I'm getting my gall bladder removed tomorrow. >_< I'm very anxious about it.
Has anyone else been 'cut open' and had procedures done?
How did you feel after?
Was it terrible? Did you wake up during the op? D:
Was it ultimately the right thing to do?
I'm no nervous I can't sleep.

I've never had any major surgeries before.
But I just wanted to let you know that I read your thread and I will be keeping you in my thoughts for tomorrow. :)
I am sure that it will all go well!

Thank you, love <3
I hope I don't have to spend extra time in the hospital. They said I should be out same day, but worst case I may need to be there for 1-3 days.

Gall bladder surgery is a tairly simple procedure. I have known a few folks that have had it done, but I have not.
Barring any complications, you should get to go home the same day.
I, however, had open heart surgery...they sawed my breastbone in half and put me on a heart/lung machine while they sewed veins harvested from my leg into my heart to bypass the clogged ones.
I spent 11 days in the hospital. ..and about 4 weeks after being sent home, I am still in some pain, feel weak and am not supposed to lift anything that weighs 10 to 15 pounds.
I am pretty sure that your recovery time will be much swifter than mine will be.
I hope all went well!

I survived but oww, it hurts to bend over, sit, get up, etc. @_@
my upstairs neighbor stomping around woke me up out of a painkiller nap

It sounds like the procedure went well...
I hope your recovery is speedy.
Maybe you should invest in some noise deadening head phones to block out the noisy neighbor.
I hope you get some rest!

Yeah, and I thankfully did not pull a stitch. :)
Me too! I want to be able to sit comfortably again. xD
Also I have some ambient noise makers and I also have an airfilter and the fan in the bathroom running at allll times. Plus my humidifier makes a little noise as well...
She's just really loud!!
I kindof have issues with stuff being on my head when I'm sleeping. ><
I used to wear hats (literally all the time) and wearing them so much was starting to make my hair fall out.
>whoops
