It could go far. But don't over extend yourself that you can't afford to get your items. Questing always comes first and stuff on the side takes a back seat.

I sort of copied in a small way the Admin pick, but for the quest forum only. It's my gold that's going to be given away, so there are certain things that I will be looking for in winning avatar. *shrugs* I see it not as a copying, but an extension of an idea. *nods* Hope there is no trouble that comes from doing the contest.
