I've never been to the TK thread on Gaia - I'm just really not interested in doing much chatting there.

i remember how much fun the last event was in the TK thread.
i haven't chatted that much before or since actually lol

This is my first event thread with the TKs and it's been fun so far! :)

i'm just sad that today is the only day i can participate.

i'd ask if someone could acquire a set of the event items (the ones bought with candy), but it'd take me a while to acquire any gold they might want for them and they might not want to wait. i'd never assume someone would offer them for nothing.

but if someone wouldn't mind collecting a spare set for me, i promise i'd pay you for them eventually.
it'd just take quite a few games of tetris lol

I'm not bad. Just chilling in the cafeteria for now. There's a woman with a little girl about... three I guess, right by here and the little girl is so adorable XD. She goes up to this girl and says "you're so pretty!" and then the girl says "you're cute!" and the little girl says "thank you!" and she's just cute XD.

Awww - toddlers can be so adorable! I love the cute little things my 3 year old says.

Yeah haha, they're adorable but I don't have the patience for it full time XD. I see my four year old nephew every day; he's a joy, but I tend to isolate myself a lot, and htat's impossible when a small child.

i love kids when they're toddlers.
it's when they get older that they start to become little blighters lol

Actually come to think of it, I don't think I could deal with someone of any age all day every day for much length of time, haha.

i know that feeling.
i'm somewhat of a recluse.
not so much in the house. i'm quite happy to socialise with my housemates, i just don't like going out and socialising in large groups or for any length of time.
at least at home i can escape to my room lol

i know where the next item is. i just don't have the candy XD

And yeah... I mean I could live with other adults as long as I didn't have to pay attention to them all the time. That's the thing about small kids is you have to pay attention to them all the time.

I'm somewhat of a recluse... my hubby does a wonderful job taking over the kids and letting me have alone time when he is at home.

i like other people's kids.
cos when you're tired of them you can hand them back lol

That's nice, Lissi. That's how I think households should be; childrearing isn't a job for one person.

@captain: Yeah that's basically what I was saying, haha. I like kids in general but as for having my own, that's something that's a long way off, and may depend on the relationships I'm in. I definitely would take as many precautions as possible so that I wasn't forced to have any when I didn't want them... presently that isn't a problem, though. Fortunately XD.

@poet`s playground: i'm incredibly careful about that.
when i left school at 16, so many of my friends had kids or got married/engaged. even now that i'm 23 and i hear of friends having kids etc i just *can't* see it happening to me. it just doesn't feel right.
i'm only 23, why would someone want a kid at that age.

it takes all sorts. some people get broody for a family sooner than others i suppose.
