of the loss and what she had caused. To top it all off Louie her sworn enemy had saved her. It was really the shock of her being nice to him that made her realize that she had split her mind and her personalities combined back into one.
Personality: Mel is a playful girl who loves to be around people. She is very emotional and tries hard not to express it so much. After everything she became a little tougher and looses her temper much easier now. She is a terrible flirt as well and loves to have fun.
Powers: Fire and shadow control; Mel can also summon up different parts of her hell hound form.

Bio: For most of her childhood before hitting puberty, Murmur thought that she was a human, being raised for most of her life by her human mother with human ideals and beliefs. Soon their father attempted to teach them the ways of being a creature of the night, to which both Murmur and Alastor could not accept, since they have yet to let go of their human past and hesitant to sever ties with their human mother, thus retaining their human names.
Personality: Generally, Murmur puts on the facade of a volatile and short-tempered delinquent often getting into fist fights with anyone who dares to mock her family, especially her now deceased human mother. Independent and much prefer to be alone or in the company of her brother, Murmur is an individual who won't take anything that bothers her laying down and without a fight. But like all facades, there is a reason for this, Murmur's reason being to hide her vulnerability as a cambion. Murmur is the one that is most uncomfortable with the fact that she is a cambion, used to be use and tempt others into doing her bidding. She also is the one that can't control her pheromones which she oozes out in amounts nor can she control the sensitivity that comes with being a cambion. She hates it and seeks to bury that part of herself as well as deny it.

Extra: Because of her being a Cambion, she avoids doctors like the plague because apparently she has not pulse nor breath, despite appearing like she is alive. As a result, she has an irrational fear of doctors and hospitals in general.

Bio: Like Murmur, Alastor grew up as a human with human ideals and beliefs. As the only man of the family, Alastor grew up thinking that he should protect both himself as well as the rest of family in the absence of his father. But because Murmur chose the life to be an independent, it made his life easier and allowed him to focus on protecting his mother's reputation and diginity as well as finding ways to earn income. When Murmur hit puberty, his mother's health was beginning to deteriorate, even more so when he too reahed puberty, to which his mother appeared to grow even more frail with each passing day. It was here that their father had begin to teach them what it meant to be a Cambion, the offspring of an incubus father and human mother, which to both their horrors, were the reason why their mother suffered the way she did. He too rejected the idea of tempting others to do his bidding and was sicken by the idea of using his body as a way to manipulate. When their father renamed them, Alastor refused to sever his ties with his human past as well as his human mother.
Personality: Alastor is the reserved and aloof loner whom firmly follows his own honour code as well as beliefs without shifting. Reinstated by the fact that he'll stand-up for himself in a violent confrontation or otherwise. He has confidance his strength as well as strong resolve to pave through everything and anything as a way to compensate for not protecting his mother. He is also the more level-headed and logical often being the one that calms his sister's irrational fears. Unlike Murmur, Alastor is the stronger between the two when it comes to his control in his Cambion abilities. Demonstrated as such in Pheromone control and sensitivity where Alastor can control it physically. However, because of his human upbringing he would forget to control it and often unknowingly let his Pheromones ooze out of control and become hyper-sensitive to touches, having yet mastered how to control it automatically, like he does with breathing.

The Duel
The rules for the duel are simple.
1: You must have a partner for the most of the duel or you will be pared up with a random contestent that doesnt have a partner either.
2: Both must pass the physical exaim.
3: The contestants may use powers, weapons, and magic. But poison, curses, and demon summoning is not allowed.
4: The duel is elemination rounds and once you make it into the final round it is a free for all with the last two partnered pairs.
5: Two champions will be selected unless one declines, cheats, or is found to have used anyother unsportsmenlike conduct.
6: If injured you must still go, this is an indurance challenge, so healing is allowed.

Physicals
Physicals is where all students report to the gym to get their physical taken. The boys are on one side and the girls are on the other. The boys chests are measured and then are led to seperate curtained in places with nurses to be tested in all other regular physical tests. Though they can choose to have their chests measured privatly if they don't like the pryin geyes of girls on the other side who are taken back behind curtains to be measured and tested as well by nurses as well. This happens twice a year.

Hayden walked into the common room and sat down. This was ging to be an interesting year. They were getting new room assignment and she was with an Alexander. She hoped that person had the first name of a guy but was a gril like her. She started thinking her usual thoughts and smiled.

Alex made short skips to the common room accompanied with little hums and whistles here and there. Once she got there she took her ear phones out of her ears and looked around; finding no one she knew.
"Oh, well..." she shrugged and made her way to a seat.

Elly was in the corner of the common room and no one had noticed her. She stayed in teh shadows and her eyes watched everything and everyone that came and went. She looked like soem weird child if you saw her. But really she just stayed there. No one ever came close to her for she was of the snake house and they where said to be evil or soemthing like that. But most of them where just misunderstood just like her.

Luccator walked slowly towards his class holding his bag over his shoulder. The girls waved and bid him a good morning as he walked towards the dinning room for breafeast. He sighed softly to himself as he walked and stared at the floor. He was thinking about training as he usually did and didn't even wave back to a group of girls as they waved at him. His mind then wondered to graduation and he shook his head. He didn't think there was anygirl who could fill the empyness and truely understand him... He stopped before the huge stain glass window of an angel and a dragon flying together and the colors washed over him as he stared at it's beauty. How he wished he could ever find love like those two..
Alexander walked down the halls happily and winked at some girls making them swoon. He flipped his hair and heard sighs as he passed. He chuckled to himself and began thinking about random thoughts and about who his next little girlfriend would be. Unlike his older brother he was constantly in and out of relationships and he loved it. He laughed for no reason at all as he walked towards the cafiteria and then stopped seeing his brother. They met eyes for a split second before his brother returned to looking at the stainedglass. Alexander shook his head and continued walking and returned to walking happily soon after and was whistling a tune on his way to the cafiteria.

Elly watched everyone walk and decided it was time to go and haunt a different part of the school. She slowly turned into her panther form and made a silentl exit. She walked down the hall sticking to the shadows and headed to teh cafiteria to get some meat or something. But as she did she stoped when she saw a stained glass window. The picture rocked her to her core and flashes of blood flashed in her mind, forcing her back itno her human form. She backed up to the wall and cluched her head, trying to calm down. But she knew in a matter fo second she was going to flip and start hurting something.

Voilet quickly walked down the hall hoping not to miss breakfast since she needed her strenght for her traning today."Damn I only have few minutes left"She whispered to herself.She skidded to a stop infront of the doors that lead to the dining halls.She quickly fixed her hair and made sure she didnt drop anything before she opened the doors to the massive dining hall.

Alex noticed people leaving and checked the clock. Food time! She bolted for the cafeteria, dodging slow-pokes on the way.
"Yum..." she patted her flat stomach and glanced at a random hot guy casually walking by. "Yum-my!" she laughed softly to herself and looked around at all the different people.

Kiki is in her room and prays and and heads for the bow and arrow place she goes to work on her bow and arrow and be really good still after that she sits down near a tree and rests for a while.

Seri-Ana headed into the school for her next year. Hopefully it would maybe be better than the others, but somehow she doubted that. She had been told to go to the common room to start, but decided to head in a slightly different direction. Windows lined the old halls, some stained, others not so much. The blue skinned girl caught the attention of some students. Hell, she was blue after all. That wasn't going to change. Seri did know enough spells to hide her skin color, but she honestly did not care to use them. She saw a figure clutching her head ahead in the halls. It only could belong to one other. "Elly" Seri said happily. Well, as happily as someone from Snake house got on average. Which amounted to almost nothing. "You drop something?" She asked the werepanther. Knowing full well Elly dropped nothing and was just troubled.

Alexander smiled and entered the dining room. He waved to his boys from his house and they all joked and called to him like usual. He grinned and winked at a cutie that he passed and then sat by his friends. He joked and talking with them and they all laughed at his awsome jokes and other guy things.Luccator noticed a girl in the dark spot of the window and smiled reasuringly. "You should hurry and get to the dining hall for breakfeast..." he said softly and waved before slowly walking towards the dining room. As champion he represented the school and in doing so he always said prayer for every meal. He walked into the cafiteria and suddenly many people were whispering and staring. He ignored it as he walked to the head table where Professor Death was seated. His seat at her left was waiting and he bowed at the waiste to her before straightening and turning to the rest of the students, waitig for the bell to ring before he said prayer.

Alex smiled at Alexander and sighed. Shaking her head she didn't feel hungry anymore and took a seat at a table by a window; alone. She glanced around, hoping no teachers would notice and stuck her earphones in again and played a game on her phone. She stuck her tongue out as she really got into the game.

Hayden walked to the dinner hall and had no idea where to sit. All her friends had been seniors last year so they were gone. She walked and sat by a bunch of guys from her house. She giggled quietly at their jokes. She watched them and looked for Luucator but she couldn't find him.

Violet quickly took a seat and started to eat quietly.She looked up and rolled her eyes when she saw Luccator. "what was so great about him"She thought as she ate her food.Just because he was a good swordsman."I could do much better than him"Violet whispered.

Sachi scrambled up steps to her room she was so excited to be accepted to this school, her family was vary proud of her. She threw open the door to her room and took a running leap onto her bed and let out a squeal of joy.

Luccator stood from his spot at high table and sighed. Right on time the bell rang and all eyes turned to him. He looked over all of them putting on a smile and then clasped his hands. He bowed his head and then said the prayer in Latin and then in English. "Dear Lord, please bless this food to help our bodies, minds, spirits, and souls for this day. For without you we are nothing but with your help we are everything. Amen." he said and then sat. The hall errupted into talking and eating and he ate quietly not wanting to talk.Alexander laughed loudly as the prayer was over. "Dude that guy is totally gotta be gay... He hasn't had a relationship ever.. Ans they encourage that here!" a guy said and Alexander let it slide. "Yeah, there's a rumor that he won't get a match at graduation just because he's too perfect." another said and Alexander growled. "Thats not true. He just concentraits on school too much and doesn't have time for anything else. Besides it's not like one of you dorkss could be the champion. I mean a girl contestant could kick you asses." he said and they all laughed agreeig and began joking again.

Hayden looked up at Luucator lovingly and glared at the guys next to her. "Some people are so rude." she said loud enough for them to hear her. She continued to galre at them wondering if they would dare say anything back.

Sachi was vary hungry and new that i was dinner time but she didn't know where the dinning hall was so she quickly rummaged through her luggage and found a candy bar. Not being one to stay in on place for to long Sachi started to wonder around, she may even find the dinning hall.

Alex overheard the comment about Luccator and frowned.
"That wasn't nice..." she said quietly. She smiled at Hayden and nodded in agreement. "The rude ones are the ones with no lives." Alex walked up to her and waved with her fingers. "Hi. I'm Alex." she held out her hand at the upper classman(woman?) and raised an eyebrow. "Wanna be my friend? I dunno anyone else."

Elly and Seri-Ana went separate ways. Seri headed into the common room after prayer. She was very quiet upon entering. Seri respected the people who were religious... as long as they didn't force that stuff on her. Like some sort of god rape. She took her seat with they other students in her dooms and ate in peace.

Violet frowned when she heard the comment.Even though she didnt particularly care for Luucator but nobosy should say something like that.Even though Violet did want to say something about the rude comment she bite her tongue and stood up.It was about time for her to go to sword practice.She grabbed her bag and sword and walked out of the dining hall.

Alexander looked at the girl and shook his head. "Hey cool it beautiful. He's my brother so I hav every right to make fun of him." he said and leaned closer to her. "But I'm way better looking and more fashionable." he said and the guys laughed. "We have a uniform you idiot!" one said. "What ever. The first week everyone gets to wear whatever because the new uniforms won't be in for a week. So there. It pays to have a champion as a brother sometimes." he said and they all agreed and Alexander turned to the girl again. "So are you new then?"The proffessor stood and silence echoed threw the diner hall. "I have one quick announcement. This year we are changing our uniforms... By the vote of the student coucil we are now having pink added to the white and gold uniforms. So for a week you may wear what you wish. But once they are in there's no excuse not to wear them. Even if there are people who don't like them." she said and then sat. Leccator sat silently and then once she was done he excused himself early. He had to meet the new students soon anyway. He walked to the cortyard and looked atthe huge clock on one of the many towers. Soon all the new students would come... But for now he just enjoyed the sun and silence. He seemed to shimmer because underneath his skin was his beautiful white scales and they always shimmered in light no matter what.

"yay i found it!!" Sachi Slowly opened the door to the dinning hall and poked her head in. "wow look at all these students!" she said to her self. "Hmmm i wonder why those girls are frowning and whats so funny way are those guys laughing?'' Then the food caught her eye. "oh goody real food!!" Since the group of boys where so distracted she slid next to one and began to eat off his plate.

Alex blinked at him, wondering if he was talking to her or Violet.
