Roliana's the topic for this thread.

Roliana is an avatar community with the usual ability to customize your avatar using different items and clothing pieces. It has a few games and some computer desktop wallpapers to download.

Hey, first post.
I joined in October 2007, and stopped being active around Spring/Summer 2008.
I gave away all my stuff late last year, I have nothing there now... I just bored of it...
Don't like the cash wheel thing, or the avatars anymore, or a lot of the DIs.

I like Roli, but I've already mentioned how awkward I think the avis look. :|

I'm also on Roli, same username as here.
But I can't keep up there, cause I am already on Menewsha alot.
I like the items alot, but I must say that the avatars have these dead faces, like :|
I like the games they added. I'm not on Roliana alot though.

I used to go on Roli.
It was pretty fun until I got banned :C

I like Roli, but I find it pretty boring lately. Some of the staff, well one I know of, seems a bit stuck up though. :lol:

I get sort of bored there as well but I suppose I sort of like it in some ways. I don't like how the event items have been really gendered lately, though. The older events had items that were for both bases, like male t-shirts and female t-shirts, but now it seems there will be a dress, and then a top and pants...

Oh Roli... :roll: I cannot express my disdain enough I don't think...

The baby arm. The squareish, strange-looking head. A certain staff member who is more than difficult. The general feel of the forums...

I do like some of their skins though -- the ones that make the avatars look prettier than they usually are. Those are a plus. My avatar is still naked there -- I don't really intend on spending any time on Roli. I look at their donation items each month, but that's about it.

hmm yes, they are awkward looking. Some of the older items are just odd looking. LOL

Poet, can't you wear all items on each base anyway?

You can wear all of the items, but it's pointless if it's still shaped like the other base. It's like a guy putting on a t-shirt that has balloons in it or something... but it's just supposed to be a t-shirt.

Yeah, so that's the part I'm not fond of lol, turns me off to the events.

@Sizzla, the only item I've bought for Roli for my avi is something to put in the cocked hand. I think it might actually make it look worse.

I won't save/create an avatar over there, even though I have an account. I refuse to put my name to something so ugly.

Wow, haha. I guess I'm really undiscerning when it comes to avatars; the word "ugly" never comes to mind when I look at things like that. But to each their own, I guess.

Well, some of the avatars on other sites don't look professional, but they have charm. Roli's are just plain bad.

I like them, though *shrugs*. I definitely don't think they're ugly.

LOL I think they have an awkward charm to them. When I first joined I thought they were goofy looking though.
They've grown on me.
The feet bug me though and they really need new layering. I think they are working on that.

New layering would be nice, yeah, although they're still better than some, I suppose.

Yep, but they need anklets on an ankle layer, not the wrist layer XD and stockings should not be on the same layer as underwear. LOL

Yeah although the stocking thing does kind of make sense since you sort of wear them as a kind of underwear, just in addition to regular underwear.

LOL yeah, but it's annoying. :lol:

I guess so, although I really like the fact that the underwear is no longer required there.

Every time I head to the Roliana page I get this white page with an error message... Anyone else have that problem?

I haven't had problems with Roli since the Valentine's Event ended. D=

I may have to stop posting in this forum, especially since I use the same username everywhere but Gaia.

Anyway, I just realized that over on Roli most people are still in their Valentine's event outfits. ._. Maybe, cause, the avis are oogly?
