I didn't even know double gold day still existed!

it was very nice of hummy to inform me of it about a year ago. and i keep forgetting about it. :3

First person is the I/we perspective.
Second person is the you perspective.
Third person is the he/she/it/they perspective.

Probably because it's really confusing if you talk to someone.

You would speak in such a way you might not be understood at all? *Takes wild stab at attempting this*

The issue with second person is that when read it becomes first person for the reader... at least that's how it appears to me.

Did i actually write in second person? Cause i'm seriously trying really hard to figure out how to write in second person and my brain is going "boop boop, does not compute"

I struggle so much with first/second/third person as well D: I can start out in first person as that's what I know but then I stop what I've written and second guess myself. "Did I move into second person? No, no, no, I'm fine, really. But what if I did? If I ever wanted to get this published, what editor would ever even bother reading my work if I can't get the first/second/third person styles down?!?" That's about when i chuck it all away and give up for the week. Then the cycle resumes xD It's torture I tell you.

Bookworm - This is why it's so important to have a friend or two to read it. Preferably one that's very blunt.

Whatever speak we speak in as long as we speak a lot of it it'll all that up in the Goldie's pile

That's very true... though I don't really pay attention to gold anymore. I come here to chat.

I just skip over worrying about the tenses in the first draft. and than figure on my second or third draft I'll clean up the tenses. xD
