For another hour the music continued to flow with precise ease, feeding itself into the wires and out the many giant speakers and subwoofers hidden through the club. Each song melded into another, making it impossible to pick out just where one started and one ended unless you knew both songs. She strictly watched the beats per minute to one, and her changes in tempo were seamless. The young woman spoiled her customers, never jumping from this to that in a way that made it quite a pleasurable experience to listen and dance to.

Keeping the dancers out jam packing the floor was a source of pride for her and it brought a languid smile to her lips as she was nodding with the music, one muff of her headphones put up to her ears as she was cuing another song in and out, readying it to be put into play. It was her last song of the night before her round was up. The last few hours would be left to Duke, who'd take care of winding everyone down. That was another exclusive fact of the club. The DJs were each chosen for specific time sets according to what the pace should be at what hour. Hers were the most high key and high energy hours from around midnight to two or three AM.

Only when her follow up was sliding into the booth with his binder of music did Yoki reluctantly step out. For a few moments she contemplated a couple drinks, but none of her aquaintances were about that night to drink with, so she decided to skip it. Waking up with cotton mouth before a day of dancing in the studio was never all that advisable anyway, so she shrugged into her jacket once she'd retrieved it and was giving Dale a way from the back exit before heading out.

It should have been like any other night, really. Slip out the back before anyone knew she was there, slink out of the dirty alley and be across the street from where she usually parked her bike. Not tonight. Instead she was abruptly met with a disturbing mixture of sweat, a strange scent that reminded her of a snake for some reason - not that she'd ever smelled one, she was squeamish about those - and the chuckling in a manner that made a shiver run up her spine.

She didn't even have time to whirl and hurry back inside, knowing better than to keep her routine. A gruff hand snatched her by the wrist and dragged her back out, the door closing before anyone could hear her shriek of protest. Only the voluptuous woman sitting on the fire escape a few stories up would, and it only made her cherry red lips lift in satisfaction.

Beady black eyes, as dark as ink, peered down from a few floors up. They were filled with a cruel, lazy amusement that made her full lips lift in a sneering smile. Carey's long nails drummed lightly on the metal bar that her hands, delicate things to be sure, rested upon. Oh, how pleasing it was to see the little git get what was coming to her, nevermind that the girl had absolutely no clue why this was happening. Trivial matter, her pride and ego had to be mended after the young slip of a girl had stolen the attention of her night's preferred delicacy.

The demon watched as the dark haired girl, pretty at best, was slammed roughly up against the dingy brick wall hard enough to make her head bounce of it. That had to hurt... what a gleeful way to start off. Carey even smelled a little blood and considered the possibility that the girl might even get a concussion. Even better. She wanted to make it so the girl wouldn't be able to return to the club for months, if ever. Perhaps the humiliation and fear would make her quit outright. Choices choices.

The hands that she had ordered to have some fun with the girl were coarse and rough. The human looked so blissfully disoriented as she was tossed around like a rag doll, finding her jacket torn from her in shreds somewhere in the process. She gave only a few small cries, head obviously spinning too much to do much else, so they would have to suffice to be the music to Carey's ears. No blade touched her skin, only talons of her subordinates, raking into her shoulder, creating rips and gouges through even the steel boned corset and fairly sturdy pant legs. Welts were left along with some bruises in the rough handling. Around and around she went to another sneer, another degrading comment she could barely make out in the darkness.

The smell of her panic was blissful to Carey's nose as she watched it play out on the girl's flushed features along with confusion and pain. And they were even playing nicely with her, too. What a delightful little play she was watching. Blood wafted up to her nose like the finest cuisine, curling her lips upward as the tip of her tongue darted out to wet them. She might not have been a vampire who needed that, but she still found the taste quite delectable.

And so she remained high above watching the show, unaware of anything inside that might thwart her plans or that a pair of people had been tracking the young DJ all around the club to get her number.

((Horror, huh? Go fig. >> Hrm, I cannot think in evil creature mindset tonight. So alas, we're only getting our demented duo. xD ))

Every inch of him screamed, 'I can't believe you're doing this', as he tore after her through the crowd, both with an end goal of the fairly ignored back door. In fact, he took off with such speed he nearly skidded clean into the brick wall when he tried to apply the breaks a few moments to soon when he came upon her waiting figure at the doorway.

He huffed and puffed in agony. "What... The hell... Is your... Problem?" He held his chest and leaned forward, knees bent and holding one to steady himself.

"I saw her go this way," her voice was flat.

He looked up her way, still gasping for the oxygen that escaped him. "And?"

"And," she stopped, pressing her body up against the door, ear strained to listen carefully; "something's off." Muffled sounds she couldn't make out in the least, greeted her ears. Could be a cat digging through the garbage, for all she knew; but it made her hair rise slightly, just the same.

He stopped panting, expression taking a serious turn as he stood upright. "Off how?"

"I don't know, just, off."

He nodded. He'd been feeling the bad blood all night. he knew neither could explain it, but it was there for certain. "So, she's just on the other side, you think?"

"I don't see how she couldn't be." She shook her head slightly in thought. "No way she could have gotten far, anyhow." Her face somehow regained that impish glow, her voice somewhere between a harsh whisper and a squeal. "Maybe alls well and I can finally get her number!"

He groaned. "Are you still on that, seriously?" He frowned down at her.

"Seriously," she retorted, rearing back to hip check the door open with gusto. And hip check she did. But not without a good "oww, fuck, not smart", in the process.

Her brain voiced a loud and enthusiastic, 'boom, baby!' as the door swung open and she held out her arms, but what actually escaped her lips was a barely audible, "wtf"?

Ki peeked out behind her in curiosity and she held him back. He, getting a better glimpse, instinctively held an arm out protectively. The scene before them was horrible, barely far up at all they witnessed the woman whirling and twirling around in helpless, letting out the most fleeting of cries in her dizziness as some clearly drunken and mindless skeezes were more than getting fresh, from the looks of things. Especially that torn jacket, and the slight scent of copper that hung in the air.

Her eyebrows narrowed and she folded her arms. She cleared her throat loudly to detract all attentions from the woman and towards herself. She clacked her tongue, shifting her weight from one hip to the other, tapping a foot.

"So what exactly do we have here?" She cocked a brow. "A gang bang?"
