Have you ever heard of Jack Prelutsky? He is a really amazing poet! My favorite kids poet is still Shel Silverstein...but Jack Prelutsky's stuff is super cute! I have his book, "It's Raining Pigs and Noodles" and I use his poetry to make songs for my students in my class (I'm an elementary music teacher).
