Ah yeah, I agree with that. I want to try more toys and things but I want to get as many fish as I can, so for now I'm sticking with only items that let a lot of cats visit.

I just love the ones that look cute when kitties play with them. Like the cowboy hat. I love Billy the Kitten so much!

I've bought almost all the toys that require gold fish

I've been hoarding all my fish for two months now, I think I have enough to buy the whole store now. Is there actually a point to emptying out the store and buying all of the remodels? Not that there needs to be, the cats are adorable. :3

I think the goal is to have all the cats visit, get pictures of them and have them give you mementos
But i just want to buy everything so i won't have to check the store anymore

The idea is to attract every cat.

Ooh yeah, that happens to me too. Then I don't get their cool stats. I suppose at least I can focus on just gathering mementos while I try and persuade those final 3 cats to come on by.

So I've been hoarding fish (almost have 2000 silver ones) - do you guys think it's a waste to convert those into gold fish? I'm about 35ish short of the first yard expansion.. That'd give me a nice boost, but I could just as easily wait a few days and probably have it from visits.

I think either way works ^_^ once you have the yard expansion, your potential silver and gold fish income both increase :)

Right now, I only have one cat that has not visited me yet. Frosty! And I have more than half of the mementos, which means lots of kitties who consider me a friend, yay <3

Don't forget to do the Daily Password! You can get some extra silver and gold fish that way. You can find it in the "News" icon.

I dont think silver fish matter as much after yard expansion. unless you want to buy something that cost silver fish.

And it's fine to use them however you wish. How can it ever be wasteful? XD

Ignis, the Daily Password can be found by pressing on the "News" icon. It gives you some fish each day.

Kent, I guess you are right that they are just Fish, but I call them Silver Fish to differentiate them from Gold Fish.

Right now, I am converting all of my silver fish to gold fish. I plan to buy all of the remodel styles right now. I tried a sashimi diet but that was not worth the amount of fish gained, so my cats are back to a frisky bitz diet. Only 30 silver fish (or just fish, if you prefer) with a bigger profit than the sashimi diet gave.

The yard expansion was the first thing I bought with gold fish. Mainly because I just wanted to get that big item out of the way.
And it worked out because then I had more room for more stuff!

Seeing this thread reminded me to refill the bowls with some Frisky Bits. I forget to refill the bowls sometimes, poor kitties. I am at 248 gold fish now, so I will get to buy another remodel soon. I have three more of those to buy, then it's back to hoarding the playthings (goodies).

I'm in that mode where I just try to check in to refill the bowls and hoard fish. And then once in a while, I'll get a weird burst of involvement and get the more expensive food and then check repeatedly trying to catch those last three cats... Dangit~

I'm also basically in that mode of refilling the bowls, which I usually forget to do nowadays, and hoarding fish. But I am almost at another remodel (too bad the next ones are not half off too) so I will go back down to a few fish soon, heheh ^_^

And I have my baseball out so that Joe DeMeowggio can visit...I'm still missing a Memento from him.
